Even before the Psephocratic rituals had been consummated in Delhi the armies of prevaricator and the Uncle Toms had come out of the woodwork like roaches–making all sorts of nonsensical claims about the Slumdog country. INDIA: Reality of “Slumdog’s” extreme poverty in Indian cities irks Hindus living in Bollywood dreams. Certain pseudologisthave been hired by Delhi to spread a pre-packaged message about the elections in Bharat. ”They” are all out in full force masquerading as analysts. Real India: Rodent infestations, Monkey barrels, Cow kines, Stray dog kennels, & Rat packs present in Delhi’s President House & ubiquitous in all Indian cities. The Rupert Murdock news media gives the Munchausen fabricators deep coverage to create the chimera and the mirage. Hunger in India worse than Bukino Faso. Bottom in Asia. Worst in South Asia. They are trying to put lipstick on a dirty pig and trying to hide the truth about Failed States
The euphoria of the elections is over, and India’s problems loom as large as ever — a growing gap between rich and poor, an unceasing pageant of farmer suicides, poverty and malnutrition and slums, a simultaneous hardening of the urban heart. And oh, did we mention the Naxal Swat(h) — the tribal belt which spans the states of Jharkhand, Orissa, Chattisgarh and Andhra? Here, as the Newsweek correspondent Sudip Mazumdar wrote recently, the writ of the government is zero to non-existent, where kidnappings (Mazumdar’s own brother-in-law was seized) and mutilations are as prevalent … in the brisk business of extortion. Add that old reliable, Kashmir, throw in the North East, and recall the report that some 150 of the newly elected MP’s have some criminal connection and you can see why Indians have before them a full plate, of problems if not food. How long to extripate penury from india? 300 years! Notwithstanding the utter garbage propagated by Indian born Builderberger and Pakistanphobe, Fareed Zakaria, the recent elections in Bharat (aka India) have once again shown the world that only a small section of the society owns and operates India Inc. Indian penury: The reality vs. Bollywood’s (Pornywood) marketing gloss: UNICEF report on the reality of malnutrition & penury. Zakaria’s bogus panglossian claptrap can go only so far to hide the fact that the country boasts 50 million widows who are incarcerated in temples and sold as prostitutes, and that widows still show up in the trauma centers of Delhi, Mumbai, Kokota as burn victims of Sati (a practice that forces the surviving wife to be burned on the funeral pyre with the husband. Women harassed in “Incredible India”: Female genocide-Persistent ogling, heckling by Indian men. GENDER MURDER:-10 million baby girls killed before & after birth: Female gender genocide is destroying male female ratio in India
Mr. Goebells Zakaria, is a one man propaganda machine propped up by the obvious. He has the gall and the temerity to compare penury stricken, caste infested Bharat with a countries that actually have power? Bharat is worse off on the hunger index than Burkino Faso!
The only thing that has changed in India is that with serious endorsement from a failed, global capitalist system that decimated the economy in the U.S. putting millions of working-class Americans in jeopardy, new-generation India is now avidly anti-poor, anti-social-spending, and rabidly pro-personal-wealth with an arrogant, individualistic lifestyle; the only difference between the U.S. and India now is that while the U.S. does have some safeguards against a totally unchecked moral disintegration of the powerful upper class, India does not. That’s scary!
If this election were of substantive issues — issues which big-name journalists deliberately suppressed — we’d talk about the failure of the Manmohan Singh government to protect Indians from terrorism and war — we’d expect at least that discussion held having the Kashmir and Mumbai memories been so fresh. But it didn’t happen. Nobody talked about the thousands of farmers committed suicide in India in recent years; surely, Guiness Book would not include that as a world record! Countercurrents
The Psephocratic rituals did nothing to eleviate the problems of 75% of the population that ekes out a living at less than $2 per day. Khumb Mela: India’s 60 million filthy naked Hindu males. The 450 million Untouchables remain untouchable slaves. Intoxicated India, deaf and blind to internal schisms–unable to instrospect & resolve its huge race, caste, religious problems Murder of 10 million Indian girl babies: Before & right after birth. Why is the media silent? The 450 million Dalits, millions of Communists, Naxalites (who control 40% of the land mass of Bharat) and 150 million Muslims need not apply. The strongs of power remain in the Nehru family. Sonia Gandi rules the country as if it is her private fiefdom. Two years ago, when the INC was in trouble, milions of Rupees were brought into parliament in bags and distributed. Mr. Singh is called a “kursi-warmer” keeping the seat warm for the next Nehru in line. The Singh Doctrine for Akhand Bharat Fails
He [Manmohan Singh] was initially appointed prime minister by the Italian-born Congress leader Sonia Gandhi in 2004, to avoid controversies over her foreign origin that might have surfaced had she sought to lead the government personally. The political grandee andthe learned economist have since built a strong relationship, with Gandhi remaining the center of power as Congress party leader and UPA chairperson(see India’s dynamic political duo, Asia Times Online, Nov 7, 2009).
Cracks in India: 40% of “India” not under Government control. Blaming the ISI cannot dampen the 89 Indigineous Indian insurgencies . Mr. Manmohan Singh has done little on the issues of justice for the victims of 1984 and 2002. His critics claim that Manmohan Singh has never won an electoral contest. They also point to the fact that he has no popular support. It is a fact that he has never won a Lok Sabha (Lower house of parliament) position. All positions were given to him when he was appointed by the Congress Party to the Rajya Sabha (Upper House of parliament–equivalent to the Senate). Mr. Singh does not a represent a threat to the Gandhi family because he has no popular base. He can be brought in and discarded at a whim of Sonai Gandhi and the cabal that rules Delhi. As soon as Rahul Gandhi is ready, Mr. Singh will be honorably discharged. All indications are that Mr. Singh’s days are numbered and the discharge will occur within the next 5 years.
Even Wall Street Journal rather candidly admitted that for Indian media, it was a “non-issue” election; to onlookers like me, it was all propaganda for Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka. It worked!
Glories now galore on Manmohan Singh the “best prime minister” in post-Non-Alignment era for his “efficient handling” of Indian affairs. But Mr. Singh — however erudite — couldn’t even be prime minister in 2004 had Sonia Gandhi, the Indian establishment’s first choice, not been denied the top executive position because of legalities never fully disclosed. Singh was a compromise choice Congress style because Rahul was too young to be the PM. My belief is, Congress gradually will throw Singh away and crown the new prince, perpetuating the dynasty. We say, “Long Live India! Long Live Crown Prince Rahul!” Countercurrents. Partha Banerjee is a labor, media and rights activist in New York. Dynastic “democracy” has one again allowed the Indian National Congress (INC) to form a government. Delhi “elections”: Another missed opportunity. The BJP, Bharati Janata Party faced defeat. The Manuwadi Hindu extremists Replaced Hinduism in Buddhist lands: Today they use the Safron Swastika flag instead of the tri-colored flag of India to enforce hinduunity.org
The election has ended Advani’s prime ministerial ambitions. He first offered to quit as leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, because he knows that the RSS will soon remove him. But he’s changed his mind temporarily.
However, that won’t resolve the party’s leadership crisis or succession problems. The BJP isn’t about to embrace moderation. It’s more likely to adopt a hard Hindutva line. After all, that line paid it dividends in Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, and even more crucially, in Karnataka, its only southern base. But that risks ghettoisation.
The BJP remains well-entrenched in the Central Indian tribal belt stretching from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh all the way to Jharkhand and Western Orissa. It has also sunk shallow roots in parts of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh.
Only a determined, well-focussed and spirited grassroots campaign can dislodge it. It isn’t easy to imagine the Congress summoning up the will to mobilise that campaign. The News. BJP hammered, Congress boosted, Left warned, Saturday, May 23, 2009, Praful Bidwai
India’s budget– fit for a superpower. Many Indologists, and Political Scientiss don’t want to call Bharat (aka India) a “democracy“. They call it a Psephocracy– a system which formally forces the masses to accept the elites right to maintain the status quo. In Bharat it it is the Brahman elite. The Third Front (Muslims, Dalits and Maoists/Naxalites/Communists) have faced electoral defeats. Amnesty International Report on “Horrid India”
The main reason for the Front’s failure is that it lacked ideological, political or programmatic cohesion. Even H D Deve Gowda, who launched the Front’s inaugural rally, has joined the Congress-led ruling coalition.
The Left must learn its lessons and return to grassroots work as it rethinks its policies andrevamps its strategy. Or, it will fall by the wayside.
Bharat had an opportunity to shatter the old paradigms and build a better South Asia. But it was not to be. The Electorate chose the same old bigoted politicians that have maintained the status quo–the same corruption, the same plutocrats that perpetuate the caste system and maintain an apartheid society with a huge gulf between the haves and the have-nots. India Balkanizing? Naxalite insurrection widening cracks in deep cavities
The voters had an opportunity to make a difference by electing the third front–but they didn’t, because they couldn’t vote for a Dalit woman in alliance with Muslims and the downtrodden who identify themselves as communists, Maoists, and Naxalites. “Chamari hoon, kunwari hoon, tumhari hoon”. Can Mayawati pull together a Muslim-Left-Dalit alliance in India?
Mumbai (AsiaNews) – The biggest loser in the last Indian elections was the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) and the reason seems to be that just as in the past, it wanted to use the intercultural and religious tensions (as in Orissa) in order to win. After the results of the elections were declared, the general secretary of BJP, Arun Jaitley admitted that “Even in comparison to our performance in 2004 elections (when they lost), the number of seats have furthermore decreased” from 138 to 116. Not only that, as compared to the last Lok Sabha (parliament) elections, there has been a dip of about 4 to 5 percentage points in the national vote share. This fact should prompt some serious reflection about the direction this party wants to take. Asian News
Indian Secularism–in the light of the Sachar Report. There is a general perception that the so called “secular” Congress is better for Pakistan and will be better for peace in South Asia.
Was Congress ever a secular party when it comes to religion or caste? Do some research on how it used Muslim League in Kerala, Dalits in Karnataka, Orissa and Andhra, the so-called untouchables in Madhya Pradesh, U.P. and Bihar, and played the Christian card in Northeastern provinces, for decades, to sustain power (and to trash the allies later on). Congress party “leaders” first showed how to use black money in Indian politics, and how to buy dissidents from rival groups. Youth Congress came into being by its rampant hooliganism in the seventies, with blessings from Sanjay Gandhi. Has it really changed?.
It is pedagogical to look at a sampling of the glimpses of history.
1) The Indian National Congress (INC) was in power in 1947. On the eve of the British departure there was about 570 states in South Asia. British Indian empire nly encompassed 40% of the land mass of South Asia. The rest were independent sates with their own currency, their own flag and their own laws. The case of Nizam Of Hyderabad, he was given full protocol atpar with King George the 5th. Mr. Nehru threatened all the states to join Bharat. He declared that the states which would not join Bharat (aka India) would be considered states. Junagarh, Manvadarh had decided to join Pakistan. They were over run. A forged document was shown for the annexation of Kashmir. Delhi now claims that the article of annexation is now lost
2) Infatuated by empire, the INC has perpetuated the myth of Akhand Bharat in trying to destabilize Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, Sri Lanka, Maldives, China, and Pakistan. It tried to use the appellation of “Failed Sates” to describe all of her neighbors in order to take them over.
3) The INC broke the backbone of the Muslims of Bharatby taking over all their lands. For a thousand years, the Muslims had owned large tracks of land. The Nizam owned a huge chunk of territory. Bhopal was owned by Muslims, as were bengal and oterh major areas. The Muslims were handed zamindari abolishment bonds and left landless. The cultural centers of excellence in Lucknow, Delhi, Hyderabad, Ahmendabad were systematically destroyed and decimated–all under the watch of the INC.
4) No country had been dismembered since the World Wars. It was the INC that created the Mukti Bahni and assisted the secession of East Pakistan. Created in the name of democracy, all opposition parties were banned, and Bangladesh was handed over to one party rule run by Rakhi Bahni under an Indian General. On August 14th, 1975 Bengali patriots buried the farce of a secular Bengal deep in the Bay of Bengal.
3) Since 2001 Delhi has been double dealing in Kabul staging attacks on Pakistan through mercenaries.
4) The INC threatened all out war in 2008. About 80% of the Bharati forces are arrayed on the Pakistani border, including tank division, Artillery divisions, and planes which are on a picnic at the air bases in Halwara, Adampur, Jamnagar and new ones in Ladakh.
5) In 2009 the newly elected puppet Prime Minsiter Mr. Manmohan Singh doesn’t want to talk to Pakistan
Under these condition, why would any sane person think that the INC would be good for Pakistan. If the Bharati electorate had chosen the “Third Front” made up of Dalits, Muslims and Naxalite/Maoiss/Communists things would have been different. However the Dalit Muslim coalition has been target since the days of the Jinnah-Ambedekar alliance. Mohammad Ali Jinnah had brought Mr. Ambadekar into the election process and supported him.
SouthAsia is stuck with the Congress’s imperialistic ambitions to destroy sri Lanka, destabilize Nepal, conquer the Maldives, absorb Bangladesh, take over Bhutan and Sikkim, rule Afghanistan, and mess up Pakistan. Congress is great at tokenism, so it will put forward a face of diversity while making sure the concentration of power remains, where it has always remained…in the Nehru family.
EU says “India is ruled by castes not laws. Bharati state machinery supports license to kill Dalits. Life will not change for the incarcerated Kashmiris, the Naxalites who control 40% of the territory, the 150 million Muslims, or the 450 million Dalits. More than 75% of Indians earn less than $2 per day. So much for the Superpower…more a Slumdog third world dump. Reality of Slumdog’s extreme poverty irks Indians living in Bollywood dreams.
The INC will continue to wage economic and politcal warfare in Pakistan, Lanka, Nepal and Maldives. It will continue to push for Akhand Bharat. The INC is a millstone on the neck of Asia. It will continue to spend billions on weapon systems which will force its neighbors to invest in minimal deterrence. The INC survives on keeping the Pakistan bogey alive. It thrives on it. It will continue to try to bleed Pakistan in Swat and Afghanistan becuase it has unrealistic global ambitions and nefarious regional designs.

There are many different criteria for grading Failed states. This site lists India as the state on the top of the list with Israel as the 2nd runners up. | Failed States |
The Failed State: India most at risk
March 19, 2009
This year, Bharat (aka India) has achieved the ignominious and unenviable distinction of being the state most at risk of failure. In many ways, Bharat has failed already, as the government lacks control of large tracks of the country. The loose coalition of various parties has led a corrupt and incompetent cabalof politicians that controls capital. Large tracks of Bharati territory are not in control of the Federal government. The government is not in control of the Naxalites, Kashmir, Assam and the states known as “The Seven Sisters“. The government troops have been routed and cannot control various states. The fighting has produced a clear victor–and it is not the Indian government. The country’s caste ethnic, and religious chaos continues unabated in the unruly states, while militants stalk the jungles and remote areas. The fighting has successfully produced is a refugee nightmare, with thousands homeless in Gujarat.

India’s disorder is generally eclipsed by the humanitarian disaster in Assam, Kashmir and Gujarat, a situation notable for its remarkable lack of progress. The spillover effects of this troubled region continue to pull Bangladesh andits neighbors closer to the brink, withworsening refugee crises around the region andescalating skirmishes between rebels in Nepal and Sri Lanka. All told, the South Asian Subcontinent is home to India–largest catastrophe on the planet. Bharat has consistently stayed on the top of the list of the failed states. The country ranking on this year’s index reflects the country’s out-of-control inflation, high unemployment, and the fact that thousands flee to states far away from their home. The country’s fortunes, further spoiled by this year’s events in Mumbai are likely to continue to suffer before Indians can expect a respite.

The height of the U.S. military surge in Afghanistan was a key factor in this year’s analysis of that country. Andthough India’s score improved slightly, the gains that one might hope for—those that reflect fundamental, long-term changes—did not occur. The desperate predicament of millions people driven from their homes, the abysmal state of public services, and the discord among sectarian factions have shown no realimprovement. The incremental security and economic progress that has occurred are dependent on tenuous, short-term factors that could unravel at any time. Eager to cobble together a fragile peace, the Hinduvata has armed dozens of new Hindu militia groups that could later turn their guns on the Indian government, their religious rivals, or the Centralgovernment in many states still regarded as occupiers. India’s economy has improved only moderately, thanks largely to the spike in multinational investment which is now very jittery. In short, progress in India last year was negligible at best and deeply susceptible to reversalshould the country suffer the kindof shock—a food shortage, a high-level assassination, an attack that unleashes communal hatreds—that has exposed so many states’ deep vulnerabilities in recent months.
Of course, the countries appearing among the 60 weakest states are not always there because of unforeseen disasters. Israel’s inability to fully integrate its Muslim minority, its sharp economic disparities, and the increased factionalization of its political leaders did not arise overnight. And though India owes much of its ranking to conditions in the Northeast, the Northweast and the Southeast, the continued hardships in various states cannot be divorced from the stability of India itself. It shows that the fates of neighbors can be just as critical to the fortunes of otherwise stable states. And that is a reality that should shock no one.
