Islamabad: US President Barack Obama‘s support to India‘s bid for a permanent seat in an expanded UN Security Council is ‘a diplomatic offensive against Pakistan‘, an opposition leader said in the National Assembly Wednesday.

‘The speech of US President Barack Obama in the Indian parliament backing their bid for a permanent seat in the UN Security Council is a diplomatic offensive against Pakistan,’ Nisar Ali Khan of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) said.

‘The decision taken by the US president to please his hosts like this had been viewed with extreme displeasure across the border in Pakistan,’ Nisar added.

Obama, addressing Indian parliamentarians Monday during his four-day visit to India, said the US would back Indian efforts to secure a permanent UNSC seat.

The Pakistani government and the intelligentsia have criticised Obama’s statement, saying it would disturb the power balance in the region.

The opposition leader said: ‘America is bluffing Pakistan that it is a frontline ally in the war on terror but the real fruits are being diverted to India.’

‘Does (US Secretary of State) Hillary Clinton really mean it when she says that war against militants can’t be won without Pakistan,’ he wondered.

‘The government had not taken PML-N on board before the strategic dialogue with United States in Washington last month,’ Nisar said, adding: ‘The current regime’s foreign policy makers need to set their priorities right.’ sify news. (Awais Saleem can be contacted at ians.pakistan@gmail.com)

1.US Supports India for permanent UN Seat and does not support Pakistan for the same position.why ? 2.US President makes first stop in India in his asian tour but does not visit Pakistan why ? 3.US will transf civilian nuclear technology to India while showing the middle finger to Pakistan why ? Read the following :The Guardian UK :”Pakistan must not be allowed to promote export on terror ” British PM David Cameron says “we cant tolerate in any sense that this country is allowed to look both ways and is able in any way to promote the export of terror, wether to India or Afghanistan or anywhere else in the world”end of quote. The British Pm in his speech in Banglore says that both Britain and India have been united in suffering from terrorism which originates from Pakistan.Sri lanka guardian “India is likely to remain for long time the centre piece of US Policy towards south asia.in contrast,Pakistan, despite its services in the war on terror seems to have lost its earlier pre eminent position in US foreign policy calculations.the fact that India is a well established democracy is a source of great strength to its strategic ties to the US…” UOA News “Pres Obama believes India no longer a rising power, but one that is taking its rightful place among world leaders”

Obviously one needs an IQ to comprehend what is going on behind the scenes. Obama is playing to the gallery with a couple of lollipops–and the entire country goes bananas with joy!

Not sure why Bharatis are so impressed with what the UK PM says? Who cares? Just becuase Cameron says something, doesn’t make it so. They lied about the WMDs just to wage war.

Babar understood this and warned his progeny “to beware of the the flatterers”.

A lot of effusive flattery–we agree. Not sure what it is about Bharatis, but they love to be flattered. Obama saw for himself the gutters, and the slumdog kids–he knows about Gharibaabd, and has seen the numbers on Bharati hunger, and the decline in HDI indices. Do you think they are blind folks?

No! They just faltter Bharat–and Bharaits lap it up like dogs drinking out of the commode.

This nonsense was started by the East Indian Company when they used to bow to the Mughal Emperors and ask for trading rights. “The nation of Shopkeepers” is very good at words. The Red Indian (Native Americans) heard the same words–and Sitting Bull said “White man speaks with forked tongue”.

I can show you more words for Pakistan over the past sixty years. Pakistan was promised a UNSC seat in the sixties under Ayub Khan. I wrote an article on “cornerstone of US policy” a few days ago–all words.

Kissinger said it best “US friendship is dangerous for its enemies, but very dangerous for its friends”.

Bharat has begun to learn the ways of America–wait till the planes arrive with the marines that will guard them!! The first time you use them, there will be an embargo.

Pakistan has already gone through all of this, and has no illusions. It has been the “most ally of allies” and knows that BF doesn’t mean BFF. It has also faced thirty years of US sanction because it had the balls to defy the US.

Pakistan is the Tipu Sultan of South Asia-

Of course this is too deep for you. Go back to your celebrations about the Civlian Nuclear deal–which may materialize some day. Pakistan already has 4 Civilian Nuclear plants working and a fifth one on the way. All with Chinese help!
