Muslim response to the Dutch and Geert Wilders
Mr. Geert Wilders is about to release an anti-Quran video. There is bigotry in Holland, and Islamphobia it is growing in Europe. We all know that. The question is how do Muslims deal with it. The film of the Quran is about to be released in a matter of days. Burning buses in Islamabad, or flags in Gaza will have not impact on the Dutch or Geert Wilders. It will only increase the bigotry dividend to him and his political allies in the Netherlands.
We need to learn from what the prophet Muhammad would have done. A woman used to throw garbage on him every day from a roof-top. One day she wasn’t there. The prophet went to ask about her health and provided her medical help. She converted to Islam.
We suggest that Muslims all over the world send flowers to Geert Wilders. We envision thousands of bouquets of roses (Gul e Muhammadi) and Tulips (which spell ”Allah”) to Mr. Geert Widlers. A bigto like Mr. Wilders would find it hard to see “Allah” all around him. This would be his worst nightmare.
Our vision is thousands of flowers to Mr. Wilders and to the Danish cartoonists also. This will surely not melt their hearts. But it will send a classy message to the Dutch people

Mr. Geert Wilders, Member Parliament
Parliament of the Netherlands, Amsterdam, Netherlands
Muslims should also boycott all Danish and Dutch goods so that there is an economic impact of provoking Muslims.
SIOE (Stop Islamization of Europe) sees Islamic influences all around them in Europe. We agree with them.
Europe is awash in Islamic symbols and influences.
The SOIE & Frank Vanhecke can take steps to eradicate these immediately. Part of Mr. Eert’s agenda is to ban the Quran, limit and reverse Muslim immigration to the Netherlands.
Perhaps as a precursor to banning the Quran and reducing Muslim immigration, Filip Dewinter, Anders Gravers, Stephen Garsh, Geert Wilders, Frank Vanhecke, & Filip Dewinter should begin eliminating existing Muslim influences in the Netherlands.

1) Let us start with Tulips. Tulips (from the original Turkish “Topi Lale”) are of Islamic Turkish origins and a tulip flower represents the Arabic word “Allah” in Arabic. See “Tulipomania”. Frank Vanhecke & Geert Wilders should eliminate all tulips from the Netherlands.

The Turks the Tulip flower because the flower spells “Allah” in Arabic. I feel sorry for Geert. Each time he sees a tulip he gets infuriated because it displays “Allah” in Arabic.

To Arabs the Rose is called Gul e Muhammaddi” (“flower of Muhammad”) and the Arabic word Muhammad is seen in the rose. The SIOE, Frank Vanhecke, Filip Dewinter, Greet and others should ban roses from Belgium, Netherlands and Europe also.
2) Sugar (from the Arabic “sukkar”) was brought back by the Crusades from Muslim Jerusalem. SIOE, Frank Vanhecke, Stephen Garsh, & Geert Wilders and others should ban all sugar from the Netherlands, Belgium and Europe.
3) Windmills were developed as a result of Muslim technology developed in Muslim Spain, Ottomans and the Arabs. Frank Vanhecke & Geert Wilders should immediately ban all windmills in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Europe.
4) Stitched cloth was an Arab invention in Spain. Frank Vanhecke & Geert Wilders should immediately ban stitched cloth in Belgium, Netherlands and Europe.

5) The English word “collegiate” is of Arabic origins from the Arabic “kulliat”. Oxford was formed by returning Crusader monks from Egypt that had seen the Middle Easter university called “Al-Azhar”. Frank Vanhecke. Stephen Garsh and Geert Wilders should eliminate this Islamic influence in the Europe and ban all colleges in the Belgium, Netherlands and Europe.
6) Since Beethoven and Baach were also influenced by Turkish and Muslim music (during the siege of Vienna and the interaction with the Ottomans), perhaps the SIOE should ban music from the greatest musicians of our time and eliminate “symbols” and drums from all music because they were originally invented by Muslims. I would love to see Mr. Wilders facial expressions when he hears Beethoven’s 9th symphony “A la Turka”. Flamenco dancing is also of Turkish origin, so the SIOE should ban it in the Netherlands, Belgium and Europe.
7) The SIOE, Frank Vanhecke & Stephen Garsh should also ban Arabic words and symbols in the Netherlands, Belgium & Europe. He should begin with banning the ” ‘Arabic’ numerals” (the numbering system used by the world) and revert back to the Roman numeral system. He should also ban Chemistry (Al Chemia), Algebra (Al Gebran) and all words beginning with “Al” including Alchohol.
Most importantly the SIOE, Frank Vanhecke and Stephen Garsh should ban hookas and hashish most of which comes from Muslim countires.
9) The list is long, Croissants, Marsipan, the Dome structures of building, Gothic architecture, trial by jury, paper, printing, gunpowder, the compass all have Islamic origins.
10) Frank Vanhecke, Stephen Garsh & Geert Wilders should eliminate all these from the Netherlands, Belgium and Europe.

We are continually forced to confront the notion of Muslim ‘grievances,’ ‘resentments,’ and ‘humiliations’, as well as compelled to deal with the stone-faced fanatics who are the murderous envoys of such horrible hate-based energy. Here by contrast is the story of a young African woman, born into Islam, who was given every possible occasion to feel grievance, resentment, and humiliation yet who has employed her own life as an example of internationalism, tolerance, multiculturalism, and the redemption of others. Her humor and irony and fortitude constitute the finest counterpoint to the surly cult of death that presses itself against us. For me, the three most beautiful words in the emerging language of secular resistance to tyranny are Ayaan Hirsi Ali.
Ayan Hisrshi lied about everything. She may never have been a Muslim. Even the Dutch had to take back her nationality and drum her out of parliament. She found refuge with the bigots across the pond in America.
She has no credability.
Wilders, who lives under perpetual armed guard due to death threats, recently released a 15 minute film entitled Fitna (“strife” in Arabic) over the internet. The film has been deemed offensive because it juxtaposes images of Muslim violence with passages from the Qur’an. Given that the perpetrators of such violence regularly cite these same passages as justification for their actions, merely depicting this connection in a film would seem uncontroversial. Controversial or not, one surely would expect politicians and journalists in every free society to strenuously defend Wilders’ right to make such a film. But then one would be living on another planet, a planet where people do not happily repudiate their most basic freedoms in the name of “religious sensitivity.”
Inability to read is an affliction that is pervasive among the Europen bigots—the passage is not fully quoted, misses the next part of the “surah”. Mr. Wilders fails to describe the context and fails to mention horrid passages about Amelkites in Deutronomy, Leviticus, and Numbers. Perhaps a revew of Paul’s Bible will tell you what Geert Wilders should be condeming.
After massacring 15 million in WW1, 55 million in WW2, 3 million in veitnam, 2 million in Korea, perhaps the followers of Hitler, and Mousoolini may reconsider their faith. And you have the gall to point fingers at Islam
The point is not (and will never be) that some free person spoke, or wrote, or illustrated in such a manner as to inflame the Muslim community. The point is that only the Muslim community is combustible in this way. The controversy over Fitna, like all such controversies, renders one fact about our world especially salient: Muslims appear to be far more concerned about perceived slights to their religion than about the atrocities committed daily in its name. Our accommodation of this psychopathic skewing of priorities has, more and more, taken the form of craven and blinkered acquiescence.
The point is not what others think of Muslims–that is a given, from the Crusades, to Colonialism, to Neo-Imperialism–its all well documented in Edward Said’s “Orientalism”. The fact remains that Muslims do not slight Jesus, or Moses and expect the same courtesy from Christians and Jews. Obviously those who cannot revere their own prophets cannot be expected to show reverence to the prophets of others.
The point is not one bigot says to another–the point is at Fascism, and Nazisism is still alive in awell in Europe and its latest manifestation is Geert Wilders and his acolytes.
Islamphobia in Europe is the flip side of Anti-Semitism that led to the Spanish Inquisition, the holocaust and other horrid atrocities commited by those who portray Christianity as the religion of love.
Christianity has never accomodated Islam–and never will. Revel in this simple fact that may keep you up at night. Islam is the fastest growing relgion in Europe, in America and in the world, and there is nothing you can do about it.
Are you people aware that thousands of Catholic Monks were summarily executed in Islamic Spain because they refuse to convert to Islam. Please read the story of the Monk perfectus and explain to me why you say Islamic Spain was tolerant?
There is also the martyrdom of St. Geronimo in Marocco and the drowing of St. Sennen in Iran at the hands of intolerant Muslims. So please show me both sides of the coin and leave out your prejudice before writing on history.
In agespast Islam was as bigotted as Christianity and Judaism began its bigotry and persecution of Christians soon after the crucifiction in 33 A.D.
Mr. Tellis:
You simply post flame baits peridocally. Then you vanish. We highy recommend that you post Islamphobic comments on Musalmantimes.com which is the proper forum to discuss relgion. Rupee News is a forum for politics.
However we ill respond to your question.
The Rabbis and Priests have writeen several books on the Jewish-Christian-Muslim symbiosis in Muslim Spain. Please read “The Ornamnet of the world” by Maria Rosa Menocal and many other books on Covivencia by European and American authors, many of them Jews.
Hasdai Shaprut an orthodox Jew was the Prime Minister and commander of the Armed forces of Muslim Spain for THIRTY YEARS. Moses Maimonides, one of the great and most imporatant Jews–often called the Second Moses was Surgeon General of Sultan Salahuddin Ayubi. Maimonides wrote all his books in Arabic, except “Perplexed” which was in Hebrew—he wrote all his books while he was in the exalted office.
Jews had been expelled from almost every European coutnry, and lived very happily in Muslim Spain–in fact it is called the “Golden Age of Jewry”. After the Chritistian took over Spain and kicked out all the Jews, the Turks rescued 300,000 of them where they live and recently celberated their 500the anniversary in Turkey.
Anti-Ameitism is a Christian invention stemming out of “Christ-killer” syndronme coming out of Paul’s gospel
Yes there was an isolated incident of Monk Perfectus—he violated the law, was arrested and then let go. He was placedon probation not to violate the law of the land. He violated his parole and faced the consequences–it was all part of a judicial process.
Here is Karen Armstrong describing the entire incident
In 1242, for example, King Louis IX of France, a canonised saint of the Roman Catholic Church, condemned the Jewish Talmud as a vicious attack on the person of Christ. The book was banned and copies were publicly burned in the presence of the King. Louis had no interest in discussing his differences with the Jewish communities of France in a peaceful, rational way. He once claimed that the only way to debate with a Jew was to kill him “with a good thrust in the belly as far as the sword will go”.1 It was Louis who called the first Inquisition to bring Christian heretics to justice and burned not merely their books but hundreds of men and women. He was also a Muslim-hater and led two crusades against the Islamic world. In Louis’ day it was not Islam but the Christian West which found it impossible to coexist with others. Indeed, the bitter history of Muslim-Western relations can be said to have begun with an attack on Muhammad in Muslim Spain.
In 850 a monk called Perfectus went shopping in the souk of Cordova, capital of the Muslim state of al-Andalus. Here he was accosted by a group of Arabs who asked him whether Jesus or Muhammad was the greater prophet. Perfectus understood at once that it was a trick question, because it was a capital offence in the Islamic empire to insult Muhammad, and at first he responded cautiously. But suddenly he snapped and burst into a passionate stream of abuse, calling the Prophet of Islam a charlatan, a sexual pervert and Antichrist himself. He was immediately swept off to goal.
This incident was unusual for Cordova, where Christian-Muslim relations were normally good. Like the Jews, Christians were allowed full religious liberty within the Islamic empire and most Spaniards were proud to belong to such an advanced culture, light years ahead of the rest of Europe. They were often called ‘Mozarabs’ or ‘Arabisers’.
The Christians love to read the poems and romances of the Arabs; they study the Arab theologians and philosophers, not to refute them but to form a correct and elegant Arabic. Where is the layman who now reads the Latin commentaries on the Holy Scriptures, or who studies the Gospels, prophets or apostles? Alas! all talented young Christians read and study with enthusiasm the Arab books.2
Paul Alvaro, the Spanish layman who wrote this attack on the Mozarabs at about this time, saw the monk Perfectus as a cultural and religious hero. His denunciation of Muhammad had inspired a strange minority movement in Cordova whereby men and women presented themselves before the Qadi, the Islamic judge, and proved their Christian loyalty by a vitriolic and suicidal attack on the Prophet.
When Perfectus had arrived in gaol he had been extremely frightened, and the Qadi decided not to pass the death sentence because he judged that Perfectus had been unfairly provoked by the Muslims. But after a few days Perfectus cracked a second time and insulted Muhammad in such crude terms that the Qadi had no option but to apply the full rigor of the law. The monk was executed, and at once a group of Christians, who seem to have lived on the fringes of society, dismembered his body and began to revere relics of their “martyr’. A few days later another monk called Ishaq appeared before the Qadi and attacked Muhammad and his religion with such passion that the Qadi, thinking him either drunk or deranged, slapped him to bring him to his senses. But Ishaq persisted in his abuse and the Qadi could not continue to permit this flagrant violation of the law.
Ninth-century Cordova was not like Bradford in 1988. The Muslims were powerful and confident. They seemed extremely reluctant to put these Christian fanatics to death, partly because they did not seem in control of their faculties but also because they realized that the last thing they needed was a martyr-cult. Muslims were not averse to hearing about other religions. Islam had been born in the religious pluralism of the Middle East, where the various faiths had coexisted for centuries. The Eastern Christian empire of Byzantium likewise permitted minority religious groups liberty to practice their faith and to manage their own religious affairs. There was no law against propaganda efforts by Christians in the Islamic empire, provided that they did not attack the beloved figure of the Prophet Muhammad. In some parts of the empire there was even an established tradition of skepticism and freethinking which was tolerated as long as it kept within the bounds of decency and was not too disrespectful. In Cordova the Qadi and the Amir, the prince, were both loath to put Perfectus and Ishaq to death but they could not allow this breach of the law. But a few days after Ishaq’s execution, six other monks from his monastery arrived and delivered yet another venomous attack on Muhammad. That summer about fifty martyrs died in this way. They were denounced by the Bishop of Cordova and by the Mozarabs, who were all extremely alarmed by this aggressive cult of martyrdom. But the martyrs found two champions: a priest called Eulogio and Paul Alvaro both argued that the martyrs were “soldiers of God” who were fighting bravely for their faith. They had mounted a complex moral assault against Islam which was difficult for the Muslim authorities to deal with because it seemed to put them in the wrong.
It is still common for Western people to take it for granted that Muhammad had simply “used” religion as a way of achieving world conquest or to assert that Islam is a violent religion of the sword, even though there are many scholarly and objective studies of Islam and its Prophet that disprove this myth of Mahound.
The martyrs came from all levels of society: they were men and women, monks, priests, laymen, simple folk and sophisticated scholars. But many seem to have been searching for a clear, distinct Western identity. Some appear to have come from mixed homes, with a Muslim and a Christian parent; others had been urged to assimilate too closely with Muslim culture – they had been given Arab names3 or had been pushed into a career in the civil service – and felt disoriented and confused. The loss of cultural roots can be a profoundly disturbing experience and even in our own day it can produce an aggressive, defiant religiosity as a means of asserting the beleaguered self. Perhaps we should remember the martyrs of Cordova when we feel bewildered by the hostility and rage in some of the Muslim communities in the West and in other parts of the world where Western culture threatens traditional values. The martyr movement led by Alvaro and Eulogio was as bitterly opposed to the Christian Mozarabs as to the Muslims and accused them of being cultural defectors. Eulogio made a visit to Pamplona in neighboring Christendom and came back with Western books: texts of the Latin Fathers of the Church and Roman classical works by Vergil and Juvenal. He wanted to resist the Arabisation of his fellow Spaniards and create a Latin renaissance which looked back with nostalgia to the Roman past of his country as a way of neutralizing the influence of the dominant Muslim culture. The movement fizzled out when Eulogio himself was put to death by the Qadi, who begged him to save his life by making a token submission to Islam – nobody would check his subsequent religious behavior – and not give in to this “deplorable and fatal self-destruction” like the other “fools and idiots”.4 But Eulogio merely told him to sharpen his sword.
This curious incident was uncharacteristic of life in Muslim Spain. For the next 600 years members of the three religions of historical monotheism were able to live together in relative peace and harmony: the Jews, who were being hounded- to death in the rest of Europe, were able to enjoy a rich cultural renaissance of their own. But the story of the martyrs of Cordova reveals an attitude that would become common in the West. At that time Islam was a great world power while Europe, overrun by barbarian tribes, had become a cultural backwater.
There is more wisdom and compassion in Ayaan hirsi ali’s book than can be found in most university libraries–and surely more than has been published in the Muslim world since the time of the Prophet. Nomad is both a moving account of her personal journey out of bondage, and trumpet blast to awaken westerners at all points along the political spectrum: there is a war of ideas that must be waged and won in the Muslim world, and we misunderstand the true tenets of Islam at our peril. Hirsi Ali’s voice and example are simply indispensable. There is
no one like her-and we need thousands like her.
I highly recommend this book’
The disgraced, Ayan Hirshi is a liar and a cheat. Her dishonesty is a proven fact. The Dutch pulled her nationality, threw her out of parliament and then deported her–becuase she had lied about her chidlhood, parentage and religion.
She got a ghost writer to write fantasy. Good work of fiction, and it even worked for a few years. Truth finally came out, and her 15 minutes of fame are over.
Its an old book anyway…the world has moved on. The new fiction is what Canner wrote, another self-professed Ex-Muslim–another liar and cheat who lied about his background and one sho has been disgraced.
The idea that people’s beliefs, merely by being deeply held, merit respect is grotesque. A constitutional society should uphold freedom of speech and should not concern itself with its citizens’ feelings. If it sought to protect sensibilities, there would be no limit to the abuse of freedom that the principle would justify. The principle of free speech limited only by the direct call of racism and violence.
Freedom of speech is not sacrosanct in any society and cannot be used to spread hate, bigotry and racism. Most European countries still have blasphemy laws, and most countries do not allow abuse or criticism of the monarch. it is a crime in England and many European and other countires to besmerch the name of the king or queen.
The Supreme Court of the US has opined that “Shouting Fire” is not acceptable behaviour and does not constitute free speech. Similarly many words are not allowed to be broadcast on US TV and Radio stations.
Using the “N” word is not acceptable in America society.
If you disagree, try going to Harlem and shoting the word at the top of your lungs. Let us know the results.
You may also go to Israel and try denying the holocaust, or making comments against Jews or Moses.
There are many laws in many European countries which prohibit “Holocaust Denial”. Beastiality and sex with minors or solicitation of sex in America and most countries of the world is not allowed by law. Many states prohibit sodomy etc etc etc.
Those hiding behind “free speech” are the same KKK hooded bigots who used to say that it is an American right to hold, sell, buy and abuse slaves.
Why is so important to abuse another person or relgion. Only the racists can answer that.
America is the land of the free and the home of the brave. The US government has condemned those who espouse hatred and bigotry by abusing the religious beliefs of a large section of our society.
@ editors. At this point, I may ask: “Why clergies of different religions consider themselves, the only broker of heaven and assert that the clergymen of the other religions are ignorant and fraudulent, their followers are aberrant whom finally will be punished by hell.
Yet, we may here ask ourselves why would the creator of such a vast cosmos, which is beyond human speculation, ever need representatives on earth to guide several millions of people.
Undoubtedly, if we really try to take advantage of the endowments of our intellectual faculties to liberate ourselves from the slavery of religious brokers, we can terminate the bloodshed, which is caused by so much religious squabbles among the human beings. with out religion Geert Wilders view’s wood have no relevence. Religion is the antithesis of science, and this will be its eventual downfall.
The Chinese consider themselves as the Middle Kingdom between heaven and earth
The Japanese think of themselves as superior ruled by the progeny of the Sun
The Jews think of themselves as the Chosen People
The Christian think of themselves as the Saved People
The Hindus think of themselves in the perpetual cycle of life superior to everyone else who are malich (dirty)
The Muslims thinks of themselves on the right path
Your equal opportunity criticism of all relgions is unbiased and balanced. We have no problem with it. You have every right to be agonistic or aheist as much as I have a right not to be
Peace and Love
@editors Ayan Hisrshi lied about everything.? Ayaan Hirsi Ali born Ayaan Hirsi Magan; 13 November 1969) She is the estranged daughter of the late Somali scholar,Hirsi Magan Isse.On May 16 2006 Hirsi Ali resigned from Parliament after admitting that she had lied on her asylum application she lied about her name and age who wouldn’t under her circumstances? On that day, she gave a press conference,in which she restated that, although she felt it was wrong to be granted asylum under false pretences, the facts had been publicly known since 2002 when they had been reported in the media and in one of her publications. In the press conference, she also restated that she had spoken the truth about the reason for seeking asylum, which had been the threat of a forced marriage, despite a claim to the contrary on the Zembla program by some of her relatives. Her stated reason for resigning immediately was not the continuous threats, making her job as a parliamentarian “difficult” but “not impossible”,
After a long and emotional debate in the Dutch Parliament, all major parties supported a motion, requesting the Minister to explore the possibility of special circumstances in Hirsi Ali’s case. Although Verdonk remained convinced that the applicable law did not leave her any room to consider such circumstances, she decided to accept the motion.
Hirsi Ali is currently a fellow at the American Enterprise InstituteIn 2005, she was named by Time magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. She has also received several awards including the Danish Freedom Prize, the Swedish Democracy Prize (awarded in 2005 by the Liberal Party,, and the Moral Courage Award for commitment to conflict resolution, ethics, and world citizenship. In 2006 she published her memoir, which appeared in English translation in 2007 titled Infidel.
She is a liar and a cheat the Disney version of events hides her diobaolical lies.
Everything stems fo Dutch Neo-Nazis, Danish bigots, and Swedesh racist, now supported by US Neocons.
Go worship her–why bother me?
