ROUND UP THE USUAL SUSPECTS

Open hunting season on “them” As they said in Casa Blanca “Round up the usual Suspects“. When all else fails, try to scare the people into submission.

A nation traumatized by 9/11 will do anything to get the nightmare to go away. Like a bad nightmare out of Superman, the evildoer Max Luther seems never to go away. We want the night in shining armor or the flying man to come and put the evildoers and his credo away. This is our wish.  

And “they”, knowing well our propensity of fear will keep on harping on our fears. This week, the same old characters were displayed with a new warning. The information was so weak that even Tom Ridge admitted that this is the same warning based on information from two years ago. President Bush was incensed at the lack of coordination between the Department of Justice and Homeland Security. Will this giant monolith department ever get coordinated. Something about the right hand of Ashcroft and the left hand…or something like that!. Surprise surprise!!.

The INS was having trouble getting its act together, now it has been merged with 12 other government departments. What were we thinking. Who runs this show the three stooges? Does all of this spell incompetence of neocon or both. Time for chickehawk stew? The suspects paraded included a 22 year old woman who is a mother of three! Her family attorney tried to explain that she is innocent. Innocent or not, we take pictures of Spanish fingerprints (even after the Spanish Police declares that there is not a match) and then put American citizens e in jail. The poor attorney on the West coast was simply a DWM (Driving while Muslim) and didn’t know what hit him, openly protesting that he had never been to Spain in his life. Where are the Civil Rights people protesting the destruction of our way of life.

This is not the America way.

OK! Here we go again, a few overzealous cops should not malign the great FBI with it’s long history of tolerance towards minorities and women! Where are the civil rights guys?

Hello!!! This isn’t about Muslims, this is about America.The silence from Jesse Jackson is deafening! We will wake up one day to realize they “they” are also one of us and we are all Americans and that we all have the same dreams and aspirations and we all love this gret land of liberty. The good thing about America is that all bad things come to an end. The open hunting season will also come to an end. Ask the slaves, the Japanese interns, the Germans after WW2 and others.

This November our nightmare will also be over. Not because the Conservatives will go away, because the press may grow “cahunas” once again! Unfortunately, there will be a few more bumps along the way, Zibigski warns us that the evildoers will do their thing and attack our great country again. But we SHALL overcome and America is will be America again. As Kruggman says, this time around the press will not be asleep.
