An Israeli attack on Tehran would be counterpdoductive to American interests in the regions and would not achieve the objective of eliminating Iranain Nuclear program. The Iranian program is dispersed and it is undergroudn safe from the reaches of Israeli bunker buster bombs. The Iranain desert and arid mountains offers enough hiding places to the Iranains. Many of the sites in caves inside mountains cannot be reached by jets or bombs.

JERUSALEM (JTA) — Israel has the right to attack Iran’s nuclear program and the United States will not stand in her way, Joe Biden said.
“Israel can determine for itself — it’s a sovereign nation — what’s in their interest and what they decide to do relative to Iran and anyone else,” the U.S. vice president told reporter George Stephanopoulos Sunday morning on ABC’s “This Week.”
Biden said Israel could decide to attack Iran whether the United States agrees or not.
“They’re entitled to do that. Any sovereign nation is entitled to do that. But there is no pressure from any nation that’s going to alter our behavior as to how to proceed,” Biden said, adding: What we believe is in the national interest of the United States, which we, coincidentally, believe is also in the interest of Israel and the whole world.”

Bombing Iran is an excersize in futility. The rapid reaction of Tehran will be to block the Gulf of Homuz destroying the oil supplies to Japan, and Europe. This would have a catatrophic effect on the world economy and the Middle East. Hamas and Hizbullah may launch attacks on Israel proper and the Iranians will probably fire their Shahab rockets at Tel Aviv destroying Israeli infrastructure. In addition Iran may also attack US bases in the Middle East.
Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said a U.S. strike on Iran would be “very destabilizing,” as would a nuclear Iran, during an assessment of American foreign policy in Iran, Iraq, Pakistan and Russia on “Face the Nation” Sunday.
Admiral Mullen probably aghast at the VPs statements made an attempt to calm down the parties. Obama has been very diplomatic about bombing Iran.

an israeli attack on iran is not possible unless america gives a green single it doesnt matter even if whole gcc supports israels decission for preemptive strike coz it will be these countries who will see the wrath of iranians missle blasts and plus the russian support china itself wont allow this to happen as iran is one of its oil partners its just a hype created by some war junkies to create a chaos around this region
