Chinese Pakistani Nexus map. The Trade between China and Pakistan consolidates a friendship as old as the Himalayas
The roots of our strategic relationship with China go back to the India-China clashes in October 1959 in Ladakh. Bhutto was then leading Pakistan’s delegation at the UN General Assembly. He was alarmed at President Ayub Khan‘s offer of joint defence to India. Bhutto felt that only those unlettered in international affairs could believe that such an offer would be accepted. In fact, it was more likely to incur the hostility of China which had so far, despite our membership of anti-communist western alliances, refrained from criticising Pakistan.
Bhutto submitted a proposal to the president that Pakistan review its support for the US position on the question of Chinese representation in the UN and back the legitimate representation of the People’s Republic of China. The proposal was accepted. The initiative led to increasing contacts between China and Pakistan and to the conclusion in quick succession of border, civil aviation and trade agreements. These caused some alarm in western circles.
Bhutto argued that it was essential for Pakistan to continue developing friendly relations with China, for if Pakistan were to take provocative steps against China, its position would be perilous when China-US relations improved. Since then Pak-China ties have grown exponentially.Dawn.Bhutto’s foreign policy legacy By Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Sunday, 05 Apr, 2009 | 10:40 AM PST |
The China Nexus with Pakistan grows

The Pakistna China nexus keeps on growing. There are many ongoing maga projects between China and Pakistan. These projects support the age old trade routes that have been existance for thousands of years.Chinese technology exports to Pakistan: JF-17 Thunder, J-10s, J-11s

Pakistan is “China’s ‘Israel’ “. This term means that China supports Pakistan without pre-conditions. Pakistanis and Chinese call it an all-weather friendship. By supporting Pakistan, China cuts down India to size and keeps India embroiled in petty disputes with a much smaller neighbor. India does not have the vision and is schackled ny her “attot tungs” and religious wars, and ethnic bigotry and caste classfications. India has had wars with all her neighbors.

Musharraf eyes more nuclear power plants with Chinese help Islamabad, April 10, IRNA
Pakistan-Musharraf nuclear
President Pervez Musharraf, who embarked on a 6-day state visit to China on Thursday, said he would seek Chinese help to build more nuclear power plants in the country.
Currently China is building second nuclear power plant at Chashma, 280 kilometers south-west of Islamabad, in the eastern Punjab province.
“With 300 Mega Watt Chashma power project already in place and work underway on Chashma-II we will also have talks on the costing of Chashma-III and Chashma-IV as well as discussing a future 1000 MW project,” President Musharraf told reporters before his departure for China.
The construction of Chashma Nuclear Power Plant Unit-1 (CHASNUPP-1), the second nuclear power plant in Pakistan, was started in 1992 with the help of China. It has been in commercial operation since September 2000.
The construction of Chashma Nuclear Power Project Unit-2 (CHASNUPP-2) started after the ground breaking ceremony on April 8, 2005.
CHASNUPP-1 is a two-loop PWR plant with gross output of 325 MWe & net output of 300 MWe and life span of 40 years.
“I would exchange views with the Chinese leadership to discuss ways and means to boost cooperation in the energy sector,” President Musharraf said.
He said Pakistan is also planning to establish one thousand megawatt nuclear power plant in future and he will hold discussions about this project as well.
China is a major source of investment, trade and defence for Pakistan. Bilateral trade between the two countries has touched US 6.5 billion dollars.
Pakistan and China signed a free trade pact in 2006 and hope to raise two-way trade to $15 billion within the next five years.
This week, a Shanghai shipyard launched the first of four F- 22P frigates to be delivered to Pakistan.
The fourth and last vessel will be completed at a Karachi shipyard in 2013.
The Pakistan Air Force has inducted into its fleet a fighter aircraft, called JF-17 Thunder, that is co-produced with China.
The President said that he would hold talks with the Chinese leadership on every facet of the broad-based relations between the two countries including cooperation in the establishment of three more nuclear power plants.
To a question, he said Pakistan and China enjoy close relations and he will have an all inclusive talks with Chinese leaders on bilateral cooperation and regional issues.

China is very important for pakistan’s survival in the region, and the term China’s “Israel” is Pakistan is very TRUE!
Long live Pakistan China friend-ship!
Pakistan can go far with China’s aid but I don’t believe Pakistan’s full potential has been achieved since there are so many insurgents and terrorists within Pakistan.
There is a concerted effort by the Indians to create instability in Nepal. Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Bangldesh and Pakistan so that Akhand Bharat can be justified. See the book “India Doctrine” by Bangladeshi intellectual and prominent writer Mr. Munshi. Mr. Isha Khan and Mr. Malik have also written reams about it.
One cannot believe the popular press in reporting events in Pakistan. The best stuff gets left out.
What does Pakistan propose to export to China, terrorists to Xinjiang Uyghur?
Dev Kant
Snide remarks like that display a deep rooted hatred for Pakistanis (read all Muslims). Pakistan and China are building six Chinese industrial zones in Pakistan for export. Also the JF-17 Thunder is being exported to 23 countries.
Obvioulsy the media that Mr. Kant reads has no clue about Pakistan and the Pakistani potentila in creating farms to capture the $200 Billion food market of the Middle East.
Bigotry agasint islam may be in fashion in Bharat, but it is not in fashion in China.
Pakistan provides a land route to China and is part of the String of pearls strategy of the Chinese that links many ports in the Ocean and make it a Chinese Lake.
The Pakistan-China nexus also keeps the “Akhand Bharat” wet dream as premature …..
America is boosting india to contain china. pakistan will also be affected with US-India nexus. Pakistan and China should help each other to contain india and keep america out of this region.
india doesnt care for china.india has 70%population under 25…….highest working one in the world……..
but india”s own blood pakistan is a problem…..
now the time has come to destroy islamic pakistan..and tell the world what prophet did with sword…….conversions and killing……will not be tolerated….especially in india………
terrorists will be brutally.killed…..come any where in india……..leave kashmir……whole pakistan, bangladesh is ours…………converting indians by making muslims or christians doesnt make u a different country………
worl will see rise of superpower india…….
long live indians…………..
Our youth means nothing….esp as they are uneducated (look at our appalling literacy rate) & working as slaves. We can’t even feed ur own people….sorry but I am a realist – superpower my ass!
While East Asians have historically kicked the white man’s ass – from the Huns who detroyed the Romans, Mongols who ruled all of Russia, Eastern Europe, Central Asia & Middle East (even the Mughals claim ancestry to them), even the Japs who had the balls to take on the Americans (eventhough they lost), to the Chinese & Nth Koreans, and more recently the Nth Vietnamese who defeated the mighty US; – lets face the truth, we are not warriors, us Indians have historically only been good at licking the white man’s ass….
The youth of India must educate ourselves by reading some history! And learn from it – to be realistic & practical achievers….talk is cheap!
And the reason why India has been overtaken by China and why we will never become a superpower is due to a lack of meritocracy in our culture. For that is the cultural imperative behind all the great nations in history. Indians may have the potetial to be world beaters – but we will never achieve it because their greatest talents will always be suppressed under an archaic caste & corruption system. Atleast the Pakis are smart enough to realise this!
So wake up India….to the rest of the world we are just underachievers who have big heads (bollywood is not the real world). ie – we come across as a bunch of arrogant WANKERS. Thats why westerners and all our own neighbours hate us (pakistan, bangladesh, nepal, sri lanka, etc…). As an Indian living in the West – I know this.
Face the facts – the Chinese have historically beaten us in all regards. Despite having a head start (we are an older civilisation) the Chinese have been much more inventive, and creative in all areas of human achievement…. with historically most major inventions being credited to the Chinese.
Another wake-up call is to look at our sporting achievements (sport is a good analogy to war/ business) – we ranked below some of the smallest nations on earth at the last Olympics.
We are NOT a superpower – not even close! And if we keep thinking we are….we will never reach our potential. We Indians are too insecure for our own good…maybe we have inherited an inferiority complex from our English masters?
You dont hear the Chinese constantly bragging abt their (premature) superpower status! Call centres dont make a superpower….FACT – currently we’re only a superpower in human poverty and infant morality. The sooner we wake up to ourselves, the sooner India will become a true world beater..
Thank you making the world aware of people like you. We will save this comment for posterity for those who espouse peace.
Here is an article written especially for people like you…sit down, drink a glass of cold water and read it carefully..maybe the effect of the crack that is being doled out may recede for a few moments and maybe just maybe people like you can see reality for a few seconds…don’t worry, you wont be able to read the entire article before the “crack” of hatred overwhelms you.

Remember we said India today resembles Wiemar Germany
Remember we said that Indians are unable to see their cavities
Remember we mentioned the minor detail that 160 million of 300 more people in “India” will not be manageable
God Bless people like you
well my dear friend ‘saurabh’ u should first read ur own history. india was never a one country but a sub continent which it is today as well. there were many empires within india and they used to deal with their people under their own rules. just because mughals were kind of a super power within india doesnt mean the whole of india belonged to them.
in today’s world u can compare it with EU where there are no barriers but many nations live under different rules and regulations each having its own gov and armies as well.
that is why there is not much peace in the region. each state wants authority coz thats how they lived for more than 1000yrs.
so please my request is get this thing out of ur mind that peace will prevail only when bangladesh, india and pakistan will merge into one country. peace will only come when each state is given sufficient authority to handle its own affairs.
another thing. if u r indian and know ur history then how come u dont know about mughals. mughals were mangolians who came to the sub continent by conquering muslim land as most of the states which came in their way were muslims or atleast inhabited by muslims. many muslims were killed. and these are the same mughals who later converted to islam. so where exactly was islam spread by sword.
brother ur history is weak. sometimes one has to do his own research to find out the truth and espacially if ur teachers only teach u history which has to do with anti pakistan or anti islam.
talkin about the world here. now tell me which muslim went africa with sword in his hand. give me single eg if u can find any. and if no one did then y half of the africa is muslim. and also y is the fastest growin religion today is islam when most of the muslim countries are only puppets. today we are not in a position to even lift a sword forget about showin it to someone.
brother lets be realistic while writin something and not emotional. or atleast do some research on our own before commentin on something.
first i am pakistani all the things which are written above are truth in the world china is the only country which is supporting pakistan so all pakistanis love china and their public due to unconditional support long live china pak china frienship zinda baad pakistan and china painda baad thanks china
Sorry Moin but you have chosen wrong title for the topic…I hope you’ll get why I make this point… compare Pakistan and Israel with each other in islamic and natiolistic perspective, you’ll get the answer. why you selected a very wrong title for this Article.
Mr. Khan: I understand your point…hopefully you understand mine!
Indians can just bark. They barked yesterday, they are barking today and will keep barking tomorrow. We should always put deaf year to our stupid and arrogant neighbor who has already got a taste of defeat once from china very badly. We know that Hindus are just plain stupids and India is not a secular country. It really sucks like their shitty bhagwanz!
Long Live Sino-Pak Friendship!!
