Kashmir seh rishtaa kiyaa: La Ilaha Ill-Lal lah. Batt key raheh gaa Hindustaan. Kashmir Banaigaa PakistanThe Kashmiris brutalized by the Indian Occupation struggling for their freedom and joining Pakistan
“I strongly condemn the reign of terror let loose by the Indian forces against the besieged people of Kashmir,” said separatist leader Mohammed Yasin Malik
The tenuous Indian hold on Kashmir is fragile and may not be able to withstand the street power of the people. If the Kashmiris decide to begin marching towards freedom and Muzaffargarh, there is precious littlethe Indians can do about it. With world camera in full focus on the situation, the thugs of BJP can surely blockade the Jammu-Kashmir roads, but in doing so they push Kashmir towards Pakistan. If the Advani hooligans back down, this gives further impetus to the Kashmiri struggle. Nothing succeeds like success. Right now the bigotry and hate politics of the BJP has only one purpose, to roil the extremist Hinduists in the rest of India. This tactic has worked for them in the past. Breaking down the Babri Masjid propelled Vajpayee to the center stage and sent the Indian National Congress to the back benches of the Lok and Rjha Sabha.
The situation in Kashmir is very like the situation in East Germany. The Berlin Wall had crumbled from the inside–only the rest of the world did not know it. Similarly the Line of Control imposed by India has crumbled–only India does not know about it. The Kashmirisare testing the limits of of the Indian hold. They surprised themselves with their discovery. The Indian machinery and their forces are paper tigers.
The Indian hold on Kashmir will continue to deteriorate, until is finally collapses as a pile of rubble.
There are several factors for the rising insurgency in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Firstly, the slow pace of the peace process has frustrated the Kashmiris who want freedom now. The Kashmiris of Indian were impressed by the ideas presented by Pakistan to solve the Kashmiri knot. The cross border traffic would have eased tensions and cross-border trade would have improved the benefits for Kashmiris.
Secondly the Earthquake in Kashmir really opened the eyes of the Kashmiris in Indian Occupied Kashmir. One one side of the Line of Control the enitre Pakistani nation had galvanized to provide help to the Azad Kashmiris. 160 million people came to assist 1.5 million Kashmiri brethren. The pictures on TV were heart rendering. The Supply Chain from Karachi to AzadKashmir was clogged with private and government help for the Kashmiris. The Supply Chian from overseas Paksitanis and Muslims all over the world assisted the Azad Kashmiris in building their homes. There were no permanent refugees, and there was no colossal disease or after-the-earthquake-catastrophe. The help from the Pakistanis was in sharp contrast to the total apathy from the rest of India to the plight of Kashmiris in Indian Occupied Kashmir.
Thirdly, world events are stacked against Muslims. The Kashmiris see Pakistan on the front line and see RAW machinations against their mother country-Pakistan. This exacerbates the sense of alienation and frustration.
Fourthly, the events in Gujarat and the role of Mr. Modi in the genocide against the Mussalmans of Gujarat have left a deep impact on Indian Muslims across all ethnic boundaries. The pictures of raped and charred bodies of Indian Muslims cannot be forgotten–they are part of the deep imprint.

Fifthly the rise of Mahasaba Hinduvata extremism in Jammu has further aggravated the situation in Jammu but also in Kashmir. This RSS Shiv Sena BJP provocation continue on an ongoing basis, shattering the Bollywoods gloss– the thin vineer of “secularism” that only exists in Indian story books.
Sixthly the level of brutality by the Indian forces in the recent past has surpassed all levels, even by Indian standards. The backlash is severe and long lasting.
Seventhly the Indina propaganda of cross border activity is shattered in 2008 once again. The movement of course is totally indigenous and by all accounts was absolutely spontaneous brought around as a backlash to the extremist Hindus who wanted to provoke a vulnerable population and try to impose ethnic cleansing on them.
Eighthly, the Muslim world has awakened. No longer is it made up of vassal states. The Muslims have nuclear powers, Muslim states on the threshold of nuclear power and Muslim who have defeated the largest and most efficient armies in the world with low tech weapons and the dint of their courage.
Protestors in Jammu have been given a free hand, as Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Chairman Yaseen Malik aptly put it, “Protestors are playing a friendly match with the police.” The attack on the Greater Kashmir (GK) Jammu office at Gandhi Nagar has underlined and attested to the truth in Malik’s proclamation. On the contrary, police are manhandling the protestors in the Kashmir Valley and resorting to extreme measures to quell their protests. Syed Ali Safvi Tehran Times
According to a report, police in Srinagar have been using a “sophisticated and dangerous weapon” called Rudra -– which is only allowed to be used in military operations — on the unarmed peaceful protestors. This shows that the police and paramilitary forces have been using different modus operandi in the two regions.
India has to understand that holding on to Kashmir is a lost cause. They will save themselves a lot fo aggravation if Kashmir is given its freedom now ratter than when it is too late for the Indian Union.

India boasts about its tenets of secularism and democratic values, but it is just empty rhetoric that is not reflected in the realities on the ground. The world has seen how secularism and the “age-old history” of religious tolerance were trampled upon in Gujarat by the successors of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar’s ‘ideology of hate’. The seeds of communal hatred were sown by the members of the Hindu Mahasabha long ago, even before the very idea of Pakistan came into being.Syed Ali Safvi Teheran Times
Contrary to the common belief that Jinnah originated the two-nation theory, actually it was Savarkar who propounded the theory years before the Muslim League embraced the idea. Savarkar had commanded all the Muslims to leave ‘Bharat’ to pave the way for the establishment of Hindu Rashtra. When Jinnah introduced his two-nation theory, Savarkar announced, “I have no quarrel with Mr. Jinnah’s two-nation theory… It is a historical fact that Hindus and Muslims are two nations.”
“His (Savarkar’s) doctrine was Hindutva, the doctrine of Hindu racial supremacy, and his dream was of rebuilding a great Hindu empire from the sources of the Indus to those of the Brahmaputra. He hated Muslims. There was no place for them in the Hindu society he envisioned.” (Freedom at Midnight, by Dominique Lapierre and Larry Collins).
So the hate campaign against Muslims was well in place even before the partition of erstwhile British India. This and many other significant factors forced Jinnah to demand a separate nation for Muslims as he believed that Muslims would not be safe in India — a prophetic declaration indeed! There is no denying the fact that Jinnah was secular to the marrow and would never have wished to cut ties with India, but circumstances compelled him to do so. However, he had not harbored grudges against India or its leaders. He had kept his house on Malabar Hill, thinking he could weekend there, while running his country from Karachi on weekdays, but destiny had something else in store for the estranged neighbors of the Asia Partition.
Widespread protests test India’s hold on Kashmir SRINAGAR, Aug 14: Police shot dead a Muslim protester as huge crowds shouting “we want freedom” took to the streets of occupied Kashmir on Thursday over a land row that is testing New Delhi’s hold on the troubled Himalayan region.
Police have now killed at least 22 demonstrators this week and more than 500 people have been injured during some of the biggest protests since a separatist revolt against New Delhi broke out in the region 20 years ago.
Seven other demonstrators were wounded when police opened fire to disperse protesters in downtown Srinagar. Protesters torched a police vehicle and hoisted green flags in several areas of the occupied valley.
The row pits Muslims against Hindus in one of the toughest challenges facing Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s government since it took office in 2004.
India reacted angrily to a statement from the Organisation of the Islamic Conference expressing “deep concern over the deteriorating situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir.”

The Muslim world represeented by the Organization of Islamic Countries the OIC; The OIC condemned the violence on Kashmir
“OIC has once again chosen to comment upon Jammu and Kashmir and India’s internal affairs on which it has no locus standi (legal standing to intervene). We reject such comments,” India’s foreign ministry said late on Thursday.
In the Jammu region a Hindu activist committed suicide by swallowing insecticide in protest against the government, police said. The dispute began after Kashmiri authorities promised to give forest land to a trust that runs Amarnath, a cave shrine visited by Hindu pilgrims. Many Muslims were enraged.
The government then rescinded its decision, which in turn angered Hindus in Jammu who attacked lorries carrying supplies to Kashmir valley and blocked the region’s highway, the only surface link with the rest of India.
The dispute has snowballed into a full-scale anti-India protest, uniting Kashmiri leaders and reviving calls for independence.
Authorities relaxed a curfew for a few hours in Srinagar late on Thursday, but most of the streets were deserted except for security patrols.
Police and soldiers increased security around a stadium in Srinagar where India’s independence day celebrations are to be held on Friday. Separatist groups called for a general strike and labelled Friday a “black day”.
“I strongly condemn the reign of terror let loose by the Indian forces against the besieged people of Kashmir,” said separatist leader Mohammed Yasin Malik, who led a protest in Srinagar

Dear Editor [...] You need not look for such pictures in India eka bahrat eka hindustan. You will get worst than this in Pakistan. Go to peshawar, karachi, lahore etc. See for your self what you mean by this article.
Spread message of love and not hatred. Bring Humanity closer and do not seperate. God may give you Goodwill.
Truth is painful, but for those who don’t believe in it. Kashmir either territorial part of Pakistan, or such many other reason. it is a fact that majority of Kashmir-i’s are Muslim. Using Linguistic or nationalistic theory/ philosophy would do no good. Pakistan stands as an identity for Islam and Muslims and its philosophy of Muslim State for the People of Sub-continent and beyond stand by the very fact of its years on map. Though quite new and yet oldest of all, it is taking its place yet again with the available codes of identity, i.e Linguistic, nationalistic, etc. Kashmir as a Muslim majority province has for itself the right to chose for its liking of any identity. And facts can not be ignored just to be in state of illusion that by not giving the right of self determination, one would lose the very basic needs of mankind; Freedom. No man no nation can survive long in being loved forceably, as love itself needs the very basic need of freedom. Till there is no honest realisation of the very need of Kashmir-i’s by India, the dispute would remain between India and Pakistan, and pain and agony the fate of Kashmir.
Following the theory of Islamic ideology which brought into the unification of Pakistan, as an Islamic state for Muslims, Kashmir has that one right remaining on the Once great people of sub-continent.
Water disputes, and many others shall all be resolved once India realise that honestly trusting and not wrestling with his brothers who are of their choice Muslims, can resolve all disputes once and for all. Pakistan need to grow as a nation, and no nation is great till he is loved by all. India should do the same. There is no interest of Pakistan to endanger the lives of millions of Indians, of whatever cast creed or colour for its expansion into the very lands they were once friends with before the British.
We have enough Muslim states to unify and if someday Indians by their own choice accepted Islam they would always be welcomed, but shall never be forced nor were they ever done in thousand years of Muslim rule.
Peshawar, Karachi, Lahore etc. I like this etc word, its funny because it covers the others who are in much more pain as in the above stated. I am from that very region of Peshawar. With each explosion in my city, the people mourn, but they say one thing, if its Allah’s will than let it be so, but we love Pakistan because it gives us freedom from the very people who kills us, If it has nothing to offer more. I hope all who talk about Humanity Know who they are. Non Intellectual India not Indians.
Am i spreading hate as well.. i hope not. India should resolve the dispute, for the very people it stands for; Indians. I know we both are in crumbling situations, its better to retain our names rather than losing it to one another while seeing who is most resilient. There is much to be done for the people of sub-continent, irrespective of cast creed or culture.Jammu Kashmir is in India and Azad Kashmir in Pakistan, and there is no harm in doing referendum, rather than stretching the two legs of Kashmir.
This is not the war of territory, its a conflict of Ideology. If India so believes that its National Ideology is greater than the Islamic Ideology of Pakistan, than what is the reason that followers of Loving Humanity would not take a step to Love Kashmir-i’s, by at last giving them their right of self determination and get on track of developing mankind and his quest to technological and ideological freedom in the world today. Kashmir can be finished, not Kashmiri’s, save them by giving them their choice of freedom.
Peace and Blessing
Muhammad
