To read the 1st part of the article: World Power India Part 1

This is the 2nd part of the article: World power India: Part 2

This is the 2nd part of the article which examines the deep divisions and cavities among the various castes, nationalities, ethnicities that eek out a living on the sidewalks and slums of major cities. Dalits, Muslims and the women of India carry the burdens of exploitation. The country is spending less than 1% of education and less than 3% of health and social services. This cannot improve the lot of the common people. Military expenditure is astronomical. However no country can achieve global status of respectability without using her resources. In a case called ‘an experiment” to be repeated in other states, in 2005 several thousands Muslims were massacred under the guidance and support of the administration of Mr. Modi who is poised to become the next Prime Minister of the country.

Around six out of 10 Indians live in the countryside, where abject poverty is widespread. 34.7 % of the Indian population lives with an income below $ 1 a day and 79.9 % below $ 2 a day. According to the India’s planning commission report 26.1 % of the population live below the poverty line. [World Bank's poverty line of $1 a day, but the Indian poverty line of Rs 360 a month, or 30 cents a day]

    Discrimination in Media

Hindu upper caste men, who constitute just eight per cent of the total population of India, hold over 70 % of the key posts across newsrooms in the country. The so-called twice-born Hindu castes dominate 85 % key posts despite constituting just 16 % of the total population, while the intermediary castes represent a meager 3%.

The Hindu Other Backward Class groups, who are 34 % of the total population, have a share of just 4% in the Indian newsrooms. Muslims, who constitute about 13 % of the population, control just 4 % top posts while Christians and Sikhs have a slightly better representation. But the worst scenario emerges in the case of Scheduled Castes (SCs) and Scheduled Tribes /Aborgines (STs): Based on CSDS study, 2006. Ref: The Hindu, June 05, 2006

    Discrimination in Judiciary

India’s subordinate courts have a backlog of over 22 million cases while the 21 high courts and the Supreme Court have 3.5 million and 32,000 pending cases (2006). In subordinate courts, over 15 million cases are filed and an equal number disposed of annually by about 14,000 judges! Every year a million or more cases are added to the arrears. At the current speed, the lower courts may take 124 years for clearing the backlog. There were only 13 judges for every million people.

Recently a parliamentary committee blamed the judiciary for keeping out competent persons of downtrodden communities from “through a shrewd process of manipulation”. Dalits and Indian aborigines are lesser than 20 out of 610 judges working in Supreme Court and state high Courts. “This nexus and manipulative judicial appointments have to be broken, it urged”. [Parliamentary standing committee report on Constitutional Review, Sudarshan Nachiappan]. Among 12 states with high-Muslim population, Muslim representation in judicial sector is limited to 7.8%. (Justice Sachar Report).

According to the National Crime Records Bureau, only 31 per cent criminal trials are completed in less than a year. Some take even more than 10 years. According to its study, Crime in India 2002, nearly 220,000 cases took more than 3 years to reach court, and about 25,600 exhausted 10 years before they were completed. The term of the Liberhan Commission, formed 14 years ago to probe the demolition of the Babri mosque in Ayodhya and originally given a mandate of three months, has been extended again!

    Discrimination against Children

According to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, India has the highest number of street children in the world. There are no exact numbers, but conservative estimates suggest that about 18 million children live and labor in the streets of India’s urban centers. Mumbai, Delhi and Calcutta each have an estimated street-children population of over 100,000. The total number of Child labor in India is estimated to be 60 million.

The level of child malnutrition in India is among the highest in the world, higher even than some countries in sub-Saharan Africa, says the report ‘Extent of Chronic Hunger and Malnutrition in India’ by the UN’sspecial rapporteur on the right to food. While around 25 percent children globally were underweight, in India the number was 43 percent. A quarter of all neo-natal deaths in the world, (2.1 million) occurred in India, says UNICEF Report 2007 . More than one in five children who die within four weeks of birthis an Indian. Nearly fifty percent of Indian children who die before the age of five do not survive beyond the first 28 days.

Discrimination against Women: Women Harassed in “Incredible India”: Persistent ogling, heckling by Indian men. GENDER MURDER:-10 million baby girls killed before & after birth

According to the 2001 census, female literacy in India is 54.16 % against male literacy of 75.85 %. Most of the working women remain outside the organized sector: A mere 2.3 % women are administrators and managers, and 20.5 % professional and technical workers.

There are an estimated 40 million Hindu widows in India, the least fortunate of them shunned and stripped of the life they lived when they were married. It’s believed that 15,000 widows live on the streets of Vrindavan, a Hindu holy city of about 55,000 population in northern India. Many widows – at least 40per cent are said to be under 50 – are dumped by their relatives in religious towns and left to live off charity or beg on the streets. Their plight was highlighted in Deepa Mehta’s award-winning film Water, which had to be shot mainly outside India because of Hindu extremist opposition to the production.

Nearly 9 out of 10 pregnant women aged between 15 and 49 years suffer from malnutrition and about half of all children (47%) under-five suffer from underweight and 21 % of the populations are undernourished. India alone has more undernourished people (204 million) than all of sub-Saharan Africa combined. Nearly 20 % of women dying in childbirth around the globe are Indians. Six out of every 10 births take place at home and untrained people attend more than half of them. 44 % of the Indian girls were married before they reached the age of 18. It added, 16 % of girls in the age group 15-19 years were already mothers or expecting their first child and that pregnancy is the leading cause of mortality in this age group.

On an average one Indian woman commits suicide every four hours over a dowry dispute. During Indian marriage, women should bring jewellery, cash and even consumer durables as part of dowry to the in-laws. If they fail, the victims are burnt to death – they are doused in kerosene and set fire to. Routinely the in-laws claim that the death happened simply due to an accident.

Fetus Killing: Women Harassed in “Incredible India”: Persistent ogling, heckling by Indian men. GENDER MURDER:-10 million baby girls killed before & after birth

Women to men ratio were feared to reach 20:80 by the year 2020 as female fetus killing is rampant. Ten million girls have been killed by their parents in India in the past 20 years, either before they were born or immediately after, told Indian Minister for Women and Child Development Renuka Chowdhuryto Reuters. According to the 2001 census, the national sex ratio was 933 girls to 1,000 boys, while in the worst-affected northern state of Punjab, it was 798 girls to 1,000 boys. The availability of ultrasound sex-determination tests leads to such mass killings in India.

Around 11 million abortions are carried out in India every year and nearly 80,000 women die during the process, says a report from Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI)

    Human Trafficking

Out of the 593 districts in India, 378 or 62.5 % are affected by human trafficking. In 2006, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) sponsored study conducted by Shakti Vahini, found that domestic violence, illiteracy, unemployment, poverty; unsafe migration and child marriage are the major reasons for the increasing rate of illegal human trafficking.

95 % of the women in Madhya Pradesh in commercial sex are due to family traditions. So are 51.79 % in Bihar,’ said the study. While 43 % of the total women trafficked are minors, 44 percent of the women are into flesh trade due to poverty. Of the total women who are into sex work in the country, 60 % are from the lower and backward class, which indicates the pathetic living condition of the communities. In Madhya Pradesh, a political bastion of Hindu right wing party, 96.7 % of the women sex workers are from the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes.

India has 4 million prostitutes nationwide and 60% of the prostitutes are from the Scheduled Castes and Tribes or other backward caste. UNAIDSsays over 38% of those living with HIV in India are women.

High Crime Rate and Communal Riots

India reported 32,481 murders, 19,348 rapes, 7,618 dowry deaths and 36,617 molestation cases in 2006. As far as states are concerned, NCRBhas found that Madhya Pradesh recorded the highest number of crimes (1,94,711) followed by Maharashtra (1,91,788), Andhra Pradesh (1,73,909), Tamil Nadu (1,48,972) and Rajasthan (1,41,992) during 2006. According to National Crime Records Bureau, there was 1822602 riots in 2005 alone. [ Incidence Of Cognizable Crimes (IPC) Under Different Crime Heads, concluded, Page 2] NCRB website

On average there are more than 2000 cases of kidnappings per year in India. Under India’s notorious caste system, upper caste Hindus inherited key positions and controls all the governmental branches. Violence against victims largely goes unpunished due to the support of upper caste crooks.

    Economic Crimes

Economic Crime continues to be pervasive threat for Indian Companies, with 35 % of the organizations reporting having experienced fraud in the past two years according to PwC Global Economic Crime Survey 2007. Many incidents of fraud are going unreported. According to PricewaterhouseCoopers’ India findings:

    • * Corruption and Bribery continues to be the most common type of fraud reported by 20 % of the respondents;
    • * The average direct financial loss to companies was INR 60 Million (US $ 1.5 million) during the two year period. In addition the average cost to manage economic crime in India was INR 40 Million (US $ 1 Million) which is close to double that of the global and Asia Pacific average;
    • * In 36% of cases companies took no action against the perpetrators of fraud;
    • * In 50% of the cases frauds were detected by chance. [PWC Report 2007]

    Armed Conflicts in India:

Indian insurgencies map.Hindiustan India Maoist Naxalite insurgency map Almost every state has separatist movements, many of them armed. A large number of Muslims were killed in the past few years across the country and the numbers are on a steady rise. On top of that India has become a paraya for its neighbours. None of its neighbours appreciate their closeness to India and they all blame it for meddling in their affairs.

The military might of centric Hindu elites in Delhi isolated people of Jammu & Kashmir and the northeastern states. It is difficult for any community to feel part of a larger country when the armed forces of the country are deployed to silence them.

According to an Indian official report , 165 of India’s 602 districts – mostly in states like Chhattisgarh, Andhra Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh – are “badly affected” by tribal and dalit violence, which government termed as “Maoist terror”. India’s military spending was recorded at US $21.7 billion in 2006 andit planned to spend $26.5 billion during 2008/09 financial year. 85 percent of the Army’s budget is spent on the enormous manpower of 1,316,000, which is the fourth largest in the world.

In 2005, Business Week reported that India became Israel’s largest importer of weapons, accounting for about half of the $3.6 billion worth of weapons exported by the Jewish state.

Booming industry of Terrorism Experts and Security Research Institutes

With the emergence of Hindutva fascist forces andtheir alliance with neo cons and zionists, India witnessed a sharp increase in the number of research institutes, media houses andlobbying groups. Together they create fake terror stories with the help of intelligence wing, employ their own terror mafia, manipulate explosions in areas of tribals, dalits or minorities. India, incidentally, has bought military hardware andsoftware from Israel worth over $7 billion since the 1991 Kargil conflict. By creating conflicts in this poor country, Brahmin spin masters get huge commission from the sale of weapons to government forces. To them, ‘National Interest‘ simply means ‘Brahmin Interest’. Their lobbying power bring more wealth to their families as jobs, citizenship of rich countries and educational opportunities abroad.

Bobby Jindal supports these extremist groups that killed thousandsThe Defence Offset Facilitation Agency estimating the expenditure on the sector at USD 100 billion for next five years. At least 38 court cases relating to arms agreements are still pending against bureaucrats and military officers. Hindu fascist forces currently enjoy upper hand in media, civil service, judiciary, defence and educational streams of Indian society. Sooner or later, 25,000 strong democratic institutions in India will be collapsed and the country will be transformed to a limited democracy like Turkey or Israel.

Suicides of Farmers and collapse of Agricultural sector

In the last two years, more than 218,000 people across India committed suicide mainly due to poverty, family feud, strained relationship with loved ones, dowry harassment and health problems. In a research by the Indian National Crime Records Bureau, it was noted that suicide cases in the country were registered at 118,112 and over 100,000, in 2005 and 2006, respectively.

Most of those who committed suicide were farmers, and the victims took their lives either by hanging or consuming poison. Aside from farmers, women also topped the list of people in India with suicidal tendencies. Since 1998 about 25 000 Indian farmers have committed suicide because they could not repay their debts. These debts, however, have largely accumulated because these farmers were severely overcharged by their money-lenders asking for up to 32% of interest.

76 per cent of the nation’s land is belonging to 23 per cent of population. More than 15 million rural households in India are landless. Another 45 million rural families own some land, less than 0.10 acre each, which is hardly enough to make them self- sufficient, let alone generate a profit. 340 million people in India are dependent largely on agricultural wage labour, $1 or less a day.[Rural Development Institute (RDI), Washington]

    Unemployment

Recently, a national report on the employment situation in India has warned that nearly 30 percent of the country’s 716 million-strong workforce will be without jobs by 2020. Government of India doesn’t have the resources or political will to find jobs for such a large population.

Retail trade employs 8 percent of India’s population, the largest employer after agriculture. There are more than 12 million small retailers in India, 96 percent of whom are small mom-and-pop stores, each occupying less than 500 square feet, creating the highest retail-outlet density per capita in the world. [Tarun Khanna, Yale]

Call centers and other outsourced businesses – such as software writing, medical transcription and back-office tasks – employ more than 1.6 million people in India, mostly in their 20s and 30s. Heart disease is projected to account for 35% of deaths among India’s working-age population between 2000 and 2030 says World Health Organization study. That number is about 12% for the United States, 22% for China and 25% for Russia.

Internal Migration and influx to the cities

Mumbai, the commercial capital of India is projected to grow into a city of about 21.9 million by the year 2015 and currently is plagued by vast poverty due to influx from villages. There are 5 million living on the street every night, covered only in newspaper, ” says Dr. Werner Fornos, president of the Global Population Education think tank and the former head of the Population Institute in Washington, D.C.

India is spending more than $400 million (£200m) to polish Delhi’s image as a first-rate capital, a difficult task for a city that seems to exist between the first and third worlds. A third of the capital’s 14 million-plus people live in teeming slums. According to crime statistics of 2006, Delhi continues to be the undisputed ‘crime capital’ of the country for the past 5 years in a row. 35 mega cities in India collectively reported a total of 3,26,363 cognizable crimes in 2006, an increase of 3.7% over 2005. Delhi, Mumbai andBangalore together accounted for more than one-third of all crimes reported in Indian cities having a population of over a million people, for the second year in a row.

    India, a closed country

India’s share in world tourism map, was hovering between 0.38% to 0.39% for number of years. Irrespective of its huge area and beautiful nature, the foreign exchange earned from tourism was merely $2.61 billion (2006). India, scored only 4.14 out of seven in The WEF’s recently released Travel andTourism Competitive Index (TTCI2007). Among 124 countries listed, Switzerland ranked highest while India was placed at 65th rank, which is far below of Malaysia (ranked 31). India was also listed at the bottom of ‘developing and threshold countries’, which listed Tunisia at 34th place.

Indian immigration doesn’t welcome foreigners to visit India . [VISA requirements, T&T index, India ranked 106, while Malaysia ranked 15] . VOA facilities are not available to anyone. The easier entry to India virtually limited to countries with considerable Hindu population like Mauritius or Nepal. The Hindu elite leaders of the country always concerned about India’s physical boundaries and its holy cows rather than the life of its 85 % poor people. To them, the national interest means their own economical or political interests.

Indian Embassies are rated as the worst service providers around the globe. They are notorious for ‘red tapes‘ and ‘ corruption friendly service‘ a complaint repeatedly quoted by Non Resident Indians itself.

    Global Warming effects in India

Economic loss due to global warming in India is estimated between 9-25%. GDP loss may be to the tune of 0.67%. Prediction of loss of wheat is more. Rabi crops will be worse hit which threatens food security. Drought and flood intensity will increase.100-cm sea level rise can lead to welfare loss of $1259 million in India equivalent to 0.36% of GNP. Frequencies and intensities of tropical cyclones in Bay of Bengal will increase. Malaria will be accelerated to an endemic in many more sates. 20% rise in summer monsoon rainfall. Extreme temperatures and precipitations are expected to increase. [Sir Nicholas Stern Report]

    Transportation

Despite the much touted economic boom, only 0.8 percent of Indians own a car most are on foot, motorbikes, or carts. And of all the vehicles sold in India from April to November of last year, 77 percent were two-wheelers – motorcycles, mopeds, or scooters. China has built over 34,000 km of expressways, compared to less than 8,000 km in India. According to Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM), nearly 42o million man hours are lost every month by the 7 million -odd working population of Delhi and NCR who take the public transport to travel to work because of traffic congestion during the peak morning and evening hours. India is having only less than 1% of the world’s vehicle population.

    Road Safety

India accounts for about 10 percent of road accident fatalities worldwide and the figures are the highest in the world. Indian roads are poorly constructed, traffic signals, pedestrian pavements and proper signage almost nonexistent. The other reasons are encroachments, lack of parking facility and ill-equipped and untrained traffic police, corruption and poor traffic culture. An estimated 1,275,000 persons are grievously injured on the road every year. Social cost of annual accidents in India has been estimated at $ 11,000. The Government of India’s Planning Commission has estimated there to be 15 hospitalised injuries and70 minor injuries for every road death.

According to NATPAC, The number of accidents for 1000 vehicles in India is as high as 35 while the figure ranges from 4 to 10 in developed countries. An estimated 270 people die each day from road accidents, and specialists predict that will increase by roughly 5 percent a year. Accidents also cause an estimated loss of Rs 8000 million to the country’s economy. About 80 per cent of the fatal andsevere injury occurred due to driving faults. According to World Bank forecasts India’s death rate is expected to rise until 2042 if no remedial action being taken. The number of road accidents in China dropped by an annual average 10.8 per cent for four consecutive years from 2003, despite continuous growth in the number of privately owned cars.

    Doing Business in India

It takes 50 days to register a property as compared to less than 30 days in China, and less than 10 days in the United States and Thailand. Average cost of a business start-up is over 60 percent of per capita income, much higher than any of the comparator countries.

India has the highest cost of electricity among major industrialised and emerging economies ($0.8 per kwh for industry as against $0.1 kwh in China), result of the highest transmission and distribution losses in the world, or in other words a quarter of the gross electricity output. Transport costs are very high in India. It accounts for 25% of total import costs as against only 10% in comparator countries. [World Bank Report on India]

Foreign remittance from Non Resident Indians

In 2006, India received the highest amount of remittance globally from migrants, 27 $Billion. Around 20$ billion of this came from the Gulf expatriate workforce. Together, GCC countries are the largest trading partner of India and home of 5 million of Indian workforce. Indian government expects overseas Indians to pump in about US$500 billion into the FOREX reserves of the country in the next 10 years, making them the single largest source of foreign receipts.

    Foreigners Living in India

Historically, about 72 % of the current Indian population is originated from Aryan race. Prominent historians and Dravidians consider Aryans as foreign invaders to India. The Aryan Invasion Theory (AIT) was postulated by eminent Oxford scholar Max Muller in 1882 and later advanced by several western and Indian historians.

Under the current scenario, potential migrants or ‘invaders’ to India include few ‘hired or weird’ Pakistani bombers, villagers aroundIndia’s border with Bangladesh, Tamil refugees from Sri Lanka and Indian import of Nepali prostitutes. 92 year old, Indian Painter Maqbool Fida Hussainlives in Dubai after death threats from Hindu militants. According to Hindu extremists Bangladeshi story teller Taslima Nasrin passed all the tests for an Indian citizenship. Italian born Sonia Gandhi , the Christian widow of Rajiv Gandhi is still considered as a foreigner by Hindu elites while Pakistan born Hindu, Lal Krishna Advani is ‘legally and morally fit’ to become India’s next Prime Minister.

    Quit India!

Sixty years ago Indians asked the British to quit India. Now they are doing it themselves. To live with dignity and enjoy relative freedom, one has to quit India! With this massive exodus, what will be left behind will be a violently charged and polarized society.

Hindutva’s fake National Pride on India

A 2006 opinion poll by Outlook-AC Nielsen shows that 46 % of India’s urban class wants to settle down in US. Interestingly, in the Hindutva heart land of Gujarat, 54 % of people want to move to US.

Even Parliament members of the Hindutva party are involved in human trafficking from India. Recently police arrested, Babubhai Katara, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, who was part of such a racket. He received 20,000 US $ per person for US migration from victims.

When Indians are fleeing aroundthe world to find a job, how can this hindutva idiots can claim on “National Pride of India”?

India is the World Bank’s largest borrower, In June 2007 it provided $3.7bn in new loans to India. Due to the fake ‘India Shining’ propaganda launched by Hindutvaidiots, foreign donors are reluctant to help the poor people in this country. According to figures provided by Britain’s aid agency, the total aid to India, from all sources, is only $1.50 a head, compared with an average of $17 per head for low-income countries. Whenever you are looking down at your monitor thinking that you won anything, just go out into the street of your “Indian” (India is named after Pakistani Indius…the idiots mis-named the country as India..the land of the Ganges should be Gahngia) city—any city, Delhi, Agra or whatever and look up…you will see the shame and humiliation in the skyline…from Lal Qila in Delhi, to Fathpur Sikri to Hydrabad you will see the wowering minirets that will remind you of Hindu defeats and subservience that lasted over a thousand years….thats more than 10 centuries, or 365 days per year multiplied by 100 and then by ten again.

Pakistanis and Muslims ruled the entire Subcontinent for more than a thousand years. Dr. Koenraad Elst, while summarizing the Hindu losses at the hands of Muslim invaders, concludes.Ferishtha lists several occasions when the Bahmani sultans in central India (1347-152 killed a hundred thousand Hindus, which they set as a minimum goal whenever they felt like “punishing” the Hindus; and they were only a third-rank provincial dynasty. The biggest defeats took place during the raids of Mahmud Ghaznavi (ca. 1000 CE); during the actual conquest of North India by Mohammed Ghori and his lieutenants (1192 ff.); and under the Delhi Sultanate (1206-1526). The Moghuls (1526-1857), even Babar and Aurangzeb, were fairly tyrants by comparison. Prof. K.S. Lal once estimated that the Hindu population declined!

When Bollywood pornography fails, and when yarns cannot pull wool over the eyes of idiots, the favorite tactic is to attack Pakistan and Muslims

Why start in 1948..perhaps we can begin in Sindh in the 7th century, or Somnath in the 10th or Dlehi in the 11th….

In 1948 Pakistanis liberated Azad Kashmir and Northern Areas. Indians don’t know about this, because of the nonsensical maps published by Bollywood and those who believe in the tooth fairy!

1965: Indian troops could not cross the border and could not take any territory. Operation Gibrlater sowed the seeds of long term insurgency in India which has lasted more than 2 decades and keeps more than 1,000,000 Indian troops busy in Kashmir.

1971: Tactical withdrawls for strategic gain cannot be termed non-victories. Pakistan lost a civil war to Bengali brothers, but they did NOT join India. After Indian agent Mujib was kllled his corpse was left in the streets for a week, Bangali secularim was buried deep into the Bay of Bengal and paved the way for the real Bangistan and Brhoit Bangladesh allied with Pakistan via the Mughal corridor. Also see top line (May we remind you of the mountains of skulls). The missiles should remind you of the defeats:
      Ghazni, Abdali, Aurenzeb….

Kargil: Indians caught napping. Pakistan occupied 300 peaks. More seeds planted with amo dumps hidden deep into the mountain caves–to be retreived when needed. Tactical weapons hidden to be detonated when needed. Withdrew after world prssure to prepare for next Kargil. Indi acould not cross border by ONE INCH even after amassing 250,000 troops on border for a year.

Also see India as a world power? Part 1

PS: This article was not about Pakistan or India-Pakistan comparision. It was about India

but u seem to be 2 much confused with your facts about india!

plz visit india once in a life time and remove your confusions about various issues like hindutva, minority muslims !

last time i read ur blog, u declared tata a junk maker!!

but u forgot to note 1 point that china was a member of security council for last 60+years and it has been considered a major global player since last 30 years!!

probably India is much better than what china was 30 yrs ago!!

overall an average indian is much better financially what they were 10 yrs before!!

from 60-90 cost of food in india was 20-30% above international price now its opposite!!

india runs the biggest food distribution program ,where it spends 30-40 billin$ on providing food 2 poor at mere price of 2-3 rs for wheat & rice!!!

the only people who are deprived lots in india are tribals!
peeople in tribal areas r poor bcoz they don want 2 move to town 2 work and tribal belts have no agriculture!!

and naxal problem is hampering growth !!

but as a whole ur naxal blogs is [rudeness edited]!!

only very poorest district villages and jungles have some naxal movement!!

and public dont support naxalites !!and we dont have any religious based terrorism in india!
probably congress is 2 soft on naxals and terrorists !!

they are troubled the other party like CPM-CPI who are chinese in india ,working for china !!
so wait and watch, let BJP come in power ,we will get nuclear deal, and teach naxals, terrorists and china how 2 behave !!!

      pakistan is 2 smalll2 talk about !!

what a shame to see that in 2008 people, apparently more educated nowadays, are still fighting verbally about who is better, Pakistani or Indian or India versus Pakistan…. or is it still Hindus against Muslims??? That is the very reason why nations made of people like these (narrow-minded), take longer to advance and make clear and definite progress. Who is the super power really? Think twice before you answer.

Move on and make the changes that will make your country proud of you and humans grateful to you. Oh yes, it does not matter whether you are Pakistani or Indian for that matter. All the best!

      Mother Taresa…you are back!!

Thank you for your sanctimonious holier than thou “advice”. Now that you have declared bigotry obsolete, and banned the bigots (Advani, Modi, Taslima), we can ll go home!

..so what do we do with sites like hindunity[dot]org…

..oh! yeal..do not forget to call the forces back, leash the dogs of war and don’t forget to turn off the lights..we are all on the beach sipping margaretas!

The comments above only go to prove that no matter how many degrees you may have obtained, unfortunately they do not teach you how to respect the freedom of speech, and that too from somebody who has left his country and migrated because ” I like it here”. Hope you do not launch a personal vendetta now…lol , Anyway have a good life. May Allah’s peace be upon you.

Now, I read the article on “India as a World Power” and found that really interesting, a great eye opener and extremely useful for people conducting researches like myself. Many thanks to the person who sourced out all the info. Keep up the good work.

..so we have a live one…one who can actually read and does read…maybe even cares….most of them just throw a petard and then go away…

Namashkar, Namastay, Salaam, Shalom, Hello and Hi!

Thanks for the feedback in 2008!

May God bless you too in 2008? We respect the freedom of speech in 2008—that as why we approved your comments in 2008. (smile!)

6 degrees of freedom is all it takes!

Come on take it with a pinch of salt. …it was our dry humor!….Smile a little…laugh a lot.

“World power” was a snide commentary beyond the Bollywood gloss of “can’t show the poverty here…so lets film in Malaysia (the audience is too stupid to notice ) so that we can fool the people with “Incredible India” .

….South Asia is the only island of poverty in Asia…with the short work week and the longest rhetoric! South Asians do work slowly and drive fast…because they are in a hurry to get to work…and then stay there and not work!

The commentary was on those who think that by building a few skyscrapers and yes “the tallest building in the world’…”mine is bigger than yours”…they will raise the plight of the penury stricken masses in the Subcontinent

…monkey say monkey do…when the building goes up in Mumbai, another one will go up in Islamabad….both a testament to the illiteracy and ignorance that abounds.

…this site is to find out…to research..dig out the gems of information hidden by the six corporations that own the media world…..and the 6000 people who own 90% of the wealth..and the 250 corporations that own it all…

…its not about “we have arrived’..if it were so…we would not care…there wouldn’t be 2000 articles on the site…there wouldn’t be several thousand readers every day from across the planet…..and there wouldn’t be contributors from across the oceans….

…we care…..therefore we publish…maybe in some way some will join our AJMA (American Joint Multifaith Association)…others will throw a few brick bats and then go away.

If you do research and find the site interesting, we invite you to write…and write a response or support the cause of finding the truth…

      Hello again,

      Wassalaam

Yes the site is extremely interesting. I am actually researching on the culture, family values, economic, technological, social, etc i.e. all aspects of India’s development in the 20th and 21st centuries to link with the variation in the prevalence of serial killing between developing and developed countries. That’s how I reached your site. India is just one of 5 countries I am researching.

I’m sure this site will be of tremendous use to me. So once again thank you for publising facts as they are.

The one who is alive (just) and yes thank God who can read. loll …Have a good day.

      AA:

Thank you for your feedback. It made our day. Small things make us happy.

The tab on India titled “Ind” will give you a partial listing of articles written about India, though you may find others on other tabs and on the front pages and some in the index and others in the categories. It is impossible to keep all the articles visible (a huge challenge).

Welcome to the mad hatter’s tea party. Nothing is what it seems. You have to dig hard and dig deep.

In India you face paradigmic shift in definitions of murder, killing and serial killing. Western socieity–or any other society on the planet does not face the issues faced by the murder victims of caste, race, religion. The facade of civil society masks the truth and obfuscates the statustics.

Official statistics from India inform the world that 35000 listed murders took place in India last year–making it the murder capital of the world. However did the numbers include the innocent Kashmiris who went missing (1 million), or the Gujratis who were the victims of genocide, or the Tamils who went under or the widows that went up in smoke! So it the real number 35,000, or it si 70,000 or is it 150,000 or is it a million?

There is no yardstick to measure it by. It you add the baby girls it is more than 10 million. Which number do you use for “serial killing”?

For serious researchers, the articles on gender murder and Female foecide and girl fetocide are seminal. More than 10 million baby girls are killed just because they are girls–right before or right after birth. This is creating a “boys only” lopsided society and will have serios repercussions on the future of the country. The statistics are changing…boys outnumber girls in India.

Is burning widows serial killing? Why not? Indian sociiety burns them or incarcerates them in temples and forces them into prostitution. 50 million “white widows” are incarcerated in these rape centers called tmepels for “white widows”. The “White widows” cannot touch anyone, be seen or see anyone.

is the sytematic murder and rape of Dalits serial killing? Why not? If society segragetes 250 million humans and no one can touch them, and the can’t touch anyone–that is a death worse than death. Read. Dr. Ambedkar’s articles. A few dozen Dalits knocked off won’t make the Bollywood list of missing.Try listing the murder of a Dlait or a Muslim in Kashmir or a widow! These victims simply do not exist–on the official rolls, and they do not exist in civil society. Even when they were alive they were not part of society, so how could they be part of society when they are dead/killed/murdered/missing?

Try finding out the dead or msing slaves in per-emancipation USA?

Modi is indicted for the massacre of more than 3000 Muslims in Gujerat. Thehelka.com actually has aired taped converstaions of him directing the riots. He is still Chief Minister. Imagine a comparision with Nixon, who had to resign for a robbery (of doucments), and Clinton being impeacehd when his cigar went to a different place from which its manufacturers had intending it to go!

The “growth” on India simply concentrated the wealth into the hands of the Tatas and the Birlas–who always had the money. The trickle down theory does not work in India. The structural impediments of caste, religion, society prevent the participation of all sectors of the society in any menaingful spread of wealth.

For serial killing informaiton your research will have to dive into the dark underworld of Mumbai and Kolkota. The problems is that while serial killers in the USA are well documents, in India decades may go by without even finding the victims–let alone the murderers.

When half the city of Lucknow and Agra and Fatehpur Sikri (the list in long) sleeps on the sidewalk and the city charges rent for the sidewalk, it is a bit hard to keep track of missing persons who disappaear in the night.

Just like the name “India”, the reality of India is not what is dispalyed or shown. “India” is not just Delhi, Bombay Kolkota and a few blocks of Madras (Chennain)…if anything these are abberations.

What may be of particular interest to you is the Human Rights Commission report on India this year. The writings of Dalit Dr. Ambedkar are an inspiration to all those who fight discrimination, bigotry and racism.

We also posted several articles on cast discrimination in India.

The Bobby Jindal-Modi connection may highlight the connection of Amercan Gujratis and their support of Modi’g ongoing genocide of Muslims in Gujerat.

The articles on the Naxalite insurrection, and the insurgencies in the seven sisters are noteworthy.

Of course the seven sisters of the Norhteast, Kashmir, Asaam, and Tamil are in open rebellion.

Oh! Yeah! Don’t forget to give credit where it is due. When you are rich and famous send us a huge donation!

    10. alleyah · 5 years ago

      Hi,
Thanks for all the very useful tips and suggestions. I will most definitely be studying all types of killings in India and look at how or if they are recorded at all in any way within the criminal justice system. I will also look at the influences of religion and family values may have on crime in general, and on the prevalence of serial killing. I will then consider if they explain partly why India ( amongst other developing countries) appears to have less serial killers than developed countries (as appears to be the case at present). Or is it just a question of an incomplete recording system and database??? Hopefully the evidence provided after my study may highlight certain areas, within the indian criminal justice system where reforms may be welcome.

No worries! Credit will be given where due and when I am famous, not rich, (haha) perhaps I will send you a copy of my findings which hopefully may be useful to some of your users. (If permissible of course)

      A grateful one.

Thank you for your comments…though the content is a bit sensational.

Not sure where the tirade came from. Rupee News publsihes articles critical of all countries of the world, USA, Russia, Hollnad, Germany, France, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Tahlinad, Burma, USA, and Pakistan etc. There is scathing crticism of many politicians on this site (Bush, Sarkozi, Geert etc) including Pakistani politicians. See cartoons of Mr. Nawaz Sharif and Mr. Zardari as well as Mr. Haqqani.

You may have missed the header on the article. This one was about India…many other articles are posted on this site about other countries.

Not sure why India should be given immunity.

WHY SHOULD INDIAN PENURY BE HIDDEN? Why can’t Dalit misery be open to discussion? Why is it taboo to talk about the 50 million poor Indian “white widows” who are incarerated in temples and sold as prostitutes? Why is it prohibited to discuss the 10 million baby girls who are murdered right before and after brith (a practice that has skewed the make-female gender ratio on India).

We do undertand though. It is hard for some to look in the mirror. If one is use to the psychopanthic and triumphalist Indian press then one does not see the real picture of India or one glosses over it and ignores the realities.

Do we have to focus only on the $50 Billion IT industry that only affects 6 million people?…or the Bolly wood version of events..and sing kumbaya all day.

BTW: The information given on India is from Indian sources, the Dalit Netwrok and the International Human Rights Commission.

THE DALITS HAVE A RIGHT TO A DECENT HUMAN LIVING!

Not sure why we are discussing Pakistan on this page. This article was on India.

Comments should have been on the content of the article.

You are mistaken in your animosity. Please take up your issues with the original author of the article (www.Dalitnation.wordpress.com and Dalit Network)

Is this you or your bigoted alter ego speaking. Seems like you have a lot of pent up anger in you. Anger Management classes are in order. The bluster shows an inability to take crticism, even though the article was taken from The Dalit Network and credit has been given to them for the content. Kindly take up the issues with your Indian Dalits, not us at Rupee News.

All caps made your harangue very difficult to read. Paucity of punctuation made it even harder to understand. Bad grammar made it impossible to comprehend

There are several articles on this site very critical of Mr. Musharraf (http://rupeenews.com/2008/05/28/farewell-to-musharraf-now-what-can-the-ppp-handle-it/), his imposition of the emergency in Pakistan, and his dismissal of the judges. Mr. Musharraf has been a small figure in Pakistani politics since Feb 8th, 2008.

      http://rupeenews.com/2008/03/07/pakistans-president-agrees-to-resign-kiyani-nudges-musharraf/

There were several articles critical of Mr. Chaudhry for accepting the PCO and Mr. Musharraf.

If you have any particular beef with the content of this article kindly post it. We tried to find some content to respond to you in your tirade but were unable to decipher the rhetoric.

It is true that many look up at the spectacualr success of China which is a role model for many in the third world. Surely “India” is not a role model on anything excpet perhaps porn from Bollywood–and even in that hard core porno is better from Denmark.

I think you are mistaken. Not sure if we ever solicited advice from “Republic of India”. Not sure if you are the right representative of the Republic anyway. Unsolicited advice will be placed in the round file till Jim picks it up at around midnight.

      Have a Nice day.

Kindly do send us your comments if they pertain to a particular article. The rhetoric we can do without.

      Best Regards

Not sure why we are discussing Pakistan on this page???

It would be better if our pak folks remember their past atleast for sometime. Before “INDEPENDENCE” there was no country called “PAKISTAN”.There was a country called “INDIA” and todays pakistan was part of it. They all were under british raj.And they all were treated as slaves of brtish. They unitedly fought for freedom of india. A INDIA which includes pakistan too. Though pakistan got divided, still they are indian.

Indianness is in their blood, under their skin, in thier mind,in their thought,in the language which they speak. Even if they want they cant shook it off.

Problems faced by india are faced by pakistan too.

India is a poor country, pak too is a poor country.

India is facing an ever increasing population, pak too is facing the same menace.

India is a victim of teror, pak though lately is a victim of teror too.

Literacy and welfare of minorities is yet a problem in india, literacy among majority of pak is still a huge problem in pak too.

Women population in india is less compared to men, though as the days pass by the scenario is changing. In pak its a huge problem

Whatever problem one find`s in india, one is bound to find the same problem in pak.

Well i can understand the enthusiasm some folks have towards negativity about india, and all positives of her`s are drowned in flashing that negativity. Cant undertsand what one would get by doing so?

Certainly INDIA is not a heaven. Every country has its own pros and cons. Can any one name a perfect country on earth. There isn`t any.

Isn`t this article to crtical about india. Manifestated truths, mocked up reality. One can easily understand the intentions behind this article. Its not all good.

If ones intention behind publishing this article was good, one would have shown guds to publish reality.

And the reality is not at all same as claimed in this article.

And that enthusiastic person who has published this “[rudeness edited]” should have shown some guds to suggest what India and her people should do with this nonsense written about her and her people.

And to you mate if u can defend such [rudeness edited] article without knowing the fact, you should be brave enough to face crticism.

Afterall how can a “CAMEL” in desert know, how rossy is the forest.

And if my criticism was a bit too much for u sir, publish this article in a indian tabloid (afterall this is a article about india) you will be swept over your feet with response.

Afterall all who best than india and her people can judge this article, not even u sir.

“REALITY BITES”, thats excatly what i can understand from u response.

Learn to accept reality if not now then when?

I think u folks need some counselling, consult a certified doctor.

“It is true that many look up at the spectacualr success of China which is a role model for many in the third world. Surely “India” is not a role model on anything excpet perhaps porn from Bollywood–and even in that hard core porno is better from Denmark”

This statement of yours makes think so.

By the way its true that many look up at the spectacualr success of China which is a role model for many in the third world. But that very role model of third world looks india as a role model in IT industry.

      How strange the truth is.

You have a lot of misconception about india and her people, else you wouldnt have stated TATAS the world famous industrialist as junk makers.A person with a comon sense wouldnt have stated this. Are u kidding or are u fooling yourself. Whatever you got some serious problems.

And your recent statement ” Surely “India” is not a role model on anything excpet perhaps porn from Bollywood–and even in that hard core porno is better from Denmark”

You dont have a sound knowledge of current affairs,”BOLLYWOOD” is an entertainment industry not a porn industry as u said.

I think u might have mistakenly seen some asian porn videos and declared it as a “BOLLYWOOD” MOVIE.

How “IGNORANT” you are. You should certainly see a bollywood movie once in your lifetime.
And you should visit india atleast once in a liftime, and see the truth yourself.

      Thank you for your comments.

This articles is about India and the Dalits wrote it. Please take up the content with them.

Why don’t we discuss the Gender murder in India?
      http://rupeenews.com/2008/06/26/gender-genocide-in-india-10-million-baby-girls-killed-before-and-after-birth/

The Chinese $50 Billion IT industry has overtaken the Indian “computer coolies” who run the inefficient “call centers” and do not produce any application. The trend in the Indian “IT” sector (call center) is going down. China, Malaysia and Philipnes is fast taking over the programming.

      http://rupeenews.com/2008/05/07/india-losing-it-sector-to-agile-cheaper-chinese-suppliers/

Your obsession with Pakistan is strange. If you have things to say, perhaps you can write an article on Pakistan. If the content has merit, we will publish it.

Pakistan should not be discussed on this page.
Perhaps the fundamental paradigm taught in 8th grade text books will be shattered when you learn some real history

      http://rupeenews.com/2007/11/27/the-geographic-two-nation-theory-pakistan-existed-5000-years-ago/

Before independence there were more than 570 states in the Subcontinent. “Pakistan” surely was not part of anyting that you call “India”.

“Pakistan” (it was called Meluhha, Mekan and many other names) existed 5000 years ago as the “Indus Valley Civilization” (which existed on the banks of the Indus, NOT on the banks of the Ganges) separate and distinct from the rest of the Subcontinent.

Pakistan has nothing in common with India–Pakistan and India are separate nation divided by culture, language, religion, custom, morals. Pakistani heroes are Indian enemies and vice versa. You worship cows, Paksitanis eat them. Piss can’t be touched, Indian’s drink it…the list is long

Tatas buy junk and sells junk compared to Toyota and Honda.

Pornywood or Bellywood or Belly4wood (Bollywood) produces some good stuff like Earth, Wind, Fire, Jodha Akbar, Umrao Ada, Mugha e Azam but most of it junk…”Race” was all soft porn and most of the new films are nust “crap”. There is no sense of culutre and values…just vulgar hip gyrations.

What should India do about all this? Yes we have written solutions. Our seminal article is “The speech that Prime Minsiter SIngh should have given–the entire workd is waiting”

      China to overtake Indian IT?????????

      Was it a joke???

Outsourcing of work to low cost developing nations is growing rapidly even after constant challenges it faces from government and lawmakers of developed countries.
Last 6 years have seen India become the Outsourcing hub of the world and trend seem to be continuing for few years to come. The latest estimates released by National Association of Software and Services companies (Nasscom), projects revenues at $40 billion for this fiscal year. The report also says that, software and services sector should achieve $60bn in export revenue by 2009/2010. Having one of the youngest and largest English speaking well educated populations in the world is just a couple of reasons (of many) on why India is the front runner in this knowledge Industry.

However, some researches like the one prepared by IDC predict that China may overtake India in IT offshoring as early as 2011. Ofcourse, I do not buy that. Not because I am an Indian, but I sincerely think China does not have what it takes to overtake India in IT sector in next 4 years as put forth by the IDC Global Delivery Index.
Here is an excerpt from the IDC report.

IDC has developed a new Global Delivery Index (GDI), which compares 35 cities in the Asia/Pacific as potential offshore delivery centers, based on a comprehensive set of criteria such as cost of labor, cost of rent, language skills and turnover rate. In its inaugural findings, Indian cities are highly ranked, while Chinese cities are on the rise and closely nipping at India’s heels. Examples of cities covered include Adelaide, Bangalore, Dalian, Hanoi, and Kuala Lumpur among many others.

Honestly speaking, Mumbai and Bangalore are not the cities that should be even considered now, as these places are completely saturated, but Tier I and II cities in India are having the biggest potential for growth. Cities like Pune, Ahmedabad, Cochin, Mysore, Chandigarh, Patna, Nagpur, and many more are the cities that need to be included in the Global Delivery Index. I bet they will rank much higher on this index than any of the other Asia-Pacific cities. Even if you consider the difference in cost of setting up delivery center in Between Bangalore and Pune/Ahmedabad, it would be less than a half. If you talk to most HR experts, they will tell you that you can find good people resources easily in Tier II cities as compared to Mumbai and Bangalore.

Yes, there are couple of things like wage inflation and infrastructure where Indian cities may not score too highly, but so many other positive factors make Indian Tier II cities a popular choice.

      China overtakes India??????

      Are you kidding

China can’t beat India in IT: Premji

China cannot overtake India in information technology as long as Indian companies maintain the headstart they enjoy in the sector, Azim Premji, chief of IT major Wipro said.

“China lags behind India three to four years in IT and China can never overtake India in the sector so long as it keeps that edge,” Premji told a meeting of the Indian business community in Dubai.

Dwelling upon the core strengths of the Indian IT industry, Premji said the sector which employs 0.8 million people in the country now has the potential to create indirect job opportunities for an additional two million people by 2008.

Exports of IT Services, which currently account for eight per cent of foreign exchange inflows, will account for more than 30 per cent in 2008.

This will probably be the only industry where India will be on par with, or indeed ahead of most developed markets, he said.

Premji, rated as the richest Indian last year, was described as the quintessence of the great Indian dream by Indian Consul General Yash Sinha, who said the country’s IT industry is set for giant leaps on the strength of its human talent.

He made light of the opposition to business process outsourcing in the United States, saying the move will not have much impact on his company since it does little business with the American government.

However, he said globalisation is a two-way street and the US cannot prevent outsourcing from countries like India when it seeks to close its domestic markets for products from outside.

Premji said US manufacturing sector has seen many changes in the past 20 years with bulk of the manufacturing activity moving to countries like China. The same activity is seen in the hi-tech industry now.

Wipro, which has an office in the Dubai Internet City, is currently targeting to reach $50 million in business from the region in two years.

Premji said Wipro will invest heavily in its Middle East business. He said the company started from a small base in the region, but won big contracts from all over the Gulf in the last two years.

The Indian IT major has opened offices in Dubai Internet City as well Saudi Arabia (Al Khobar) and has agents in all Gulf countries.

The company saw over 300 per cent growth in the Middle East, since it set up office there, he said.

      Environmental Record

Tata, along with a Tanzanian company, joined forces to build a soda ash extraction plant in Tanzania. The Tanzanian government is all for the project. On the other hand, environmental activists are opposing the plant because it would be near Lake Natron, and it could possibly affect the lake’s ecosystem and its neighboring dwellers.Tata was planning to change the site of the plant so it would be built 32km from the lake, but the opposition still thinks it would negatively disturb the environment. It could also jeopardize the Lesser Flamingo birds there, which are already endangered. Lake Natron is where two thirds of Lesser Flamingos reproduce. Producing soda ash involves drawing out salt water from the lake, and then disposing the water back to the lake. This process could interrupt the chemical make up of the lake.Twenty-two African nations are against the creation of the project and have signed a petition to stop its construction.

I have been in the IT industry for the past 35 years.

I am not sure how to answer a circular argument where you present proof supporting the original thesis (and the article). First you say “Are you kidding. is this a joke” and then say “as an Indian I cant beleive..”

In the greater scheme of things, as pointed out by the article $50 Bilion that affects only 6 million of the population means NOTHING…China’s trade SURPLUS is many times that number and their reserves are more than a Trillion.

The main reason BJPs Shining Indian campaign failed and they were shown the door was because “shining India” as portrayed by Belly4woods “Delhi-Mumbai-Calcutta” song and dance did not impress 80% of the populace that eeks out a living at less than $1 per day…lower than Sub-Saharan Africa.

      Anecdotal evidence means nothing….

See the cover of Fortune/Forbes magazine…all of Africa is Chinese…

China’s Lenovo is now selling Thinkpads bundled with Chinese software and their lead in manufacturing will increase their software capabilities…while the “computer coolies” in Banglore will be unable to compete with cheaper call centers in the Philipines etc.

There is no comparision….Parag Khanna in his current book “The 2nd world” posted on this site says, India has missed the boat”…. unable to take off…weighted down by the millstone of caste, fetocide, Dalit isolation, Naxalite insurrections, Muslim malcontent, Kashmir intifada, and Northeast rebellions.

Unless and until India takes giant steps to extripate poverty from the bulk of the country and builds its infrastructure, it will remain steeped in penury. There no are signs of this happening. India is wasting $3 Billion on an obsolete, rusty archaic aircraft carrier spoofed up with tri-colored paint. Indias entire misle program has been scrapped…billions wasted…the LCA is still being designed after 20 years. Instead of working on infrastructure, she is wasting $126 Billion on US aircraft. Unless the triumphalist Indian media becomes vigilant in taking the ruling autocratic plutocracy to task…the Pornywood gyrations will remain wet dreams for most Indians..yelling Jai Hind from the mountain tops doesn’t cut it…neither does junkyarders buying and trying to pawn off rubble!

ur reply to the frst post :”India is named after Pakistani Indius…the idiots mis-named the country as India..the land of the Ganges should be Gahngia”..

i’ve not read this entire thing u’ve written nd after reading this comment, won’t ever!!.. Pakistani Indus???(ur spelt it wrong).. the name was given to India much before Pakistan came into existence,,(incase u don’t know, which i doubt)..

then again u’ve said that the “Pakistanis ruled India”.. In a recent Pakistani movie, Khuda ke liye, the hero says sth similar.. did they actually teach u this in ur history class??

Indus Valley older that the Indian civilisations!!?? do u think that all (even sm) of the ppl that live in todays Pakistan (“born” circa 1947) are related to the ppl who lived during that time??..

p.s.: the day was hectic.. thanks for the jokes..

this is a different paradigm. You need to understand a different perspective.

The Indus Valley Civilization exsited on the banks of the Indus. It is Pakistan. It is not India.

The Indian civilisations in on the banks of the Ganges.

The Indus Valley Civilization or the “Pakistani” Civilization (aka Indus Valley Civilization) is older than the “Indian” Civilization (Ganges valley)

The Pakistani Civilization was called Meluhha, Maken and Dilmin. The Mesepotamium civilization was called Urr and Sumer. Who knows tha the Egyuptian civilization was called 5000 years ago. The IVS has nothing to do with India

The IVC buried theri dead, ate meat, did not have horses, did not have a caste sytem, ate beef, were not vegetarian, did not worship the Hindu pantheon, and wrote a language right ot left which was pictographic not (alphabetized like Hindi)..

The religion of the author of the article has no bearing on the facts presented which are all authnticated by international organizations or published by Indian sources. Proper references have been provided.

Investigating the religion of the author may work in “secular India” but is of no consequence to us here at Rupee News.

Our site has critical articles on people of all walks of life, people of different ethnicites, religions and national origin. No one gets a free pass.

Criticism of the USA, France, Germany, Russia, or Pakistan does not elicit comments about the ethnicity of the authors. Why should it matter for criticism of India and why should one country be immune to a critical analysis?

This article was written by Cyber Gandhi of Dalit Network. He is a Dalit.

Depending on your convictions, you may consider the religion of the Dalit author as Hindu or not.

you have a website for godssake! [reudeness edited].. but I am sure you manage a few cheers from your even-shallower target audience.

      1. First you admit the Swastik was an ancient Indian Hindu symbol. Hitler the bad guy start to use it or rather misuse it and is burning in hell for that.
So suddenly the centuries old sign which we used much before Hitler and much before Islam was even concieved becomes connected to Nazis?? Come on you know thats lame…

      2. For those really aware or care.. the HIndu sign goes clockwise and the Swastik is Anti-clockwise. So please dont muddle ur already confused and misguided audience.

You have some interesting info out here – seriously ..but its get diluted in the light of your other misleading, narrowminded and most critically FALSE and fictious, single-agenda driven breast beating.

I think Cyber Gandhi of the Dalit network knows the real Bharat. Funny you mention Kipling who had nothing but cynical disgust for all things “Indian” Read his White man’s burden.

Russell worte nasty things about the Indians as did Winston Churchil, Durant, Toyanbee…

You should have filtered the list. Most of these people didn’t even know where “India” was.

None of them were discussing the statistics that affect the Dalits and the other minorities AFTER independence.

Cyber Gandhi’s perception of India is backed by stastistics and numbers. You are of course enttiled to your opininos about Rupee News. However your opinion is like shooting the messagenger. You have not disputed any of the statistical data listed by Cyber Gandhi in the article. All his data is backed up by appropriate references.

We take strong umbrage at the insinuation which is probably based upon basic bigotry based which portends negatively on the integrity of the comments made against the site.

Rupee News uses a diverse group of authors. The team of columnists (Indias, American, Bangladeshi etc) on the “propoganda site” routinely criticizes the US, UK, Iran, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, France, Holland, Indoenisa, Russia, Pakistan and other countries. The site has also critcised the patron of the ISI, Mr. Musharraf, the army of Pakistan, as well as the ISI itself. Not sure why India should be exempt from a crtical analysis.

      Moin Mian
If you think that Pakistan is a country with great technological and military capabilities, why it had to go with begging bowl to IMF for a $7.5 bn loan?

Today on every parameter where you quote Poverty/inequality in India, similar are the problems of Pakistan, only deeper. Both nations have huge population and illiteracy, so there is bound to be social ills.

Difference is that as a country, India is respected world over-companies and investors are pouring in, everyone wants to do business here, in the same breath as China. But even diplomats do not want to keep their families in Pakistan, leave aside foreign businessmen.Pakistan’s KSE was shut for days, even Saudi Arabia/UAE who you think are friends just because they are Muslim countries, refused to loan money to Pak despite sitting on trillions. So my dear, they are fair weather friends and will go with whoever has might and growth. Finally, IMF threw botis of $7.5bn-that is what the near bankrupt Pak economy is living on.

In today’s world, economy is the real power! Military power and diplomatic influence follows that automatically. No wonder, India is even in consideration for a veto seat on UN Security council, and Pakistan is in consideration to be declared a failed state@ So if you do not put your house in order and focus on development(instead of diverting 25-30% of your revenues to military), you will reach there soon! I genuinely do not want to see Pak go there, an unstable neighbour is not good for anyone.

If Pakistanis spent 1/4 of the time they spend in India bashing on development, they would also be able to reach the moon, buy companies abroad, have freedom of speech, basic human rights, and be regarded as a superpower in the world like India. Your survival would not depend on selling your conscience to the Americans, who are pounding your country repeatedly and your incompetent air force and army watching the violation of your territory helplessly. If you forget Kashmir, then probably you could use some more money for human development, but I guess that is too much to ask…..That singular issue is likely to split Pakistan further…..Cling on to it and all the best with your future….

    41. dinyar · 4 years ago

having read this site for the first time yesterday, i’m struck by its amazing lack of good sense or factual clarity. it only seems to confirm the global belief that pak is a backward retreogressive state with similar thinking people.

for one thing, the swastika isn’t part of the indian flag; neither was it taken from the germans. in fact, hitler copied it for his third reich. further, if you compare the two, one is oriented clockwise, the other anti-clockwise!

for whatever it’s worth, you guys are your own worst enemies and are doing more harm to yourselves than india or anyone possibly could.

good luck with reaping the whirlwind in the taliban and other forms islamic extremism which you have yourselves created.

in a nutshell, india is bad in many ways, but pak is worse. and however much you may not like the idea, india is far more powerful – and the next time, may not be as lenient as it’s been in the past. there’s only so much that anyone can be pushed.

    42. Akhbar Navees · 4 years ago

Our article clearly says that Hindu extremist organizations use the Swastika as a triple entendre. Two of the reaons is as you say, but there is a third one–which is mentioned in our article. Please visit hinuunity.org which wants to change the Bharti flag. It is on the agenda of the RSS, the BJP and the VHP etc.

Reading the same old articles in the same old newspapers will surely yield the same old results–a mind set like yours which refuses to accept the reality.

You can revel in your own, close your eyes, and be deaf to what the world is saying–anyone that writes the truth is maligned and characterized in a certain way.

How do you know “Pakistan is worse”? It must be the media that you read.

Pakistan has a higher PER CAPITA GNP than Bharat, a higher standard of living thatn Bharat and it does not have the abject poverty of Bharat. More than half the populations of Delhi, Mumbia, Kolkota, Lucknow sleep on the sidewalks and the city charges rent.

According toe hunger index, Bharat is the lowest in South Asia nad below Burkino Faso. 75% of the Bharti population lives below Sub-Saharan penury levels.

The much heralded IT industry (actually just low tech “call centers” is only $42 Billion and going down fast. After Satyam the others will aslo fall because all of them cook numbers and lie. $42 Billion is a glorified number anyway. In the past two decades the Bharti computer coloolies have been unable to produce any software, hardware or “khirkis” or any innovative product or service which would give it commercial success or a lasting advantage. “I am Ted, May I help you” does not last no matter how much “Ted” (actually Raj) tries to speak with an American accent. In 2 seconds it is apparent that Ted is sitting on a bench in Banglore and doesn’t have a clue on how to deal with US customers. The Chinese real IT insdustry is going up because of its internal manufacturing base and efficiency. Pakistan’s IT industry is going to be $11 Billion by 1015 and grow exponentially becuase it is tied to real numbers and can take advantage of the FTA with China and better Arabic and Persian services to the Middle East hungry for Pakistani services.

There is no inherent advantage to stick to Bharat becuase the only advantage that Bharat offered was cost. The Chinese learn and speak better English becauce ofa better infrastructure etc. China and the Phillipines are offereing lower rates so there is tremendous flight and after Mumbai this will increase. The “Call Center” industry affects only 6 million people. Bharats loans are more than $200 billion.

Why don’t you stick to “Bharat is superpower” media outlets if you want to mantain your deminted vision of the world.

Rupee News presents unique and different points of view. We criticize any and all–the USA, UK, Germany, Japan, China, Holland, and Pakistan. Why would Bharat be an excpetion? In fact we have been banned by many Dutch and Pakistani sites for exactly the same reaons that you mention.

Bharat is the culprit in the instablitiy in Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sikkim, Bhutan and Pakistan. It also tried it in Tibet. Much of this is documented in Barrister Munshi’s “The India Doctrine” and also in various artilces by Dr. Isha Khan on this site.

Wake up and smell the coffee.

After 1998, it does not matter how many toys Bharat buys. The fact is that Pakistan is a nuclear power and Bharat cannot touch it. Bharatis may come to the rude awakening that MUTUALLY ASSURED DESTRUCTION (MAD) is the great equalizer, and Bharat cannot cross the Pakistani border ever. If it does 250 Bharati cities will go up in smoke and the it will give the people of the Khyber pass to come down in droves after a 1000 years to rake up the ashes of nuclear waste and reenact the 4th battle of Panipat and the acts of Mahmud of Ghazni.

According to Prime Minsiter Manmohan Singh “you are your worst enemy”. 40% of the Bharati land mass in the control of the Naxalites, 450 pissied off Dalits and 150 million disgruntled Bharati Muslims, Kashmir up in arms, Assam and the Norhteast in open rebellion and Khalistan seeting with hatred. Bharat is ready to explode like Yugoslavia or implode like the USSR.

      http://siteresources.worldbank.org/DATASTATISTICS/Resources/GNIPC.pdf

For the past 60 years the Pakistan Per capita GNP has always been higher than that of Bharat. Even though 2007 was a particularly bad year for Pakistan but even in 2007 it was slightly higher.

Irregardless of the numbers, the Pakistanis never see the poverty that is seen in Bharat. A visitor from Pakistan is hit by the wall of penury and cannot fathom it. Pakistan has a better infrastructure (roads, bridges, highways) and better built towns (Islamabad is a modern city like the US totally built from scratch). Lahore has been beautified so much that is is one of the finest cities in the Subcontinent. Karachi a small sleepy village in the 40s is a world class town with modern flyovers, and posh centers. There are slums in all cities and Pakistan is a third world country but its cities are better than the ones in the neighborhood.

If Bharat keeps up the wars with all her neighbors, China (Tibet) Sri Lnaka (LTTE), Sikkim and Bhutan (Tribals), Bangladesh (Chakma) it will blow up any chance of economic success and slip back into penury.

Educated people know that the global financial crisis and astronomical increase in oil prices created a banace of payment issue which led to many countries seeking additional loans–Sweden and many European countries as well as the US and the UK faced the consequences of this global phenomenon. The UK nationalized almost all its banks and the US borrowed money worth about 2 Trillion Dollars to deal with their crisis. Pakistan simply borrowed $5 Billion. It has faced issues because of the occupation of Afghanistan.

The financial balance of payment has nothing to do with the IT industry or the textile industry. The situation has eased because oil prices are down. Argentine and Brazil and many other countries faced similar issues in the past. Even India faced huge balance of payment issues in the 80s. Today Bharat’s is one of the largest owners of det, mroe than $200 Billion. In this topsy turvy world, a small glitch like Mumbia and the entire thing comes tumbling down and the reserves vanish.

You attempt to score points shows illiteracy and bigotry nothing else.

    49. Akhbar Navees · 4 years ago

Not sure what you are saying–no facts no figures as usual, just opinion which is published but that does not make it a fact.

We tried to explain the problem to you. Bharat has borrowed $200 billion and is one of the largest borrowers on the planet or to use your terminology- beggers. In modern economics it is not called “begging”, it is sometimes not even called “loans”, it is called “aid”. So Bharat is the largest recipient of this “aid” (actually loans) in the world.

If we use your logic Bharat is the biggest begger in the world.

Bharat is ten times larger than Pakistan. Its economy is NOT ten times bigger. International economists have come up with a system to compare economies. They take the entire economy and then divide it by the population. This gives a per capita income. This is a robust way to compare economic development.

This comparitive analysis is called PER CAPITA GROSS NATIONAL PRODUCT (GNP). When the economy of Bharat is compared with Pakistan, the per caipta GNP shows that Pakistan has always had a higher GNP/per capita. Pakistan has had a higher GNP/per capita for the psat 60 years. Even in 2007 after Pakistan had barely recovered from one of the most devastating earthquakes on the planet (affecting 1.5 million people) and a crippling increase in oil prices (from $40 per barrel to $180 per barrel). These two jolts createda huge balance of payment problem which has now been resolved by:

      1) A dramatic downturn in oil prices
      2) Leveling of food prices
      3) A restructuring of the budget deficit
      4) Some help from the IMF in an additional loan of about $5 Billion.

The additional IMF loan simply helps with the deficit. It does not run the country or provide “aid” to run anything.

Bharat, Argentina, Brazil went through similar restructuring many times in the past half century. This is nothing strange or amazing..just the way things work in economics.

Pakistan has many issues, but here are the facts supported by international statistics and many articles on this site. You will never be able to either comprehend this or accept this. However this is fact:

      1) On the hunger index, Bharat ranks the lowest in South Asia. Compared to the wrold it ranks below Burkino Faso. This means that there are more hungry people in Bharat than anyplace on the planet. But it also means that Bharatis are more hungries than Nepalese, and Pakistanis.
      2) Sub Sharan Africa is the poorest region on the planet plagued by civil war, draughts, and climate warming that has destroyed agriculture. More than 75% of Bharatis live below Sub Saharan Africa.
      3) While Bharat has had a good economic growth in the past decade around 9%, other countires in the world also have had good growth. China has had sustained growth for more than 25 years of around 15%. The Chine growth is multi-facted and the wealth becuase of the Socialistic system trickled down to the masses. China invested in infrastructure, freeways, dams, schools and manufacturing.
      4) Bharat has also had good economic growth, but the wealth got concentrated in a few hands. Bharat has billionaires but the investment in infrastructure remains pathetic. Though Bharat has a few good universities, it has been unable to duplicate them on a mass level. Depending on the survey the IIT may or may not appear on the top 500 list of universities. Even a Saudi university and the Pakistani Agha Khan University appears on the list of top universities. Bharat has been unable to create universal or robust primary education. Bharat’s $42 Billion IT industry is a drop in the ocean and cannot sustain Bharati growth. The Chinese IT industry is now about the same size and growing. Pakistan’s IT industry is not Call Center based though part of it is Call Centers. It is about one foruth of the Bharti industry but it is exponentially growing due to two major reasons–proximity to China (taking advantage of the Free Trade Agreement with China) and proximity to the Middile East (most Pakistanis can read, and write Arabic). Bharati Call centers offered a cost advantage. Already the IT companies are moving their call centers.
      5) Therefore the bottom line is that Bharat remains one of the poorest countries in the world. Visitors are hit by the wall of penury that they are not accustomed to. Pakistanis visiting Bharat cannot comprehend it.

Bharatis cannot grasp these realities. It is not possible to comprehend these simple facts. Growing up on temple education that tells them that Pakistanis are malich converted Dalits (therefore they only deserve contempt) and weaned on a very antagonistic and triumphalist Bharati media which caters to the English speakers (a very tiny minority). Throw in the recent alliances in the Middleeast and the Murdocs influence on the world media, and you have a very strange Bharati media that has an agenda–belittle and demonize Pakistan. The Bharati media is peppered with think tank quotes which have a known agenda. Readers think that because this is written by a “gora” it must be true. In actuality it is this think tank industry which is based on agendas and led the US into two unnecessary wars. America has rejected this thinking–Those reading this media re incapable of comprehending reality.

      We wish you well

The Bharati Nuclear deal with the USA came at the cost of Bharat’s relationship with Iran. Something that young graduates of the “Compuer Coolie school” cannot comprehend is that by giving Bharat the Nuclear deal the USA controls half of Bharat’s Nuclear program and if Bharat ever conducts another test, the entiere program will fall through and the USA will retrieve all technology.

Russia sent stripped down versions of its planes, did not transfer technolgy and has uppped the price on all equipment. Its a business deal.

All of Indi’a Rockets have failed. 1) Agni 2) Pirthivi 3) Akash 4) Trishul and 5) Nag 6) Agni.

Prithvi: Failure: To date the only reliable delivery system inducted is the Pirthvi missile with a range of 300 kilometres. The subsequent versions of this missile are still undergoing tests. The pride of India the Agni missile tested last time landed 200 kilometres off target.

Akash: Failure: After several years of testing has been shelved for reasons best known to the Indians. Akash was meant as a substitute for Pechora. On the Akash missile, which was the subject of the DRDO media conference here on Tuesday, former air chief S. P. Tyagi said:“Akashwas to be ready at a certain time, but it wasn’t. I had to change everything to make up for the delay.” Both missiles were part of a programme to develop indigenous weapons, which began in July 1983, with plans for Agni, Prithvi, Trishul, Akash and Nag missiles.

Trishul: Failure: Trishul is being replaced by Israeli Barak and Russian systems. Trishul, for instance, has been tested over 80 times so far without coming anywhere near becoming operational. It was, in fact, virtually given up for dead in 2003 after around Rs 300 crore was spent on it, before being revived yet again.

Nag: Failure: The Nag proved to be as deadily as the Holy Cow.

Agni:Failure: The Agni-I (range 700 to 800 kilometers) and Agni-II were both products of India’s space program and connected to its Integrated Guided Missile Development Program (IGMDP), itself launched in 1983. Originally, their design used a satellite space-launching rocket (SLV-3) as the first stage, on top of which was mounted the very short-range (150 to 250 kilometers) liquid fuel-propelled Prithvi missile.

Pakistan was an area that comprised of those parts of the subcontinent which were the most backward, the least developed and most depressed economically. In the past 60 years Pakistanis have created space for the Muslims of that area and have competed with the most developed part of the Subcontinent and achieved parity and have improved their lot.

Pakistanis are better off economically despite the Gloabl War on terror.

the figures are true but some are distorted ,
you mentioned ” Pakistan is among Seven countries that launch their own satellites ”
pakistan has’nt got satellite launching capacity, check on wikipedia the 7 th country you are talking about in wikipedia is mentioned as india.
Pakistan space programmme is lagging behind India, pakistan has to rely on China for the technology.
I dont know how many pakistan pharma companies have entered west, but indian companies have already made there mark in UK,like Reddy ‘s lab,Ranbaxy, there are supplier for the NHS in UK.

India is a leader in medical tourism, americans are now coming to india for heart and orthpaedic operaton. check this on google .

Thank you for acknowledging that our facts our correct. If there is any discrepancy ever, we immediately correct it.

Enough information has been provided to you. We never expected you to read all of it or be convinced. It is not in your genetic disposition to accept any good things about Pakistan–only what is doled out in the Bharati biased media. The world is very different than what you perceive it to be.

Of course it is not our job to convince you. We simply report the news and 20,000 to 80,000 people from around the globe read our thoughts and ideas.

Wikipedia is known biased source with a whole bunch of “computer collie graduates” distorting it. American schools do not accept it as a source.

      http://rupeenews.com/2008/10/24/india-as-a-space-power/

Read this story carefully ( Russia To Aid India On Second Mission To Moon). It is hard to read through the gobbledygook but even in the [India (PTI) Nov 04, 2008)] Times of India article this admission comes through “Project director of Chandrayaan-1 Mayilsami Annadurai said….The lander will be from Russia. The Russian space agency is cooperating with us. The rover will be a joint development between Russia and India

Bharat has to rely on Russian technology plus tricolored pain to make anything. Even then they have failed to make a LCA (20 yeras in the design cycle and no plane). The entire missile program based on Russian technology does not work. Bharat also does not have “launch capability”. As the article reported and as the Bharatis have also acknowledged (per the article published) Russia will provide the launchers for the 2nd launch. Bharat’s entire program is based on the Scout program etc. etc.

Of course Pakistan has satellite launch capability: http://rupeenews.com/2008/04/17/pakistan-space-and-upper-atmosphere-research-commission-suparco/

Pakistan has ICBM capability. When asked by the Americans whats the difference between ICBM capability and satellite launch capability, the famous answer is “attitude”. Pakistan’s SUPARCO has has plans for space launching

The Satyam phenomenon is rampant in the Bharati IT industry–exaggeration and lies. I have intimate knowledge of this from Tata etc. The other lies will also come forth.

Bharati pharmaceuticals are increasingly barred from clinical testing becuase of similar issues and Bharati pharmas are not allowed to export to the US because of quality issues.

Medical Tourism is long on promise and short on results. Most Americans or Europeans would be crazy to go to Bharat for treatment. Almost anybody who is somebody comes to the USA for treatment! Even Cuba has a colossal and fantastic medical system which caters to the poor. Cuba is the least hungriest nation on earth, while Bharat is at the bottom of the barrel, and the poorest in South Asia. Bharat is right above Burkino Faso. SOme progress for a “super power”.

Medical treatment in rat infested cockroach populated Bharti hospitals has limited propaganda value of taking a few poor kids and offering them free treatment from other countries. Most Pakistani poor refuse to go to Bharat even if they cannot afford treatment in the best trauma centers on the planet–Agha Khan, Shaukat Khanum, Baqai etc etc.

Check this on “google” informs us of your news sources. A website does not an industry make.

Your correct response is “I don’t know”.

moin tell me another thing why after so many years of friendship pakistan gained nothing from usa ,where as india got the civilian nuclear deal without much of a hardwork
this not a flame bait or fire for fire, but this is a simple question, dont give internet links on the reply bit, but give a answer if u have one.

    67. Akhbar Navees · 4 years ago

      Amritrao:

If you don’t want to read the details in an answer, why ask a rhetorical question?

Most of your questions have been answered in detailed articles, that is why we give you the links. This question too has been discussed in much detail.

Quick answer: While Bharat celebrates the advent of the “New East Indian Company” to Delhi, most Bharatis do not realize the poison pills in the agreement which have been highlighted by the Communists and the Leftist parties in Bharat also.

The 123 deal places Bharat under the Hyde Act. See comments by Jimmy Carter below:

The Hyde Act was passed and signed by President George W. Bush to define appropriate terms of the proposed U.S.-India nuclear agreement. Both laws were designed to encourage universal compliance with basic terms of the Non-Proliferation Treaty, which has been accepted by more than 180 nations.

The Nuclear Suppliers Group is a 45-nation body that – until now – has barred nuclear trade with any nation that refuses to accept international nuclear standards. Tremendous political pressure from the United States and India has recently induced the group’s members to reverse their historic position; they even declined to clarify penalties in the event of a resumption of nuclear testing by India. No one knows what secret deals were made to gain the necessary votes. Specific information about all facets of the agreement needs to be shared with the U.S. Congress to assure full conformance of the U.S.-Indian agreement with the Hyde Act and other laws.

      http://rupeenews.com/2008/09/12/us-indian-123-nuclear-deal-puts-planet-at-risk-by-jimmy-carter/

A Democratic President with a Democratic Congress will begin the tighten the screws on Delhi. The same happened to Pakistan on the Pressler Amendment.

      1) By selling plants and not the technology US companies make a lot of money in Bharat. Private companies selling products to Bharat will never commit commercial suicide and transfer the secret “coke formula” to Bharat…so Bharat will be a lifetime member of their services.
      2) Bharat had open up half of her nuclear plants to the USA
      3) The US now totally controls the supply of nuclear materials in and out of Bharat.
      4) The US got Bharat to sign the NPT and the MTCT without Delhi actually signing it.
      5) Bharat therefore can never explode or test another nuclear device.
      6) Bharat is now constrained by intrusive inspections to the the US and IAEA.

Pakistan already has a nuclear deal with China–Chasnupp 3, Chasnupp 4, Chasnupp 5 etc etc. without any strings. attached. http://rupeenews.com/2008/10/15/pakistan-already-has-a-nuclear-deal-with-china-india-trying-to-raise-expectations-to-portend-failure/

China already has setup two nuclear power plants Chasnupp 1 (300 MW) and Chasnupp 2 (300 MW). The Chashma Nuclear Power Plant is located at Chashma, Punjab, Pakistan. It consists of Chashma Nuclear Power Plant I (CHASNUPP-1) and Chashma Nuclear Power Plant II (CHASNUPP-2). CHASNUPP-3 (600MW under construction) and CHASNUPP-4 (2000 MW planned to be completed before 2030) are in the planning stages

    68. amritrao · 4 years ago

the deal is good for india as it will meet its energy hunger,
Chashma Nuclear Power Plant II (CHASNUPP-2). CHASNUPP-3 (600MW under construction) and CHASNUPP-4 is a ghost plant without raw material, nsg will not supply nuclear stuff to pakistan and ameriaca is not going to do a similar deal with pakistan.

    69. Akhbar Navees · 4 years ago

      http://rupeenews.com/2008/12/28/pakistan-china-friendship-ensures-that-chasnupp-3-4-on-track/

If you already know everything then there is no point in discussing this. Please stick to your own news sources which continue to triumph the superpower and the Blue water navy that cannot protect the Mumbai shoreline but can sink Thai trawlers as “motherships”.

PS: Just last month the TOI made a huge issue on the construction of C-4 and C-5. China has grandfathered the supply of raw material to Pakistan. Pakistan does not need NSG, there are many sources–without strings!!!!

The naivete, incompetence and emotional decadence of the Indian press amazes us time and again. Now we have another “eureka moment” by the Rip Van Winkle Indian press. Stop all presses! All of a sudden the Hindustan Times has discovered that work on the Chasnupp 3 and Chasnupp 4 is progressing per schedule. Indian spies may have woken up the reality that the work on Chasnupps had never stopped. Pakistan and China had agreed to build the Chasnupp way back, a decade ago when construction of the first Chasnupps had begun.

Chasnupp 3 and Chasnupp 4 had always been in the plan. In actuality there are more than 4 Chasnupps in the works. Rupee News had published details of the Chasnupps a bout two years ago. It just goes to show that India has never reconciled to the notion that Pakistan is a nuclear power. Actually it has never reconciled to the notion that Pakistan is an independent country. The day India does that, there maybe peace in the Subcontinent

moin your knowledge about Medical Tourism ” is long on promise and short on results. Most Americans or Europeans would be crazy to go to Bharat for treatment.”

You have no idea how many billions of dollars india is making and it is ever growing the so called tourists who visits india to see taj mahal actually come for medical treatment ,if you dont know this ask any one.

    71. Akhbar Navees · 4 years ago

      Billions?

I don’t need to ask anyone. I was involved in many outsourcing ventures. It is long on promise and short on substance!

Bharat does not offer world class facilities and their mediocre facilities are really shoddy. Travel costs and transportation costs make it prohibitive for minor surgeries.

It may be a lot cheaper to fly in doctors, but the US right now is flooded with doctors. Poorer areas of the US offer much cheaper and world calss facilities as does Mexico and Canada. Insurance companies are reluctant to fund overseas medical care because of the fraud issues

There is no competitive advantage, and no barriers to entry in this sort of service industry. The moment the client finds a cheaper source they will utilize it.

Anyway good luck to Bharatis cleaning excrement sanitizing bed pans, and massaging the goras.

Moin – Another feather added to India ‘s scientific developement

      News in BBC

Research In Hydrebad has found a new gene involve d in Heart Attack —
: Mutation in the genes involved in mainitaining the structure of cardiac muscle can lead to a sudden cardiac arrest, says a study.

A study conducted by the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) stated that mutation in the gene, Myosin Binding Protein-C (MYBPC3), can cause heart attacks leading to sudden death.

Although there are many causes of heart attack, some are also linked to genetic disorders or lifestyle, said Dr Lalji Singh, Director of CCMB who conducted the research told reporters here.

JEALOUS is what i see above nothing more than that…
As a Muslim In India i feel safe and may be problems in
hindu majority area for muslims and problems for hindus in muslim majority areas of India But indian consitution law consider all are equal and give freedom to every citizen. politicians may
use the name religion ya caste for vote .Religious faith may be different but we indians share
a common culture not pakisthanis, India 4 th Armed power nation in the world and having good friend named russia can go over America too but pakistan is begging for each dollar (named fight against terror) before america. This words are not against pakisthan by an indian national and it only shows the economic instablity of pakisthan government.and question arise who is the current leader in pakisthan (Zardari… who cant find who killed his wife ,Kayani..Who wish to play game behind the screen).Insha allah may a good and logical leader arise in that country

To pakisthanis u only know india and indian muslims from the fake journals u read and its simply very very bad than reality

    79. Akhbar Navees · 4 years ago

Inability to read is pervasive in many quarters. The article was written by an India from New Delhi India. Cyber Gandhi a Dalit belonging to the Dalit Freedom Network.

Dr. Abdul ruff an Indian regularly writes about the condition of Indian Muslims.

The name Kamarudin Basheer is obviously a fake name, because Hindus do not know how to make Muslim names. There is a technique to it..

Have the guts to use your own name

      Akhbar Navees,

I am a IT professional. My Muslim friend named Faiz Ahmed was sent on invitation to a delegation with the objective to establish call centers of nascent BPO industry in Pakistan.
I was in Texas, US where in my SW company, there were more than 95 % of about 220 foreign associates (Company strength about 950+) were Indians. Most of us seniors were all in to lead lead positions & middle positions. We had one Pakistani associate Maqsood form Bhawalpur whom we invited in our monthly Indian associates lunch and we spoke about Pakistan -India. With me was another Muslim friend Adnan Ali Khan from Patna. We could see how he felt and we felt sorry for him him, so we avoided all talk about Pakistan. Moin, you don’t have to trash him for his his thoughts & conversations. I read you all above and I find you are the type who will extract my lines and write nasty false story lines over it and claim some Cyber Dalit or some Munshi or some Indian or foreign media report to discredit my writings. There is Bible’s quote “Devil quotes the scriptures”. At least do it in cyber world since you can’t do it in real person. Please remember Buddhas saying, “Your anger inside you for anyone (read Indians) is like holding a burning red hot coal in your hand with the idea of throwing on us, Fact is you are getting burnt. Your whole writeup etc indicates that. Tata own the Pakistani overseas communication. Moin have a positive attitude towards all world people and specially Indians on whom you wrote against a lot. Regards Rajesh

      Sutch:
      Thank you for your feedback.
We have provided information on the Dalits with facts and figures. Dr. Ruff has provided information on Bharati Muslims based on the report of the Federal Government.

We have also in these columns and in responses to you shown you the GNP per capita comparisions as well as the comparisions as listed in the “Hunger Index”.

Your repitition of the above line probably won’t convince anyone on this site. Though it is possible, but not probably that readers will fully endorse your views. You are more than most welcome to continue to believe the mirage perpetuated by Bollywood porn and the hype created by the Bhaarati media–always long on promise and short of delivery.

We think we already clrified “Taliban” to you in several posts. Even Prime Minister gilani’s comments made today blame the “foreign hand” in attempting to destabilize Pakistan. It will not succeed. See the mechanations of RAW in Bangladeshi Barrister Munshi’s seminal book “India Doctrine”.

Once again, we do thank you for reading Rupee News and we do value your comments irreigrdless of the content of your thougts.

      Best Regards,

74% of Pakistan’s population, or 122 million people, live under $2 a day, compared to 72.2% for Sub-Saharan Africa.[5], and some 15%, or 30 million people live under $1 a day.[6]Wealth Distribution in Pakistan is highly uneven, with 10% of the population earning 27.6% of income[7]According to the United Nations Human Development Report, Pakistan’s human development indicators, especially those for women, fall significantly below those of countries with comparable levels of per-capita income.40% of the population has no access to safe drinking water, and 50% has no access to sanitation. Pakistan also has a higher infant mortality rate (88 per 1000) than the South Asian average (83 per 1000).[8]

GENDER MURDER IN INDIA:-10 million baby girls killed before and after birth

INDIA 1990: 25 million more males than females in India.
INDIA 2001: The male female gender gap had risen to 35 million.
INDIA Now 50 million. 51 districts in India now have more male babies born compared to female, according to UNICEF. “In 80 per cent of districts in India, the situation is getting worse“.
According to a recent United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) State of the World Population Report, these practices, combined with neglect, have resulted in at least 50 million “missing” girls in India

According to a recent report by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) up to 50 million girls and women are missing from India’ s population as a result of systematic gender discrimination in India. In most countries in the world, there are approximately 105 female births for every 100 males.

In India, there are less than 93 women for every 100 men in the population. The accepted reason for such a disparity is the practice of female infanticide in India, prompted by the existence of a dowry system which requires the family to pay out a great deal of money when a female child is married. For a poor family, the birth of a girl child can signal the beginning of financial ruin and extreme hardship.

Pakistan has never claimed to be a superpower, or an economic juggernaut.

Please also note that Pakistan exists in the area of South Asia that before 1947 was the most backward, the most economically depressed and and area that suffered the most under the Hindu and Sikh feudals.

In 1947 there was one Textile mill and one jute mill that did not work. Pakistan had only one university. All this has dramatically improved when the yoke of the British and the Brahman landlords was removed.

Other than 2007 the Pakistani stock market had been showing a growth of 35% and Pakistani stock market in the first quarter of 2008 was the best in the world in terms of growth. This year the growth has fallen to 3.4% from 9% for the past decade.

The GNP per capita is higher than that of Bharat and Pakistan does not have the rampant poverty that one sees in Bharati cities. Pakistan has better infrastructure, roads, airports and facilities.

Infant mortlaity plagues Pakistan and has to be taken care of.

Pakistan has no goals of Superpower stardom. Pakistanis are simply working hard to give their citizens a better standard of living. In 47 Pakistan comprised of the most depressed parts of South Asia. It had one textile mill and one jute mill, and one university. Now it had thousands of factories and hundreds of univerisities. Tremendous progress has been made.

OK let us look at the numbers from the source you picked

Dr. Ishrat Hussain is a nationalist and an Indian. Her coamprision is fair and sheds a lot of light on the situation. Some of her comments are opinions. The statistics show the picture.

Fourth, the areas where Pakistan has performed better than India. The economic growth rate of Pakistan has been consistently higher than India. Starting from almost the same level or slightly lower level in 1947, Pakistan’s per capita income today in US nominal dollar terms is one-third higher (430 versus 320) and in purchasing parity dollar terms is two-third higher (2,310 versus 1,280). The latter suggests that the average Pakistani has enjoyed better living standards and consumption levels in the past but the gap may be narrowing since early 1990s. Had the population growth rate in Pakistan been slower and equaled that of India, this gap would have been much wider and the per capita income in Pakistan today would have been twice as high and the incidence of poverty further down.

Although both India and Pakistan have pursued inward-looking strategies, the anti-export bias in case of Pakistan has been comparably lower and the integration with the world market faster. The trade-GDP ratio in PPP terms is twice that of all South Asian countries. Pakistan’s export growth has been stronger and the composition of exports has shifted from primary to manufactured goods; albeit the dominance of cotton-based products has enhanced its vulnerability.

Domestic investment rates in Pakistan have remained much below those of India over the entire span primarily due to the relatively higher domestic savings rates in the latter. But the efficiency of investment as measured by the aggregate incremental capital-output ratio or total factor productivity has been higher in case of Pakistan and, to some extent, compensated the lower quantity of investment.

      CONCLUSION

What is the bottom line then? The overall record looks mixed. Pakistan scores high on income and consumption growth, poverty reduction and integration with the world economy.

How does the future look like? Since 1991, both India and Pakistan have embarked on a policy of liberalization, outward orientation and faster integration with the global economy. The initial responses have been very positive. As outlined earlier, portfolio and foreign direct investment flows in the last few years have surpassed those accumulated over the last 20-25 years. Indian exports recorded an increase of 50 percent since 1991 while Pakistan, despite a setback due to failure of successive cotton crops, have expanded by two-thirds since 1990.

The only real criteria of comparision of one country with the other is PER CAPTA GNP–and Pakistan for the past 60 years has been higher than that of Bharat.

Any visitor to Pakistan immediately sees that Pakistanis on the average have a much better standard of living than India.Bharat is a much poorer country than Pakistan–in infrastructure, roads, freeways, banking, bridges, buildings, airports, ports, cities, housing subdivisions, shanty town and general outlook of people. Mumbai has 18 million living in shanty towns. No Pakistani city comes close. The level of poverty in Pakistan is not so pervasive. Millions in Bharat sleep on the sidewalk and defecate on the rail lines. This is not the case in Pakistan

Bharat’s “below poverty line” standards are half that of Pakistan. If Pakistan used the “Bharati standards” it would have fewer people “below the poverty line”–the comparison of “below the poverty line” is false. if you break down the $2 per day to $1 per day, you will see most Bharati’s under that level while most Pakistanis are not.

The US has the worst failed economy on the planet. Pakistan is facing difficulties because of the war in Afghanistan. From a composite level Dr. Ishrat Husain (a nationalist female Indian) has done a comparative analysis which shows Pakistan with a higher growth rate of the past 60 years. There is a different Dr. Isharat Husain who is a male from Pakistan, but the analysis in question was done by Ms. Ishrat Husain from india.

In the 90s Pakistan faced international sanctions because of its Nuclear program but the growth was much higher than the anemic growth of Bharat since 1947.

slum areas, such as Dharavi, are working communities in their own right, with their own economy and social structure, whereas others, such as Orangi, karachi are ‘black holes of misery and despair’.

The DATED article could have been written about any city in the world. Lagos, Mumbai, Manila–every city has the same and similar issues–an exploding population and rural people coming to live in it causing issues.

Karachi was a sleepy fishman’s village in 47. Today is a mega city–a metropoliis, an industrial center and a major port of the world competing with Mumbai and surpassing itin its planning, beutifyul skyscrapers, freeways, flyovers, and magnificent housing colonies like Defense and Clifton which look like the USA and are better than Europe.

      http://rupeenews.com/2008/11/11/best-mayor-in-the-world-building-best-city-in-the-world/

Orangi is a small township far away from Karachi. It is not “shantytown”, just a poor place to live. Orangi is made up of fishermen and their families have been living there for cneturies. It has been in the mainstream of Sindhi life for decades. Half of Mumbia is a slum. Karachi does not have the pervasice poverty as seen in Mumbai EVERYWHERE.

Its not just Mumbai, its Kolkota and hell hole of the planet, and Dlehi, Lucknow, Benaras–the samller cities are simple shanty town in Bharat.

Karachi has been the target of Indian RAW attacks for decades. One of the worst ones was in the 90s when Bori bazaar was blown up in retaliation for the Pakistani support for Anti-USSR forces. India was on the wrong side of history then and it was on the wrong side of history now

Pakistan has built six major new cities with masterplans and grid roads all connected by freeways–Bharat …NONE

    95. Akhbar Navees · 4 years ago

The indices mean nothing to the 450 million Dalits/Sudras and the 150 million Mulsims, and the Naxalites who control 40% of Bharati territory. The numbers are fudged like those of Satyam.

One thw whole the Pakistani population does not sleep on the sidewalks of the cities, does not toil on the bicycle rishshaws and does not live in the destitute prisons of caste penury. The society is not as stratified, and the difference between the rich and the poor is not as much.

At a social level zakat provides safety nets, as do social programs and unemployment programs. The rural population has evolved on its own pace. Sialkot is the only city in the world that built their own private airport rivaling that of Singapore, and it is run efficiently.

Pakistan had a healht care issue. Infant mortlaity is very high. This brings the entire index down. In 47 there was only one university, one textile mill and a jute mill which did not work. From there Pakistan has achieved a higher growth rate thatn Bharat for the past six years. Take the entire period not just this decade. Even this devade Pakistan’s growth rate was 7%-9%. This year it is recovering while the rest of the world is in doldrums.

There is no city in Bharat like Islamabad–modern, well planned and efficient. Pakistna has built six cities like that the envy of South Asia

You have just proven in your multiple posts that Bharat (aka India) is just a third world country, in most aspects worse off even the poorest countries of Africa like Barkino Faso and Chad, and in a couple of parameters SLIGHTLY better than Pakistan. Even in areas in which is has a slight edge, the difference is within the margin of error and the difference is minute in real terms.–keeping in mind that Pakistan was made up of the most backward areas of the Subcontinent (the main reason for the creation of Pakistan)…

One decade does not make a track record. While your optimism is applaudable it does not match with the imperfect and flawed record of what is laughingly called the anemic Hindu growth rate. Even if Bharat grows at a ten percent growth rate (impossible), it will take Bharat 300 years to eliminate poverty in the caste ridden, penury infested stratified cast society which enslaves more than 450 million scheduled classes and marginalizes (refute the Sachar report if you can) 150 million Muslims. Bollywood notwithstanding, only Brahmans cannot lead the conglomeration of states called Bharat into the 21st century.

Pakistan has checkmated Bharat, the end is near of Bharati intentions in Afghanistan–keep those bags packed in Kabul. The era of a Bush backed growth in Bharat is over. Without the outsourcing, Bharat is looking it the same old anemic growth rate that has been the bane of Asia for the past half century. Other countries have overtaken Bharat.

Delhi will remain penury infested ’till it changes its attitude towards Pakistan (read Muslims) and the Dalits and the Naxalites, Mizus, Khalistanis, Assamese, Kashmiris, Hyderabadis etc etc. Bharat has been on the wrong side of history during the First Afghan war and in supporting the Karzai puppet it is on the wrong side of history. Delhi has chosen to work against the poor Palestinians and the Muslims around the world are mad at it.

Bharatis are unable to see themselves in the mirror of reality—unable to see the slums of Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkota, Lucknow, Benaras–opaque to the suffering of the Dalits, and the Muslims and unable to see beyond their hate for Pakistan. Bharat is not on the way towards superpwoer, it is ready to implode like the USSR or explode like Yugoslavia

While your optimism is applaudable it does not match with the imperfect and flawed record of what is laughingly called the anemic “Hindu Growth Rate” (by Indians–Nepal, Sikkim, Bhutan and Bharat). Watch out for the Hyde Amendment, the poison pill in the Indo_US Nuclear deal, and watch out for Russian sales to Bharat–selling India “flying” junk.

Your self contradictory arguments display your flawed paradigm that Pakistan somehow needs to emulate the failed, penury stricken, poverty infested, caste ridden Bharati model which documented an anemic growth rate for the last half century (the anomaly of the last decade notwithstanding).

Your comments seem to indicate that you know more about Pakistan than Pakistanis. Your rhetoric seems to say that you know what is good for Pakistan, while Pakistanis don’t. This sort of mental illness, perhaps based on Brahamanism, or derived from a temple education keeps Bharatis in the hell holes of Kolkota, Mumbai where it thrives A country that enslaves 450 million of her citizens (US Congress, UNO, Human Rights Commission), marginalizes 150 million (Sachar report) cannot every hope to raise itself towards any meaningful development. A house of cards which uses only a very small segment of its Brahman population for improvement has intrinsic inbuilt traps which will prevent it from gaining any sustainable momentum. The baggage of 550 million plus the Nazxalites, Mizus, Assamese are a constant drag which impedes any real progress on the ground. Whatever it achieves is lost–like a drop of honey lost in a salty ocean. Unless and until Bharat makes peace with all her neighbors (with serious boundary adjustments), it cannot claim any regional or global role anywhere.

Pakistan wants to take advantage of a process called Benchmarking which cherry picks the best processes from various cultures. Your inability to comprehend this basic tenant of successful nation building, and inability to comprehend some high level benchmarking concepts leads to your repetition of sentences about a huge industry in the US and Europe.

Islamabad has skillfully kept one superpower away from its hinterland (by defeating it in the battlefields of the Khyber) and allies itself with two others to develop a superior lifestyle for its citizens. Another superpower was told in no uncertain terms that it has to leave the neighborhood and is now planning an exit strategy. After the superpower leaves the region, Pakistan can continue its onwards march leading the TANs to freedom and liberation.

One part of the prosperity equation is the aspect of security–defending itself from a neighbor bent on hegemony and destruction. The other part is Free Trade Agreements with China, Malaysia, the USA, Morocco, Jordan etc which allows exports to countries far and wide. The third part of this equation is development of products and services that others want to buy. Pakistan has orders lined up of more than 500 JF-17 thunders and 1000 Al Khalid tanks. These are value added goods that develops sub-tier manufacturers and a robust manufacturing base that now produces submarines, planes, tanks, cars and ships.

The Bharati paradigm cannot comprehend this structural development, and cannot see the rise of four major cities in Pakistan. It cannot understand how Islamabad is devoid of slums, and how the entire Azad Kashmir has been rebuilt after a devastating earthquake just a few years ago. Neither I nor any other person will try to convince you of these aspects of development. Psychologically, Bharatis are incapable of introspecting their own errors and are blind and cannot see anything good in Pakistan.

Pakistan had one university in 1947. Today it has 150 some of them top tier–like Agha Khan University. These build the clustering affect as defined by Michael Porter. The real Pakistani Middle Class enjoys a European style of living and is not restricted to a small portion of the population. It is growing. It has the best infrastructure in South Asia, brand new airports all major cities, US tyle freeways connecting the northernmost end to the southern tip, railways stations that look like airports, and cities that are the dream of the Subcontinent. Manora in Karachi s now being built by the Dubai builders to emulate Dubai. All this never reported in the Bharati media (Pakpositive.com).

Unfortunately Bharat has continued to sabotage ALL her neighbors and has the unique distinction of being the only country in the world that has had wars with all her neighbors. After the Nuclear Deterrence Pakistan has been concentrating on its own development–periodically intruded upon by the war in Afghanistan and the covert operations of RAW. The pictures of Mumbai now place Mumbai at par with Baghadad, Gaza and Kabul—Bharat in its juvenile quest to blame outside powers has in effect destroyed its image–and slumdog put the final nail in the coffin of “Incredible India”.

Pakistan has shown the way towards progress which the rest of Sough Asia has been following. One day Bharat will realize the folly of its ways and begin to start getting on the right side of history.

      Indian Census report:

Rape is the fastest growing crime in India. Every hour Indian women face two rapes, two kidnappings, four molestations and seven incidents of cruelty from husbands and relatives [National Crime Records Bureau Report 2006]

UNAIDS says over 38% of those living with HIV in India are women.

      * Corruption and Bribery continues to be the most common type of fraud reported by 20 % of the respondents;
      * The average direct financial loss to companies was INR 60 Million (US $ 1.5 million) during the two year period. In addition the average cost to manage economic crime in India was INR 40 Million (US $ 1 Million) which is close to double that of the global and Asia Pacific average;
      * In 36% of cases companies took no action against the perpetrators of fraud;
      * In 50% of the cases frauds were detected by chance. [PWC Report 2007]
      Armed Conflicts in India:

Almost every state has separatist movements, many of them armed.

The Defence Offset Facilitation Agency estimating the expenditure on the sector at USD 100 billion for next five years.

According to Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM), nearly 420 million man hours are lost every month by the 7 million -odd working population of Delhi and NCR who take the public transport to travel to work because of traffic congestion during the peak morning and evening hours.

Under the current scenario, potential migrants or ‘invaders’ to India include few ‘hired or weird’ Pakistani bombers, villagers around India’s border with Bangladesh, Tamil refugees from Sri Lanka and Indian import of Nepali prostitutes.

[Financial Times]

Hindutva Idiots, Your false pride and actions make our life miserable.

      Sandeep:

Thank you for your kind sentiments. I agree with most of what you have said. I have no issues with any Indian ever. We are freinds and enjoy each other’s company. I agree, the Bharati media is full of Anti-Pakistanis and those in the West constantly write against Pakistan. This creates the national animosity. We of course strongly disagree that there is any poison against any country on this site. We simply report the truth. This article has amjor components written by the Dalits. The role of Bharat in 1971 was dispicable and horrid. Pakistanis know that Bharat’s eventual goal is to absorb Pakistan or break it up into little parts–what it tried to do in Lanka, Sikkim, Bhutan etc. Most civilized people oppose this expansion on the part of Bhrat.

Kashmir was illegally occupied by Bharat using a fake article of accession. See Alitair Lamb’s research on this subject and many other authors including Stanley Wolpert.

Iqbal’s Kashgar is near and dear to the harts of Muslims–There is a huge CIA and RAW involvement in Ughuiristan. Pakistan does not support the rebels but ha quietyl informed the Chinese to ease up in Eastern Turkistan.

We have written several articles on peace between Bharat and Pakistan. Singh needs to take some steps that he cannot take. Resolution of Kashmir on the Chenab principle would be a good step.

In Marathi we say, ” Nindakache Ghar Asawe Shejari” It means, it’s good to have a critique in your neaighbour. Because such neighbour helps you to focus on your problems and helps you to better yourself.

Mr. Ansari’s intention may be addressed towards an audience within pakistan to show that India is really not ‘that’ success story, and make them feel happier. But nevertheless it helps us to put things into perspective. Not let us be complacent and motivates us to work for betterment of our people. We are not at all satisfied with the rate at we are growing. We are hungray for more, for even better life.

Thank you very much Mr. Ansari.

By the way, I’m really sorry to say that I cannot return the favor of pointing out your bottlenecks as I’m too much ignorant about Pakistan. I really don’t know how you people manage or mismanage your affairs. What I know about Pakistan is just that the Prime Minister has publicaly announced it’s inability to contain the jihadist attacks by fanatic Pakistanis on it’s own establishment. May be I shall study and suggest you some improvement. But that will be at a later date. Because at the moment, I’m busy building my own country.

Publish, if you are editor of this blog, to get views of others!

This is a dream of a devil advocate Mr. Moin and all trash, it written with perpetual dislike and grudge towards India with any valid and solid research or reasons, Any argument you put, will not discuss rather put hundreds of links, ( which any body can cut and paste) and he will spin that he criticize/ writes about other countries too, but his daily venom vomiting writings are against India. He is paid for that, his living by crocked, hatred spread yellow writings. I can not expect more than that from this Madaras educated; brought up in the man eats man society..
But dear Moin to much venom and hatred is bad for health and society too, you see what is happening to Pakistan today after lunching 1000 bleeds to India, actually Pakistan is bleeding now… But you see the positive side of development. From very hungry, bulk cart drive country to some good tech developments and at least on path to competition to other powerful countries…. India is striving… it will march fast and pick up pack and gallop like China…
Today after china more automobile industries are started in India and Nissan, Volkswagen, / Toyota /Daewoo etc are making base for exports apart from Indian consumption.. Now Indian Maruthi Suzuki is bigger than parent Suzuki it self you and Pakistan will see this and please remember that days are not far.

Low end editions of Toyota/Dawoo/Volkwagon are indeed being assembled in Bharat. The Germans, Koreans and the Japense will take advantage of the cheap labor and take all the money that they get and laugh to the bank–while some stupid people think that this is progress.

Pakistan is the largest automobile part manufacturer. Vauxhall was being produced in Pakistan in the 50s. All the plants that you talk about were set up in Pakistan in the 60s when Delhi was in love with socialism and was busy driving the junk called Ambassador.

some unavoidable FACTS about india :

      1. India wasn’t always poor. It was the british invasion that left the country devastated.

      2. The crime and corruption in the country is reaching sky-high coz of the corrupt, dull and ineffectve CONGRESS regime. BJP however has proved itself in states like gujarat, madhya pradesh , chattisgarh…. that it has far greater management and administration skills.

      3. Hon’ble chief minister Narendra Modi is widely suppported by the muslim community of his own state which demonstrates his culpability in gujarat carnage. His dedication towards his post has tranformed gujrat into the most developed state of India. This is the reason why he is the undebated future Prime Minister of India.

      4. India is the only successful democracy in the continent.

some unavoidable facts about pakistan :

      1. The core theory of formation of this state lies in the intolerance of some fanatic ignorant islamic group towards people of other faiths and religion …. lol… How long can such men happily live among themselves.

      2. The above was illustrated when in 1971 pakistanis slaughtered there own men in east pakistan resulting in genocide of 3 million muslims and raping 300,000 women. It was by Indian intervention that east pakistanis found freedom and solace. Bangladesh will soon offer the highest state award to the then late Smt. Indira Gandhi and MEN of indian armed forces for helping them.

      3. Pakistan is just surviving on american funding against whom they plot and shelter OSAMA. Once the american aiding stops pakistan will become second afghanistan.

There was no “India” before the British arrived, or even during their reign

      Brhamansim decimated Jainism and Buddhists

Events of 1971: The only thing a temple indoctrinated Bharati can do is harp upon 1971–forgetting August 14th, 1974, when the Indian agent was killed, and his body thrown in the streets for days–the Indian Rakhi Bahni sent packing back to Delhi.

Most Indians are extremely proud about the export of its terror to Pakistan in the 70s. Bharat’s Rakhi Bahni massacred 1 million Non-Bengalis in Bangladesh. If the Indian sponsored LTTE terrorists had been successful in creating a Hindu Tamil state in Lanka-these very same people would have been ecstatic. If the Delhi sponsored terrorists had been successful in creating the Chakma Republic Indians would be overjoyed. If the Bharati sponsored terrorists had been successful in creating the republic of Tibet—Delhi would be in high heaven. Bharatis are very proud of the terror tactics of the Mukti Bahni–which had recruited 80,000 Hindus (General Manekshaw’s biography). The Mukti Bhani dressed as Pakistani soldiers ravaged Muslim Bengal—blaming Pakistan. Then Bharat sent terrorists into the Chittagong Hill tracts into its former ally. Delhi cries like a baby on terror in Mumbai—but Bharatis are very proud of sending armed terrorist into a sovereign countries in Nepal, China, Lanka and Pakistan.

In 1975 the Bangladesh leader Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was assassinated in a military coup. India lost a close ally and much of the strategic gains made in the 1971 war. Looking back 1971 was a catastrophe for Bharat—it ended it s hegemony in South Asia and it forced Pakistan to go Nuclear. In the late 1980s Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi thought it was possible to impose peace in Sri Lanka’s ethnic conflict under the India-Sri Lanka Accord. He sent a large military force to the island state. It did not work out as had been intended. On the contrary, the feeling was reinforced among neighbors that India was behaving like the “big brother.” (Deepak Tripathi, former BBC correspondent, is a writer on the US, great power relations, South and West Asia. His latest book “Breeding Ground: Afghanistan and the Origins of Islamist Terrorism” is published this month by Potomac Books, Incorporated, Washington, DC.)

Bangladeshis today are slowly coming to terms with why 1971 and in time you will see the creation of greater Bangladesh or even a Bangistan.
I can understand your anger at Pakistan afterall we tore you apart in 1947 then took half of Kashmir the following year!

Bharati terrorism: The 80,000 Hindus that were sent to Muslim Bengal in 1970 weren’t singing Kambaya. The LTTE was a wholly owned subsidiary of the RAW–and it backfired ending up in the assassination fo Rajiv Gandhi. The terrorists were also sent to Tibet which ended up Bharat getting thrashed by China in 1962. Bharati terrorists also entered Hyderabad and destroyed the state even though the Razakars (joint Hindu Muslim force) put up a valiant struggle. Bharati terrorists also took over Sikkim and tried to take over Bhutan. Bahrati terrorists also tried to make trouble for the elected leadership of Nepal and is stil not allowing Prachanda to take power in Kathmandu. Bharati terrorists are also busy in Balochistan supporting the BLA–where Brhanas Bugti has a Bharati passport. He was recently evicted from Kabul

Indian government prepares mass sacking of Air India pilots
By Sathish Simon and Deepal Jayasekera
      9 June 2012

India’s Congress-led United Progressive Alliance government has moved to hire new pilots in order to crush a five-week strike of about 400 Air India (AI) pilots.

The pilots, who are members of Indian Pilot Guild (IPG), have been maintaining a “call in sick” industrial campaign to demand exclusive training on the airline’s new fleet of Boeing 787 Dreamliner planes. They also want payment of salary arrears outstanding from 2007, first-class travel when not working, and the right to be promoted to pilot commanders within six years.

On Wednesday, Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh told the media that the Air India pilots’ strike “is over as far as we are concerned.” The airline, he said, had “decided to recruit pilots from domestic and international markets. We expect to advertise for the posts soon.”

If the striking pilots wanted to return to work, Singh added, they would have to reapply for their jobs and follow the government-owned carrier’s recruitment processes.

Singh’s threats mark a turning point in the government attack on AI pilots. In the face of growing demands by big business and the corporate media for a more rapid imposition of its pro-market economic measures, the government is demonstrating that it will crush all resistance from the working class.

The government’s latest move against the AI pilots follows the illegalization of the industrial campaign, De-recognition of their union, and the dismissal of over 100 pilots. On Wednesday a Mumbai high court bench rejected an appeal by the pilots against De-recognition of their union.

Singh also announced that Air India is planning to replace the striking pilots—70 percent of them are co-pilots—with trainees and hire new foreign pilots on one-year contracts and Indian pilots for five years. “With this,” he declared, “the entire AI network of 27 stations shall not only be restored but expanded.”

While Singh claimed that the government had no plans to privatize the national carrier, he said that all pilots had to support the restructuring measures recently outlined in a Dharmadhikari Committee report. Contrary to its denial, the government is sending a clear message to big business that it preparing the state-owned carrier for privatization.

Headed by retired Judge D. M. Dharmadhikari, the committee has called for the downsizing of the airline’s 27,000-strong workforce and the slashing of wages and working conditions. It calls for pilots’ salaries to be determined by the type of aircraft they fly—narrow or wide bodied—and their payments linked to flying hours and a fixed allowance.

The report also proposed 10-15 percent salary cuts for pilots, engineers and cabin crews, the “rationalization” of their allowances and reduction of the airline’s total workforce by 10 percent, under a so-called “voluntary retirement scheme.”

Singh revealed that AI plans to slash its 32 billion-rupee ($US581 million) annual wage bill by 2.5 billion rupees in the first year and wants the Dharmadhikari report implemented in three months. The government has appointed a four-member committee to discuss the imposition of the restructuring with the airline’s unions. All existing wage agreements with unions will be terminated when the plan begins.

In the face of the escalating government attack, the IPG organized a “silent protest” procession of its members in New Delhi and Mumbai on June 6, with pilots carrying placards appealing to airline management and the government to “enter dialogue.” IPG leader Flight Captain Anil Kumar Rao called for discussions with management to “find ways” to end the industrial action.

Like their union counterparts—the Air Corporation Employees’ Union (ACEU) and the Indian Commercial Pilots’ Association (ICPA)—the IPG has kept air transport workers isolated and divided. Its demands are for a relatively privileged position for its members rather than improved pay and conditions for all pilots.

The ICPA represents pilots who worked for Indian Airlines—the domestic state-owned airline—before its merger with Air India in 2007. ICPA pilots’ salaries are 50 percent less than the IPG pilots and have inferior conditions. The ACEU, which has 11,000 members, has praised the government’s restructuring plan.

India’s two Stalinist parties—the Communist Party of India- Marxist (CPM) and the Communist Party of India (CPI) and their trade unions—have refused to oppose the anti-democratic measures against Air India pilots.

The escalating government assault on AI pilots is driven by an ongoing decline in local and international air industry profits amid the worsening global economic crisis. Air India and Kingfisher, a privately-owned Indian airline, are expected to lose $1.3 billion and $1.4 billion respectively in the year ending April 2013.

The turmoil in US and Europe has impacted heavily on the Indian economy. India’s economic growth is falling, with its gross domestic product growth rate declining to 6.5 percent last year, the lowest in nine years.

Last week, Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industries president R.V. Kanoria declared that the country was “in the midst of a grave economic crisis” and demanded that the government allow greater foreign direct investments, cut social welfare and step up other “free market” measures.

The Congress-led government’s attack on the pilots sets a dangerous precedent for a similar assault on other sections of workers who oppose the onslaught on their jobs, pay and living standards.

      Nice wet dreams Raj.

This will also attest to your bravery and Pakistani cowardice. Are you willing for challenge?

I doubt it. The combined Super power with most advance mind control technology to uplift its forces has failed against wretched, flip flop chappal wearers with out dated AK47 with simple mind to defend their motherland.

Your rhetoric is also a mind manipulation that will fail. Why?

Its the Noble Qura’n that guides them.

Muslims are independent of their rulers, if they go out of their line. Muslims have fought their own rulers for centuries. Indeed they can be steered in certain direction by the manipulators but not all the times. Thus they kill their own leaders for violation of Divine Law. Occasionally these leaders escape to foreign Country that sponsors them as in case of Altaf Hussein and Musharraf. On the other side are the heads of certain Asian, African, S American traitors that also escaped to England, after loot.

At the current moment, Pakistan is fighting the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion that has many centuries head start. Europe, Africa, N. America, Asia with some of the M E countries has fallen.
These Elders constitutes committee of 300 with Financial Backbone. Thus there will be hurdles, since Paksitan is facing experienced, well trained and hardcore veterans of murderous manipulators.

It is indeed a Miracle of ALLAH that Pakistan is ticking with life. It may also be an advantage, as it is gaining lot of experience in their method of operation. Since the Cabal is a failure in Af/Pak, they would love India to replace them in this venture.

It is said when ALLAH wants to punish a Nation. HE sends them to Af/Pak province of Khorasan. Since you consider Pakistan a fail state then please do invade Pakistan and inform me of the outcome.

      Assalamu-Elekum
