Mr. Hamid Karzai has been diagnosed with dementia and a mental imbalance. He seems to have lost his balance. He criticized NATO, the USA, ISAF and Pakistan in one speech. He lamented that the US is not selling Afghanistan the arms and planes, and ridiculed
Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai said on Thursday that the U.S. and NATO war against the Talibs would “not be successful,” and accused Western media of waging “psychological warfare” on his country. No one knows what Karzai meant with that accusation. This much is certain, his speech displaced a very high level of frustration with all concerned.
Mr. Karzai wont be around for very long. He is prohibited from running for a third term. The lame duck “president” often called “the mayor of Kabul” said U.S. efforts to defeat the Taliban would fail “from Afghanistan’s view” because it was being fought in Afghan villages, rather than against insurgents based in neighboring countries – an apparent allusion to Pakistan.
In one speech, Mr. Karzai “pissed off” everyone, NATO, the US, ISAF, and of course his favorite whipping boy–Pakistan.
Apparently he doesn’t see the writing on the wall. He also doesn’t know that no one is interested in him or in Afghanistan anymore. OBL is dead and buried, and the US has demolished Al-Qaeda and actually used them to topple Qaddafi in Libya and is using it to fight Syria’s Assad.
He made a strange comment at exacerbating the situation with Islamabad. He said Kabul would strategic pact with Pakistan aimed at ironing out security differences when Afghans can be certain that “suicide bombers, terrorists, weapons and cross-border shelling” would stop.
He however did lament that the US wont’ fight Pakistan or stop the shelling coming from Pakistan. Islamabad has claimed that it only retaliates when it is shelling Afghan positions.
The whole world is sick of the whole mess called “Afghanistan”. The experiment has failed to produce results. The only thing Afghanistan does is export 911 terrorists, and the only thing it seems to import is world powers that want to occupy it.
