Richard Holbrooke was told by General Kiyani that the Paksitan Army would go to Waziristan “manyana” (literally means “tomorrow” but actually means never in Spanish). Trying to capitalize on the elimination of Bait Mehsud in Waziristan, he found no encouraging words in any quarter in Pakistan.
