Peoples Daily blames Bharat for Urumqui riots

The Peoples Daily of China is the voice of China. Nothing appears in it unless it is sanctioned by the Communist Party of China. The front page of the Peoples Daily published an article which in a round about but not so subtle manner blamed Bhrat for the rioting in Xinjiang. Several articles in the Peoples Daily mentioned foreign forces for the troubles in Xinjiang. Bharat has been in the forefront of the battle for Tibet. When the Peoples Daily publishes several article blaming the same foreign forces that caused trouble in Tibet, the finger clearly points at Delhi.

  • Government and Communist Party departments at all levels in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region should rely on the people of all ethnic groups to build a “steel wall” for the region’s stability to safeguard the interests of the people, senior Chinese leader Zhou Yongkang said in Hotan Saturday.
  • It is not surprising that Rebiya Kadeer is in the spotlight. If not for what happened in Urumqi last Sunday, most Chinese people knew little of the former businesswoman who built a fortune in Urumqi and became a rising star on the country’s political arena, got jailed for stealing national secret, and fled to the United States in 2005.
  • People continued to bombard Kadeer Saturday: some said the World Uygur Congress leader was seeking to become a Dalai Lama much needed by the East Turkestan, while others made a mockery of her photo with the exiled Tibetan monk.

The riots in Urumqui and Bharati involvement there has long term consequences for the Sino-Indo relationship which could have taken off after the BRIC meeting. However continued interference by Delhi in the internal affairs of China does not bode well for any improvement in relations. Both countries have been trading and plan to get the trading number to $60 Billion. However the political problems overshadow any trade advantage that could be garnished from the Silk Road. Here is one of the articles in the Peoples Daily.

The riot in northwest China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Sunday had been well planned and organized by foreign forces behind the scenes, a Pakistani newspaper chief said on Saturday.

“We saw riots in Tibet last year. It was expected that the Tibet scene would be replayed in Xinjiang though it is late. According to my assessment it was going to happen before or around the Beijing Olympics,” Baber Makhdoom, editor-in-chief of the English-language Daily Mail newspaper, told Xinhua.

“While the Chinese government was already doing a lot for the natives of Uygur Autonomous Region, these clashes erupted, now one can easily understand who is behind it. It is not the people who are living there, it’s someone from the outside, who is pursuing them, who is forcing them, or misguiding them,” he said.

Makhdoom said the hands behind the Xinjiang riot were the same as those behind the Tibet riot last year.

He said anti-China forces have been creating troubles, including terrorism, for China.

Some terrorist groups want to engage certain ethnic groups like the Uygur people in China and brainwash them, and use them to fulfill their political goals, he said.

Makhdoom has kept visiting China for the past seven years, almost four or five times a year. “Every time I go to Urumqi, the capital city of Xinjiang, I see tremendous harmony among the Uygurs and non-Muslim Chinese,” he said. “There have never been any hatred between them. They were enjoying a peaceful life.”

Makhdoom said he had met many Uygur people who are peace-loving citizens. “They were very happy, they were having complete religious independence and religious freedom,” he added.

Makhdoom said the Chinese government has always been smart in responding to such unrest.

“The Chinese government has shown great governance and its love for its people, and for the unity of the nation, and they have taken the right steps at the right time and I think that every government should be doing the same thing,” he said.

He said the Chinese government has been paying special attention to improving the living standards of the Uygur people with a lot of development projects being initiated in areas of minority ethnic groups.

Sunday’s rioting in Urumqi, the capital city of the Xinjiang region, has killed at least 184 people and injured more than 1,000 others. Peoples Daily. Xinjiang riot well planned by foreign wire-pullers: Pakistani newspaper chief

MR, moin your a rtical was worth reading yet it was infact a pakistani who gave details to china rather then chinese openly criticizing India, again china playing the policy of keeping quite and keeping friendly nations in doubt that what china is thinking, leaving the real culprits wander freely.

I hope these protests in china will not harm the chinese relations with pakistan and muslim worlds as a whole. With turkey being declaring the chinese initiatives agaist the protesters as genocide, china might believe that muslims world is not in the favor of china, thus leaving key players in the riots like “INDIA”.

News that china has banned the firday prayersis heart breaking. If any chinese has read this artical he must be aware that being a pakistani who considers china as a valuable friend, i must say that china must give full rights to muslims, it must sit with pakistan and make such a strong alliance, so that the threat to chinese and pakistanis can be met with a strong and agressive policies.

China and pakistan have been sitting quite for soo long and china seems pretty much unaware of potential of pakistan as a friend who have the “magic stick” that can not only make chinese become recognised superpower but can act as a regional power to sustain and enforce chinese super power status in the world. This kind of alliance will be one of its kind.

Chinese are always quite and whispering most of the time, its time to come forward and tell the world about the indian, israeli and US nexus and help pakistan support pakistan openly. If US can change governments in pakistan then why cant china, they must work hard to creats governements in pakistan with the help of PAK ARMY which are brave men, and we all know who those brave men, they can be from a religious group but china shouldnt care because they should know that Islam in india and ottoman empire was friendly to china, though disagreements are part of geograpical conflicts. Time for china to think and time for pakistan to realise that threat is real, its coming from more then dozen countries at the same time, together we can tackle this menace.

India remains a threat its a like a “Moskito” taking advantage of the weather being created by US and invisibility kind of tactics of Zionist Isreal to bite in the dark. China and paksitan needs to come more closer and declare their unity in order to change the weather and lighting up the room a bit to see the moskito, coz to teach lesson to a moskito it takes two hands to work together, together we’ll clap and moskito wont be their to bite.

The Peoples Daily does not publish articles which do not represent official Chinese policy. The article in question was a clever way to say what China wanted to say using Mr. Makhdoom. We also listed other articles from the the Daily Times which listed similar sentiments.

well Mr. Moin do agree off course you r the boss here lolzz. I never mis ur artical, they have become an addiction now. Every day when i wake up luv to study what u have written and luving it.

I will be looking forward for something about a news todays which states that pakistani who are doing propaganda against government and army even in the form of e mails will be given 14 years of sentence. Now its worrying coz i do agree that no one should do propaganda against army but government isnt doing that needs to be appreciated.

So its obvious that people will express their feelings against government in the form of e mails or any other recources. I am still thinking abt it that wht kind of impact its gona have on people like you or those who are critical of governments stupidities.

        • Moin Ansari says:

We are US based, so you can worry about your mail being monitored and the US Patriot Act and ending up in Gitmo–but you can’t be tried in Pakistan…you may just end up there via rendition!

          Smile!

Once again we thank you for your feedback and for visiting our site. We appreciate that.

I dont understand why you hate Indians to the core? In every incident you find Indians are wrong and Chinese are correct.
Be honest and tell the truth isn’t it Chinese occupied Tibet?

I wish RAW is as powerful as you portray

    • Moin Ansari says:

      Ms. Gaiwad:

We present all points of view. Our last article on Eastern Turkistan was critical of the heavy handedness shown in Urumqui. This article simply discusses the Chinese point of view towards Bharat.

Bharat has occupied Hydrabad, Kashmir, Sikkim, Junagarh and manvadar, and wants to occupy Lanka, Bangaldesh, Bhutan and Pakistan.

Tibet is part of China. Even Delhi accpets the fact that Tibet belongs to China

  3. kumargold09 says:

    Dear moin
Hope your sayings come out to be true .Raw should have been stronger than CIA ,ISI MOSSAD etc. Should have arranged eradication of Azhar Massood , Saed and Daud etc. which is first priority.Chinese terrorist were traced to Pakistani training outfit as usual . Gordon Brown says all terrorist problems have Pakistani connection . Sane people will not be mislead . Only person to be misled are who beleive sept.11 was caused by Israel and USA .
Keep on writing, now we enjoy your paranoia about India , hatred etc .Hope you make good fortune out of this who likes it.

    • Moin Ansari says:

More than 60% of Americans don’t believe the official story about 911. A majority of Americans oppose the war in Afghanistan. China has clearly blamed Bharat for the problems in Tibet which are allied with the Xinjiang militants.

Your opinion is to be weighed against the Peoples Daily. Please take it up with the Chinese.

I am stunned & over joyed to hear that Urumqui had to with indians. Some time later i fear you may end up saying [...]
[...], come to India. We will welcome with open arms. You should understand what is India.Once you visit, feel, see india from kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Junagarh to Assam you will come to know. It is once in a life experince. We have every thing here. Thats why you have so much write for us.You come to our country , see it, then you may understand as to how to write about India. India is mother of South Asia

    • The Editors says:

Valmik: Inability to read is a serious impediment in life. The article reports a respectable official Chinese Daily which makes the accusation.

Your glee at the Indian terror in China shows us your mentality.

There are certain commentators which disagree with us but add tremendous knowledge and information to the site. Others just vandalize the comments section.

There are many members of our team from Bharat. Almost the entire editorial board has visited Bharat–we distinctly remember Gharibabad, the lines of defecating men and women along the train tracks, and the pullulating millions on the sidewalks. No surprises here. Your comments for the past several months have not added one iota of information that we could put in the bank–just flame baits and abuse.

      South Asia doesn’t like step-mothers.

  5. The Editors says:

Your flame baits in broken unformatted English have not elucidated anyone with any knowledge about anything. We usually learn from intelligent comments and many times have used well written comments in our articles.

Your excuses for Gharibabad are pathetic–while Bharat buys $11 Billion (and climbing) worth of planes that it cannot manufacture. No civilized society deficates on airports–I have traveled the world–not even in Sub-Sharan Africa.

You simply post nonsense under different names.

Never Ex-Hindus and never Ex-Indians. Even of those that were is a badge of honor–ofr you it is a badge of disrespect–for saved ones it is a joyous day.

Since you have failed in your endeavors–are you going to leave us

    Wow! Great news. Thanks
