10 gunmen in India kept the entire city of Mumbai hostage for several days. The MARCOS commandos that fell like frozen Turkeys on the Chabad Center from a helicopter became the image of incompetence. The hostages in the Chabad Center could not be rescued because the MARCOS commandos could not quietly climb a three storied building and storm the terrorists. It took the MARCOS commandos three trips to land on the three storied short building. According to Israeli reports Tel Aviv was not at all happy with the performance of the Indian military and claimed that most of the hostages were actually killed by the Indian commandos. The same story of incompetence and inefficiency raged in Mumbai, at the Oberoi and the Taj. While the insurgents ran circles around the Black Cat Commandos, the security forces were impotent and could not save the lives of the hostages. The Indian establishment has claimed that the attacker came from across oceans a distance of several hundred miles. If that is to be taken as true then is points to the total failure of the Indian Navy, the Indian coast Guards and the Indian security forces in Mumbai
In Lahore the vigilance of he security forces destroyed the plans of the Indian terrorists. The city was not taken hostage and the nefarious designs of the Bharati terrorist were thwarted. All their bombs near Liberty market were disabled and the IEDs implanted were not allowed to function. 12 gunmen in Lahore were prevented from taking anyone hostage. The Lankan cricketers are safe and sound in their homes. Several Pakistani Police gave up their lives to save the Lankans. This is not the first time that Pakistanis have given blood for Lanka and it won’t be the last.
The gunmen were masked and carried on a military style operation which was unsuccessful hostage taking attempt. What were the masks hiding? These terrorists were dressed in jeans and sneakers–not regular clothes worn by the Pakistani common man. The prompt action of the Pakistani security personnel saved the lives of all the Lankans and they were whisked away to safety. The Indian terroirsts obviously came from the Indian Consulates in Afghanistan and slipped across the porous border. the could also have been brought in through the Afghan or Indian Embassies in Islamabad
The coach containing the Sri Lankan cricket team was ambushed when the terrorists who came in two white coloured vans when the coach and the the other vehicles coming to the Gaddafi Stadium were slowing down at a round about. Eye witnesses said a rocket was fired at the coach but it missed. A grenade thrown underneath the vehicle apparently exploded seconds after the coach went over the grenade. But the coach showed heavy damage by bullet marks of the AK-47 rifles which were constantly fired at it.
The Police was also able to discover a large haul of arms and ammunition from the vehicles in which the terrorists came.
Sri Lankan authorities said, none of the injuries received by the cricketers were life threatening.
Batsmen Tharanga Paranavitana and Thilan Samaraweera suffered gunshot wounds, according to the Sri Lankan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Four more players — team captain Kumar Sangakkara, Ajantha Mendis, Suranga Lakmal, Thilina Thushara — and assistant coach Paul Fabrece were reportedly hurt by glass shrapnel.
The terrorists who came to attack the Sri Lankan team also had prepared other methods of attacking the Sri Lankan team. Pakistani security men defused one car bomb set to explode near the Liberty Square where the ambush took place and another at Firdus carpark close to the place. The two car bombs have been defused by the Police bomb disposal unit. The Lankan press and blogs are all claiming that India is behind the terror attack in Lahore. It is beyond comprehension that anyone can deny the clear and total involvement of the Indians in this attack either through their own men or thorough their LTTE proxies.

Suspected gunmen firing in Lahore
The state owned Independent Television Network of Sri Lanka, the country’s premier television channel said in its night time news bulletin that the country’s separatist terrorists, the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) who are currently engaged with the island nation’s security forces could be behind the attack on the Sri Lankan cricketers in Lahore.
Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, the cabinet spokesman said , “Since the LTTE is connected with all other terrorist groups in the world this could be their work with the assistance of another terrorist group.”
The attack has shocked the sports world since this is the first time sportsmen have been directly attacked since the Munich Olympic massacre of Israeli athletes by the Palestenian terrorists.
Yapa further said he wholeheartedly condemned the attack on the cricketers as a cowardly act by the terrorists.
During the morning hours of March 3 , CCTV cameras near the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore show that at least 12 gunmen who came in two vehicles attacked the coach carrying the Sri Lanka national team of cricketers who were arriving for a test match with AK-47 rifles, rocket launchers and grenades. Altogether 35 people were injured including six cricketers with a coach and killed five Pakistani policemen.
The country’s President Mahinda Rajapaksa, who was on a three day state visit to Nepal , despatched his foreign minister Rohitha Bogollagama to Pakistan to arrange for the immediate and safe return of the injured cricketers to Sri Lanka and cut short his visit to Nepal to return to Sri Lanka .
Minister Yapa said that the incident has certainly not harmed the close friendship with Pakistan . He thanked Pakistan for care it has shown for the cricketers.
In a separate statement issued from Kathmandu President Mahinda Rajapaksa condemned the act of terrorism on the Sri Lankan cricketers.
After arriving in Pakistan Foreign Minister Rohitha Bogollagama said it is indeed a sad day for cricket. India ’s External affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee also issued a statement condemning the act.

The umpires are complaining that they were not given the SAME level of police protection as the cricketers.
Initial reports also indicate that the policemen were armed with nothing more that batons.
After any such incident, it is always possible to review security and make improvements based on the expereince gained. I think most people would agree that there should have been more policenmen and they should have been better armed. It is a lesson learnt.
No Pakistani has reason to feel ashamed by the actions of the police. Six brave policemen, a driver and a traffic warden lost their lives but ALL the visitors were saved. That is the crucial point. Had there been no police presence and had the driver panicked then there is not the remotest chance any of the cricketers or umpires would be alive today.
In Mumbai, after hours of thumb twiddling, we saw one botched rescue attempt after another by the Indian elite squads. Dozens of civilians paid the price due to Indian incompetence.
The question is how did the 12 islamic terrorists escape from that spot and the pakistani police was not firing at them, now let us see how competent is the pakistani police and intelligence to prove the indian hand in this attack, if they really have any proof then this should be taken to the UN and proved, as we proved the pakistani hand in the mumbai attacks to the world.

Well ……. MOIN …. what India has proved after 26/11 is:
1. That Pakistan is the epicentre of world terorism. Not that all Pakistani’s r terrorists, but that there is state complicity to certail extent. Think, you are not reading enough ……. almost all heads of state agree on one thing that Pakistan is a centre for terrorist activities …….. But I agree that Pakistan is a victim too ……. but who else can help if one is not willing to help himself ???
2. Notice the reaction of the world to 26/11 & 3/3 …….. while in the immediate aftermath of 26/11, all major dimlomats & heads of state were in India to condemn & show solidarity. After 3/3, no such show of solidarity for Pakistan. No one bothers to do so …….. why ??? In fact the Australian PM Kevin Rudd has asked for an explanation of how this happened in spite of being promised fool proof security.
3. Pakistan had to admit that the terrorists masterminding the 26/11 were Pakistanis & that the plot was hatched on Pakistani soil. The video and the news report does not shed light on all the activities. Within five minutes of the attack, the elite Police Force commandos were on the scene and many of the terrorists were killed. Self flagellation is a favorite past time of the Pakistani press. While the operation did not represent optimal efficiency, the results are what matters.
All Sri Lankan players were sent back home safe (with minor injuries). Compare to Mumbai or Munich, this was a humongous success.

Rather than join the international community in condemning the Lahore attacks, Indian government is once again making futile attempts to get Pakistan islolated. Forget it guys, it will never happen. A stable and secure Pakistan is vital to the the interests of the worlds only two superpowers – USA and China.
Bharati blogs are full of some fantastic and amusing ways to destabilise Pakistan. There is talk of hitting Pakistani economy by undermining “major” Pakistani exports – “Basmati rice and cotton”! Hmm what about export of Pakistani tanks, fighter planes and world class surgical instruments?
Another classic that made me suffer uncontrollable fits of laughter was the suggestion to “offer Indian passports to Pakistani scientists, engineers and elites”! I wonder if these will be the very scientists and engineers who have turned their backs on highly paid positions in the West to work for their belovedd homeland? I can really see Pakistani elites tripping over eachother over this incredible offer if ever becomes available!

I was in Islamabad yesterday.Couldn believe my eyes to see the level of progress and construction going on from Isb 2 Lahore n Azad Kashmir.I m usin 2meg broadband in a village n their were 4 leadin companies who were offerin B.band in my village.It was a difficult choice.Same was the case with mobile connection as tele com sector has grown at rocket speed.Mob internet mms wap online bankig,Barclays Bank branches,Royal bank of scotland branches,Pizza huts,mcdonalds,kfc’s,imported car show rooms etc they were all enough to shock me up.I saw many foriegners cyclin in Isb n trackin in foot hills of Himalayas.There is no paniky bout recession or suicide bombin.Its business as usual here.I have made lots of videos which will come on utube soon.Glad 2 see COW PEE stinkin Hindu’s stil gettin f*****
