After the PPP and PMLNs victories in the by-elections and the Senate, the analysts are wondering how the PTI will bring about a change–when they could not even defend or win the seats vacated by its stalwarts when they joined the PTI. Boycott of the elections was a cop out–the PTI should have utilized it strength. If it could not do this now, it will be harder for it to do when the incumbent will be present in his seat
Imran Khan is trying to defend his party’s losses in the By-Elections which failed to produce any change.
The PTI is not part of the parliament–even if the PTI wins the National Assembly, how will it deal with a PPP occupied Senate. Imran Khan said that the Senators should be elected directly–however he did not explain how the deadlock will be broken, if the Senators resist change.
