The Dalits who convert to Islam are branded as terrorists and charged under POTA and other draconian laws. As “terrorists” the ex Dalits face fake encounters, torture and death by the Indian agencies. The Maoist belt from Nepal running down to Andhra Pradesh is made of millions of Dalits (figures range from 250 million to 450 million). They are up in arms against the central government of India and control more than 40% of the Indian land mass.

AHMEDABAD: Mohammed Umar Kabira is actually Ashokbhai Kalabhai on the payrolls of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). He is among those picked up by the crime branch from Juhapura in connection with the July 26 serial bomb blasts in Ahmedabad.
A Dalit, Kabira converted to Islam five years ago and works as a manhole cleaner with AMC. He was released on Friday night after being in custody for 38 days, only to be called back on Saturday morning. Police has assured his wife Sumaiya (formerly Parulben) that he would return on Monday.
Sumaiya became a Muslim only after Kabira threatened to divorce her. When she finally converted, the couple changed the names of their children too – Shweta to Kulsum, Saloni to Taslim, Khushbu to Maria and Akash to Abdullah. Police has stumbled upon new conversion cases during the course of their probe.
This seems to have been inspired by Abu Bakar, born in a Dalit family as Jivanbhai Ramjibhai. Bakar works as a masonry contractor and used to convince other Dalits to embrace Islam.
While Kabira embraced Islam soon after the 2002 Gujarat riots, his brother Kishore, also an AMC employee, became a Muslim only a year ago on his brother’s insistence. He has changed his name to Zafar. “Now, even our relatives who are still Hindus are ridiculing our decision,” said Zafar whose wife Geeta is now Ameena and son Sachin now called Yusuf.
The crime branch has claimed before metropolitan court while seeking remand of the accused that SIMI members were involved in conversions and they indoctrinated these new converts into Jihad. Abdul Rehman Shaikh (earlier Jayanti Parmar) is another person who remained in police custody for a while after the blasts. Shaikh, a scrap dealer who shifted from Shahpur to Juhapura after embracing Islam, was picked up by the crime branch on August 12 and released after seven days.

The fact remains that 5 million Mulsims were expelled from Bharat in 1947 so that the land lines to Kashmir could be secured (Ferozepur, Gurdaspur), and the cultural centers of Islam (Delhi, Agra, Lucknow and Hyderabad) could be destroyed. Bharat could not tolerate a Muslim majority in Delhi.

This is a great lie. This is the only group which has 100% litracy for at least few centuries. They had run the moghal civil service via Persian and then british govt via persian, urdu,and english. They have produced tons of top civil servants and high class educationists. Great swami viveka nanda was a kayastha.
As for quoting stats re muslim or hindus in pak or india , most are wrong and politically motivated,ONe thing though stands out is the greatest feature of hinduism which ” defends ” unequal human rights” of humans and is against ” equality of man” a shear violation of UNO charters. Indians accept untouchability even now as part of their core religion. Almost all Farmers who commit suicides ( abt 100,oo in 2009) are dalits or lower caste.
Kayasthas likes of shrivastavas, Saxenas, Ghoshs etc have greatest survival instinct. They adusts to foreign rulers quickly and provide them with great hospitality and run their administration effeciently. This is very clear from some some 1000 yrs muslim rule.They seem to have great future in any reorganized south asia whenever that comes through.
They belong to top class of hindu class system and due to this have been targeted and hated by Brahmins. In popular litrature they are famous as” half muslim” and speake a very chaste urdu even now, Populat Hero Amita Bachhan is a famous Shrivastava Kayastha of Allahabad.

Yes dear Moin sahab, Shrivastavas belong to scribe caste famous as Kayasthe. In 4 castes system as detailed in “urdu/hindi an artificial divide” they are excluded. The origin remains clouded and not mentioned in Manu’s law book. THey come to day light only during moghal rule. Famous Raja Todar mal the finace minister of Akbar was a kayasth. There are mythical and fictional ideas abt their origin. My own research and my closest kayastha friends( of some 60 yrs) connect kayastha with the dravidian word ” kittu” which in ancient aramaic/arabic is inscriber or kutba makers. Oldest writing was always inscription. From this oldest root are words such as kitaab, katib etc that slowly diffused into India with mesopotamian migrants farmers beginnig 7000 BC. It is well accepted that writing and writters are recent ,more recent import from mideast. Akkadian scribes called kitu/katib were present every where in entire greater mesopotamia, turkey ,greece and egypt from 4000 BC to 300 BC– a fact accepted by all scholars ( see my book’s chapter 16). Kayastha thus were Akkadian arab scribes, a late comers and became a hated group by already esatablished hindu system which had memorization but no writing. This perhaps happened in abt 700 BC after which asokan inscription appeared in abt 300 BC..Kayastha coming from mideast never gave up meat eating. Their surnames are Saxena, Varma, srivastava, Hajela, Khare, Ghosh, Sarkar etc.
As said before they are most litrate group in not only india but the world. Muslims too have a kayasthe group ( google muslim kayasthe and see) and some times have surnames Siddiki, Farooki, Usmani etc.
