India Inc. has failed! In multitude acts of defiance, Assam is flying Pakistani flags. Minorities in India from Kashmir, to Gujarat to Orrissa use the Pakistani flag as a means to protest the Indian atrocities and to show sympathy with Pakistan and allegiance to the idea represented by the Crescent and Star–freedom from Brahman domination. The Assamese are pledging allegiance to Pakistan. Five districts in Assam are flying the Pakistani flag.

Udalguri, Assam, October 4: The toll in continuing clashes between Bodos and illegal Bangladeshi migrants in Udalguri district rose to 10 on Saturday as eight burnt bodies were found while two persons were shot dead by the police when they were trying to torch houses in the district. District Deputy Commissioner George Basumatary was transferred and Superintendent of Police Anup Kumar Singh suspended for allegedly failing to control the situation, official sources said.
The eight burnt bodies were found from Bodo villages of Sonaripara and Jhargaon villages, under Udalguri police station, which were attacked by illegal migrants with bows and arrows in the wee hours.
Besides setting ablaze houses in the two villages, several other dwellings in a neighbouring hamlet were also torched, the sources said.
The police shot dead two persons when they were trying to set fire to Bodo houses at Bhakatpara where a shoot-at-sight order is in vogue, they said adding about 50 persons were injured in the clashes so far.
Two bodies were found on Friday from a village under Rowta police station even as arson and looting in neighbouring Darrang district forced the administration to impose curfew in Dalgaon and Dhola on Friday and in Udalguri on Saturday.
Over 25 serious burn injury victims were shifted to the Gauhati Medical College Hospital while others were admitted to local hospitals.
Meanwhile, media persons saw a Pakistani flag in Sonaripara and Mohanpur villages and took photographs of them. Local television channels also ran footage of the flags. Officials and security forces denied any knowledge of the presence of the flags. Express India report

Laden's secure mountain hideout?

[...] Why are the Assamese flying Pakistani flags? Express India report [...]
I am from Assam. I know how Assamese people are, how they talk and how they look like. Due to vote bank politics of any Ruling Party, Assam has been reduced to Greater Bangladesh. The number of Bangladeshi immigrants is definitely over 50%. The percentage of Indians in Assam, not just Assamese people must be less than 50%. In case riots and violence breaks out, which may not be too far off, we indigenous Assamese people will become the Kashmiri Pandits of the 2000s. I am waiting for that day, dreading and fearing, and like the rest of my Assamese brethern, either doing nothing about it, or incapable of doing anything about it. Voting rights have been reduced to a joke. Way too late now to do anything. Waiting helplessly for the stray bomb shrapnel to enter my body and kill me.
My life is cheap. There has been 2 bomb blasts in my city Guwahati in 8 days. 2 in the year 2009 as of 9th January. It doesnt matter we had Padmashrees in the family, army officers, fighter pilots, professors, architects and alumni from the IITs and the IIMs. Our lives are worth as much as cattle. Terrorists can slaughter us as and when they feel like. I am like the sacrificial goat at the Kamakhya temple. Okay, I am safe this time. Maybe next time I will die. Thank God I didnt die this time. What is worse is the fear, that it might be next time.
Thank you for responding to our article on “Pakistani flags in Assam”. All our symapthies for you Mr. Borah. May you and your famliy live a long and prosperous life and may your children enjoy a long life also. Keep us posted. The bad policies of the Indian National Congress and successive governments in Bharat have led to huge human tragedies. Assam is in rebellion and does not want to be part of Bharat.
The original Bengal included Bihar, Orrissa and Assam and there was a Muslim majority in this Bengal. Successive regimes kept on dividing “Bengal” to create enclaves for other ethnicities based on religion.
The Bangladeshis did not cross the border, the broder crossed them This is part of the unfairness of the Radcliff Commission’s bad policy. Assam should have been part of Pakistan/Bangladesh in 1947. “Indiansization” or Assam and the Norhteast has not worked.
The silly boundry of the Norhteast in carving out a chicken neck corridor for Bharat is an anomoly of history that cannot stand the test of time. Bangladesh was established on the basis of Bengali nationalsism than all Bengalis should live under that secular flag.
All minority rights have to be protected in Brohit Bangladesh as well as Assam.
Sir, The report clearly identifies the clashes to be between Ethnic assamese population and bangladeshi imigrants. If some illegal imegrants fly pakistani flags in India it may signify end of bangladesh in their iconography but how can it be termed as end of India???
